Crime Report on June 01,2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No 138/16 has been registered at PS West on 01.06.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ajit Singh I/O PS West alleging therein that today, on 01.06.2016 he was on patrolling cum traffic duty towards Shoghi along with staff. When they reached near Shogi  and stopped a vehicle No HP-15-2121 for checking and recovered 120 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Parashar Verma S/o Sh Bansi Ram Sharma R/o Sh Ladali P/o Sayari Tehsil Kandaghat Distt Solan.The case is being investigated by ASI Ajit Singh I/O PS West.
2. A Forest Act case FIR No. 47/16 has been registered at PS Rorhu on 31.05.2016 U/S 379 IPC & 32, 33 IF Act has been registered in PS Rohru on the application of Forest Range Officer Tikkar, forwarded by ASI Kundan Lal I/C Police Post Tikkar, alleging therein that in intervening night of 19/20.05.2016, some unknown person cut the total 51 trees of Sapling 21, Kayal v-9, iv 16 iii 3, Rai iv 1  v-1)from forest land DPF C No. 6B Tikkar. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal I/C Police Post Tikkar.
3. A Forest Act case FIR No 48/16 has been registered At PS Rorhu On 31.05.2016 U/S 379 IPC & 32, 33 IF on the application of Sh Pieush Kumar RFO Jubbal Forest Range  alleging therein that on 10.05.2016 some unknown persons cut the trees of different species in Shallan Beat and also stolen away these trees from said place. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal I/C Police Post Tikkar.
4. During last 24 hours 695 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 233 & fine realized Rs. 83,800/-, 56 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs 6100/-
