CRIME REPORT 07 FEBRUARY

  1. A ND&PS Act Case FIR No. 11/14 is registered at PS Nerwa on 07.02.14 U/S  15 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Ramesh Chand, I/C CP Jamrari Barrier that on 6.2.14 at 8.00 PM during traffic checking recovered 300gm poppy straw from vehicle Bolero Camper No. HP08A-0982. Driver of vehicle run away due to darkness. The Case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Singh, I/O PS Nerwa.

  2. An Accident Case FIR No. 11/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 07.02.14 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Bhagat Ram, Incharge Police Post Taklech that on 6.2.14 one vehicle Bolero Camper No. HP06A-4373 met with an accident near Chowka Nalla and rolled down from the road due to rash and negligent driving by driver Sumit Kumar S/o Pratap Chauhan R/o Masarna, PO Bharawali, Teh. Rampur, Distt. Shimla. In this accident 3 persons namely Manmohan Singh S/o Rajinder Singh R/o Chhalawat, PO Bharawali, Rajnesh S/o Prakash Chand R/o Vill. Brandali, Teh. Rampur & Nirmala Devi R/o Vill. Rohnat, PO Madal, Teh. Jubbal died on the spot and driver got injuries. The Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/C PP Taklech.

  3. An Accident Case FIR No. 9/14 is registered at PS East on 06.02.14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the report of HC Vishal Singh, Temporary Naka Duty at Mehali that on 6.2.14 at 2.35PM when he was present naka duty at Mehali alongwith staff a Tipper No. HP 63A-2261 came from Malyana very rashly and hit cycle rider namely Aman Kainthla. The Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Kumar, I/O PS East.

  4. A Theft by Servant of Property in Possession Case FIR No. 26/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 07.02.14 U/S 381 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Vidotma W/o late Sh. Raj Kumar Sood R/o Sai Bhawan Malyana, Shimla, alleging therein that on 6-2-14 her servant Lalit Bittan S/o late Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Bittani Haroli, PO Haroli, Distt. Una has stolen away Rs.1,00,000 and some ornaments from Almirah. The Case is being investigated by HC Rameshwar, I/O PS Dhalli.

  5. During last 24 hours 107 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 10 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 15,900/-.
