Crime Report on June 21, 2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No 102/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 20.06.2016 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Sunil Kumar  I/O PS Theog alleging therein that on 21.06.2016 he recovered 22 bottles of country Liquor from the possession of Bhoop Ram S/o Late Sh Mast Ram R/o village Thanda P/o Chikhad Tehsil and Distt Shimla.The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil I/O PS Theog.
2. An Excise Act case FIR No 137/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 21.06.2016 U/S 39(1) (a) HP Excise Act PS Sadar Shimla on the rukka of SI Rajneesh I/C  PP Lakkar Bazaar alleging therein that today on 21.06.2016 he intercepted a vehicle No HP10-0490 driven by Hitesh S/o Sh Mast Ram R/o village Mandi P/o Khanaghu Tehsil Arki Distt Solan and recovered 216 bottles of country liquor from inside the vehicle.The case is being investigated by SI Rajneesh I/C  PP Lakkar Bazaar.
3. During last 24 hours 480 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 224 & fine realized Rs. 75,100/- and 69 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs 8650/-

Inquest Report

Decessed Govind Singh S/o Late Sh Nikka Ram R/o village Bavi P/o Rusla Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla died due to fall from hill near his villge.The proceeding under section 174 CrPC is under process.

1. Accused Uttam Singh @ Nittu S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/O VPO Kotla, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt Shimla, HP. 2. Accused Babu Ram @ Santu S/O Sh. Hari Ram R/o Village Balh, PO Chamdhar, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt Solan, HP and 3. Raj Kumar @ Raju S/O Sh. Hori Lal R/O Vill. Bahranpur, PO Dharampu Ratta, Tehsil Chandosi, Distt Sambal, UP have been arrested in Case FIR NO. 55/16 dated 10.06.2016 U/S 380 IPC PS Kotkhai are in Police Remand up to 23.06.2016.
