Crime Report on March 20,2016

1. An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 65/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 20.03.16 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Deepak Thakur, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 19/20-03.2016, he along with staff was on patrolling at Sanjauli Chowk. At about 12-35 PM, one person namely Vijay Chauhan S/o Sh. Daulat Ram Chauhan R/o Rukmani Niwas, North-Oak Sanjauli, Shimla, age 34 years, stood on the road towards IGMC from Sanjauli Chowk. During search, 22 bottles of restricted medicine Corex Cough Syrup 100ml each, recovered from his possession. Accused arrested and the case is being investigated by SI Deepak Thakur, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla.

2. An Accident case FIR No 37/16 has been registered at PS Theog at on 19.03.2016 U/S 279 ,337 IPC on the statement of Smt Mathi Devi W/o Late Sh Ganesh Ram R/o village Kail P/oMajhar Tehsil Theog alleging therein that on 18.03.2016 She was at Bus Stand Theog at the same time a vehicle No. HP-63-4006 came rashly from Narakanda Side and hit her body. In this accident she sustain injuries .This Accident happened due to Rash and Negligent driving of Rajinder .The case is being investigated by ASi Sunil Kumar I/O PS Theog .

3. An Accident case FIR No 17/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 20.03.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Smt Sarita  W/o Sh Geeta Ram Village Garh P/o Tikkri Tehsil Chirgaon Distt Shimla therein that on  20.03.2016 at about 11:30 AM a vehicle A/F HP-03T-4170 Maruti Van met with an accidentat at Jakhwani curve near Sandasu Tehsil Chirgaon due to the rash and negligent driving Mukesh Kumar S/0 Meer Sukh Village Mandli Tehsil Chirgaon age 19 years.In this accident five  persons sustained  injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagi Rath  I/O PS Chirgaon.

4. During last 24 hours 346 vehicles challaned under MV Act,  Total Challan compounded =129 & fine realized Rs. 50,900/-, 86 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 9600/-

   Inquest Report

   On 19.03.2016 an unidentified male person's dead body Age, about 25/30 yrs found at Luhri bridge near the bank of Satluj river in the jurisdiction of PP Sainj. Postmortem has conducted at CHC Kumarsain and dead body kept in Mortuary.

   Follow-Up

1. Accused Prakash Chand S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village & PO Jokhar, Tehsil Kupvi, Distt. Shimla arrested in case FIR No 14/16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chopal is on Police remand upto 21.03.2016.

2. Accused namely Vijay Luxmi W/o Sh. Dev Chand R/O Pekha PO Khashadhar Teh Chirgaon Distt Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 23/16 Dt. 18.03.2016 U/S 452,326,307, IPC at PS Rorhu is on Police remand upto 21.03.2016.

3. Accused Vijay Chauhan S/o Sh. Daulat Ram Chauhan R/o Rukmani Niwas, North-Oak Sanjauli, Shimla, age 34 years arrested in case FIR No 65/16 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli is on Police remand upto 22.03.2016.
