Crime Report on July 02, 2016

  1. An Accident case FIR No. 140/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 01.07.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the Statement of Sh. Vijay Sharma S/o Sh. Keshav Ram R/o Vill. Randal PO Rampur Tehsil Nirmand  Distt. Kullu HP, stated therein that on 01.07.2016 at about 02.00 pm he reached near Switchyard Rampur his vehicle No. HP-35-3341,  at that time one vehicle No HP 02-0835 (Xylo) driven by Sandeep Kumar s/o Rama Nand R/O  Sangla  Kinnaur, came from Rampur with rash and Negligence driving and hit with his car & another vehicle No. HP-06-3164. In which incident one person namely Sunil Kumar sustained injuries. The case is being investigating by HC Sushil Kumar, TTR wing Rampur.
  2. A  Theft case FIR No. 156/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 01.07.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the report of Sh. Shashi Kumar S/o Sh. Nikka Ram R/o Village Doba Thana, PO Shivan, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 24/25.06.2016, some unknown person has stolen away his vehicle No. HP-52A-0874 (Alto Car) bearing Engine No. F8DN1121711 & chassis No. MA3EYD81500672957, on Lakkar Bazar Road near Sanjauli Chowk. The case is being investigated by HC Paramjeet, I/O PP Sanjauli. 
  3. During last 24 hours 538 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 126 & fine realized Rs. 74,600/- and 96 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs 10,000/-

Follow Up

  1. Accused Rahul Kapta S/o Sh. Baldev Singh Kapta R/o Village Shallan, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 36/16 Dt. 25.06.16 U/S 363 366 IPC at PS Chirgaon. He is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

  2. Accused Nek Rram S/o Bhagatram village Tabhog P/o pahal Tehsil Sunni Distt Shimla arrested in case FIR No 43/16 date 29.06.2016 U/S 376,506 IPC and sec 4 of Pocso act at 1.00 am on 30.06.2016 from PS Sunni, today sent to judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

  3. Accused Mohmad  Sharif @ Tunda  S/o Sh. Mohmad Guljar R/o Village Koti Chadiyar  P/o  Surjan Chalog, Tehsil & PS Banni  Distt. Kathua J&K  age 27 year arrested in case FIR No. 104/16 dt 24-06-2016 U/S 454,380 IPC  at PS Theog is on Police remand up to 04.07.2016
