CRIME REPORT 14 FEBRUARY

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 19/14 is registered at PS West on 14.02.14 U/S 279 IPC Act on the statement of Sh. Puran Sharma S/o Sh. Amar Das Sharma R/o Sarahana, PO Duchi, Teh. Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 14-2-14 a vehicle No. HO01S-0467 hit his vehicle No. HP63B-1400 near 103 Tunnel due to rash and negligent driving. The Case is being investigated by HC Pyare, I/O PS West.

2. An Accident Case FIR No. 09/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 13.02.14 U/S 279, 337 IPC Act on the statement of Sh. Tara Thapa S/o Sh. Juda Bahadur R/o Dhang, Teh. Bijoher Ward No.2, Anchal Rawati, Distt. Dhang Nepal, alleging therein that on 13-2-14 at when he was going to his quarter alongwith his sister-in-law, a bike A/F came into his back side and hit his sister-in-law and she fall down on the road and got injured.  The Case is being investigated by HHC Brij Lal, I/O PS Rohru.

3. A ND&PS Act Case FIR No. 13/14 is registered at PS East on 13.02.14 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the report of LHC Kalpna, I/O PS East that when he was on patrolling alongwith staff near Majhitha House a person namely Naresh Kumar S/o late Sh. Bansi Ram R/o Vill. Dhara near Govt. SSS Lalpani, Shimla started running to saw the police officials. During his personal search 8 gm charas has been recovered from his possession. ACCUSED ARRESTED. The Case is being investigated by LHC Kalpna, I/O PS East.

4. A Theft Case FIR No. 30/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 13.02.14 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vivek Sharma S/o Sh. Rajender Kumar Sharma R/o Sipur, PO Mashobra, Teh. & Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 28-12-13 he parked his Motor Cycle No. HP51A-0432 at Mashobra Bazar. On 7-2-14 he found that some unknown person has stolen away his Motor Cycle. The Case is being investigated by HC Daljeet Singh, I/O PP Mashobra.

5. During last 24 hours 167 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 14 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 23,500/-.
