PRESS NOTE DATED 08.08.2015.
1. An Accident case FIR No. 40/15 registered at PS Kotkhai on dated 07.08.2015 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Vijay Kapret S/O Sh. Puran Chand R/O Village Purag, PO Purag, Tehsil Kotkhai, District Shimla alleging therein that on dated 07.08.2015 at about 4.45PM a Maruti Car No. HP52A-6063, coming towards Kotkhai met with an accident Near PWD Rest House Kotkhai due to rash and negligent driving of driver Parveen @ Veenu S/O sh. Jagdish R/O Nagendri, PO Rawlakayar, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt Shimla. The above Maruti Car rolled down about 400ft from the road. In this accident driver Parveen, Sh. Satish Sharma, Smt. Anju sustained injuries and Mr Mayank age about 12 years died on spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 68/15 registered at PS East on dated 07.08.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunny Saini S/O sh. Rajpal R/O Vill. Mehar Majra, PO Bauria, Tehsil Chhachhroli, Distt Yamuna Nagar, Haryana C/O Dochi, PO Beolia, Shimla, HP alleging therein that on dated 07.08.2015 he, Vishal & Avitesh Sonu were coming towards Dochi in Maruti Car No. CH-04-2275 When they reached at lower Panthaghati driver Avitesh lost the control over the vehicle and rolled down from the road. In this accident above three persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Dalip I/O PP Kasumpti, East, Shimla.
3. Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant case FIR No. 261/15 registered at PS Dhalli on dated 08.08.2015 U/S 188 IPC on the Rukka of LHC Sarita I/O PS Dhalli alleging therein that She alongwith staff was on patrolling duty at Gahan a persons namely Rameshwar Sharma given a complaint alleging therein that sh. Kulprasad tenant of Sh. Manohar. Kulprasad and his family often quarrels with each other and Manohar owner has not registered his tenant Kulprasad and his family in police station till today. The case is being investigated by LHC Sarita I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla.
4. Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 82/15 registered at PS Jhakri on dated 08.08.2015 U/S 353, 332, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Virender Verma J.E./ HPPWD, Sub-Division Sarahan, Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla, HP, alleging therein that on dated 08.07.15 when he alongwith J.E. Rakesh Kumar were checking the road's Kachpeth, one sh. Keshav Ram Barogi and his son Bhupesh Barogi come there and assault criminally force to him during duty and also threatened him with dire consequences. In this incident he sustained injuries on lt thumb. The case is being investigated by HC Dola Ram I/O PP Sarahan, PS Rampur, Shimla.
5. During last 24 hours 135 vehicles challaned under MV Act. Total challan compounded= 67 & fine realized Rs. 19,500/-

- Rajinder S/o Sh. Relu Ram R/o Vill. Sarahan Tehsil Chopal Distt. SHimla and Mohan Singh S/o Sh. Lachhi Ram R/o Vill Antrawali PO Nakaurapul Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla had been arrested in case FIR No. 32/15 U/s 379 IPC, 14,42 IF Act and 207 MV Act at PS Chopal, have been bailed out today by Ld JMIC Chopal.
