A Theft case FIR No. 62/16 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 10.05.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mast Ram A/P Dy. Forest Ranger, Block Shimla & Sh. Yagyast Sharma A/P Forest Guard, Forest Corporation Shimla Block stated therein that on 05.05.2016 at about 03-10AM, Watchmen Sh. Nikka Ram & Laiq Ram informed them telephonically that timber has been stolen from Depot at Kanlog. On this information he alongwith staff rushed to the spot and found that some unknown person has stolen away 34 logs of Deodar from Kanlog Timber Depot. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS New Shimla.
During last 24 hours MV Act Challan= NIL and 05 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 500/
