Crime Report on May 31,2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No 24/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 31.05.2016 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act  on the rukka of HC Sharrifodin  I/O PS Nerwa alleging therein that today on 31.05.2016 he was on Nakabandi Duty along with staff at Ranakyar. During checking of a vehicle No HP 63 4022 he recovered 48 bottles of country liquor and 12 bottles of beer from inside the vehicle .A person namely Sandeep Zinta was driving the vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Sharrifodin  I/O PS Nerwa

2. An Accident case FIR No 60/16 has been registered at PS East on 30.05.2016 U/S 279,337,304(A) IPC on the statement of Miss Anchal Kumari D/o Sh Puran Singh R/o village Gaura Mishnu Tehsil Rampur  alleging therein that on 30.05.2016 she was coming to Shimla from APG University in vehicle No HP 52A-7731 .When They reached near  Beolia this vehicle met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of Abhishek Mehra in which Abhishiek Mehra and Akash Chauhan  died on the spot . The case is being investigated by SI Sewa Singh I/C PP Kasumpti. 

3. An Accident case FIR No 110/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 30.05.2016 U/S 279, 304A  IPC on the   statement of Rajat kumar S/O Suresh Kumar R/O Baherr alleging therein that today on 31.05.2016 about 6:30PM one motor cycles came from Rampur side and hit Sh Haminder Prakash S/o Som Prakash Vill. Lana chetta P.O Nauradhar Distt Sirmour aged 21 years who came for recruitment in Indian army being held at Patbangla ground has been  expired on the spot .The case is being investigated by HC Susheel I/O PS Rampur

4. An Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No 51/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain U/S 353,341,332,323,504,506,34 IPC on the statement of ASI Amar Singh presently posted at Traffic Wing Shimla Alleging therein that on 30.05.2016 he was coming from Rorhu To Shimla in vehicle No HP07B0390 (Estem) after performing evidence  duty  at ACJM  court Rorhu . When he reached near Batnal Nala his vehicle stopped due to traffic jam .At the same time two vehicles No. 10B0755 ( Scorpio)  and HP10A0069 ( Safari) came there and some person came out from the vehicle and beaten him brutally without any reason and deterred him to complete government duty. They also threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal I/C  PP Narkanda.

5. A Theft case FIR No 54/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 30.5.2016 U/S 379 IPC 33 IF Act on the statement of Regional officer forest alleging therein that on 28.05.2016 he recieved an information from D.F.O Theog regarding illegal cutting of trees on the reserve forest area beat D-187 Mihani at Jarai. After receiving this information he along with other staff of forest department .They visited the spot and found that some unknown person cut the Deodar Trees illegally and also stolen away from the spot .The  case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet I/O PS Kotkhai .

6. A Theft case FIR No 91/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 31.05.2016 U/S 457,380 IPC on the Statement of Sh Kali Ram S/o Sh Bala Ram village Dumehar P/O Tiyali tehsil Theog Distt Shimla alleging therein that today on 31.05.2016 three persons stolen away 48 power batteries from the G.T.L room and they loaded these batteries in vehicle No HP08A-1019.The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand I/O PP Fagu.   

    

7. During last 24 hours 367 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 217 & fine realized Rs.,85,800/-, 17 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs 1700/- & 01 challaned under Mining Act and collected fine Rs 15000.
