A Gambling Act case FIR No. 79/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 12.10.2016 U/S 3,4 Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Shyam Tomar, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 11.10.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards. At about 09-30 PM, on the secret information, a raid was conducted at Kyari Bazar & found 8 persons were playing cards in a room and recovered Rs. 1,27,940/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Kotkhai.
A Gambling Act case FIR No 175/16 has been registered at PS Theog today 12.08.2016 U/S 13-3-67 Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Rajinder, Addl. SHO PS Theog stated therein that on 11.10.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff, when they reached near Devi More Mandir and found that 8 persons were playing gambling with cards in under constructed building on the back side of Temple & recovered Rs. 43,500/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Rajinder, Addl. SHO PS Theog.
An Accident case FIR No 195/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 12.10.2016 U/S 279,337,304A IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Durga Singh S/o Palas Ram R/O Village Bhadrash PO Nirth Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 11.10.2016 at about 08-00 PM, he alongwith his friend Jagdyal was going towards Duttnagar in Motorcycle, at the same time one Alto car came rashly from Duttnagar side & collide with Motorcycle and ran away from spot. In this incident, Jagdyal S/o Pratap Singh died during treatment at IGMC & he sustained injuries.
An Accident case FIR No. 58/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 12.10.2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Pradeep Kumar S/o Sh. Sohan Lal R/o Village Nakari, Tehsil & PS Jubbal, Shimla stated therein that today at about 12-05PM, when he was stood outside his wine shop at Jubbal Bazar, at the same time a vehicle No. HP-63-7515 (i-20 car) came rashly and hit a little girl namely Diwanshi, age 4 years and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.
An Accident case FIR No. 107/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 12.10.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pradeep machhan S/o Sh. Bahadur Singh R/o Village Kutara, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that today at about 07-15 AM, he was going he was going to his native village in HRTC Bus No. HP-10A-4816 from Rohru. About 20/25 passengers were travelling in this bus. At about 07-45 AM, when they reached near Gawana Mod at Ghansari, above bus met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of driver Sanjay Kumar and rolled down 50/60 feet from the road. In this accident 21 passengers (01 female & 20 Male) sustained injuries & they shifted to CH Rohru for treatment. The case is being investigated by HC Ashish, I/O PS Rohru.
During last 24 hours 250 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 125 & fine realized Rs. 40,900/- & 53 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,650/-.
Fire Incident
Today on 12.10.2016, afternoon Fire Incident took place in the Govt. quarter of Smt. Sunita Thakur R/o Set No. 27, Type-II, Kasumpti Shimla A/P Posted in Govt. Sr. Sec. School Sanjauli, Shimla. House-hold articles/goods approximately amounting to Rs. 2.50/3 lacs burnt due to fire. Investigation is under process.
Inquest Report
Today morning, one person namely Karam Singh S/o Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Village Nanti, PO Fancha, Tehsil Rampur, Age 48 years got injured as a Bear attacked on him, while he was going to his farms in the jurisdiction of PS Jhakri. He died on the way to hospital at Ghanvi. After Postmortem, his deadbody handed over to his relative for cremation.

Accused Jitender Singh @ Bunty S/o Sh. Nishan Singh R/o Village Dalo Majara, PO Navipur, Tehsil & Distt. Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 199/16 Dt. 06.10.2016 U/S 407 IPC at PS Dhalli, is on police Remand upto 15.10.2016.
Accused Partap Singh S/O Lt. Sh. Madan Singh R/O Village & PO Bakras PS Shillai Distt Sirmour Age 30 year, arrested today in case FIR No. 14/16 Dt. 10.10.2016 U/S 354B, 451, 323 IPC at 1st Women Police Station BCS Shimla. is being produced before Ld. Court.
