PRESS NOTE 23 FEBRUARY, 2015

1.   A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 30/15 has been registered at PS Theog, Shimla on 22.02.15 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Het Ram, I/O PS Theog stated therein that on 22.02.2015, he Alongwith staff on Nakabandi duty near village Chaura at Mashobra. During traffic checking, one vehicle No. HP-33T-9490 (Temp) Nano alongwith driver namely Aamunideen S/o Lat Sh. Pisardeen, R/o Village Markanda, Makdi, PO Jukhala, Tehsil Sadar, Bilaspur intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 285 gram charas & 30 gram opium from his possession. The above accused has been arrested by the police and case is being investigated HC Het Ram No. 242, I/O PS Theog, Shimla.

2.   A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 31/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 22.02.15 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of Insp. Gauri Dutt, SHO PS Theog stated therein that on 22.02.2015, on the secret information, he alongwith staff, searched the house of Ram Krishan S/o Sh. Daulat Ram, R/o Village Tikkar, Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla and recovered 248 gram charas, 110 gram opium & cash Rs. 5,07,500/-. The case is being investigated by Insp. Gauri Dutt, SHO PS Theog, Shimla.

3.   A Burglary case FIR No. 67/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 22.01.2015 U/S 454,380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Amit s/o Sh. Gian Chand R/o Village Kotli, PO Bir, Tehsil Baijnath, Distt. Kangra A/P Tenant C/o Shyam Niwas near Cemetery Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that before 20 days ago, some unknown person has stolen away two Laptops (Lenovo & HP Compac), one CD Bag alongwith charger and cash Rs. 2000/- from his room. The case is being investigated by HC Rameshwar Singh, I/O PS Dhalli. 

4.   An Accident case FIR No. 12/14 is registered at PS East today i.e. 23.02.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rohit Aggarwal S/o Sh. Brij Mohan Aggarwal R/o Winter College, Bemloe, Shimla alleging therein that he alongwith his father was going to Bazar on foot. At about 09-30 PM, when they reached at Bemloe, at the same time one Bus No. HP-07B-9009 came rashly and hit his father. In this accident his father Brij Mohan sustained injury. The case  is being investigated by ASI Naresh Kumar, I/O PS East.

5.   During last 24 hours Total 70 vehicles challaned by Shimla police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded= 26 and Fine realized Rs. 7,600/-.

 Follow-Up

1.    Accused Santosh Kumar S/O sh. Durga Singh R/O Chandel Niwas, Nr Durga Gas Agency, Sanjauli, Shimla-6 Age 18 years arrested on dated 21.02.2015 in Case FIR NO. 66/15 Dated 18.02.2015 U/S 454,380 IPC PS Dhalli, is on police remand upto 25.02.2015.

2.    Accused Balkrishan S/o Sh. Med Ram R/o Village Dimpo, PO Sarain, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 20 years case FIR No. 42/15 Dt. 19.02.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Sadar, today sent to judicial remand by the trial court.

3.    Accused Aamunideen S/o Lat Sh. Pisardeen, R/o Village Markanda, Makdi, PO Jukhala, Tehsil Sadar, Bilaspur has been arrested in case FIR No. 30/15 Dt. 22.02.15 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is on police remand upto 25.02.2015.
