Crime Report on 24 December, 2015

1. A Burglary case FIR No. 132/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 23-12-2015U/S 457, 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Gulshan Mehta S/O  Late Sh . Nanak Chand R/O Village Melthi PO Pujarli No. 2 Tehsil & PS  Rohru Distt. Shimla HP stated therein that in the intervening night of 22/23-12-2015, some unknown person has broken the locks of his shop at Bazaar Melthi and stolen away five mobile sets (Videocon, Lava, i-ball), 50  memory cards, 15 mobile chargers, cigarettes, lighters, cosmetic articles and dry fruits from the shop. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh I/O PS Rohru.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 207/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 23-12-2015 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Het Ram S/o Dila Ram R/o Vill Karyal PO Cheog Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla stated therein that one Maruti Car No. CH-03C-2516 met with an accident near talai and rolled down from the road due to rash and negligent driving of driver Raju. In this accident all 05 persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by I/C PP Phagu PS Theog.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 606/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 24.12.15 U/S 279,337 IPC on the Statement of Sh. Nek Ram s/o Sh. Nand Lal Vill Rikhi PO Banthal Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi stated therein that today i.e. 24-12-2015 he and Kamal Dev were going to Karsog in vehicle No. HP26A-0535 (Bolero Camper). When they reached ahead from Mashobra the vehicle met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of driver Kamal Dev. In this accident they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Kanwar Singh I.O PP Mashobra.

4. An Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 305/15 has been registered at PS west today on 24-12-2015 u/s 456,353,332,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Subhash Sharma S/o Sh. JaiPal R/o Vill Palasi Kala Tehsil Nalagarh Distt. Solan at present Peon in transport department Deputy Directorate Shimla stated therein that in the intervening night of 23/24-12-2015 when he was on duty he heard the voice of someone in the office. On the second floor two person met him who beaten and obstruct him to discharge his duty. He could not identified them due to darkness. The case is being investigated by HC Laiq Ram I.O PS West.

5. During last 24 hours 316 vehicles challaned under MV Act. Total Challan compounded = 138 and fine realized Rs. 49,100/-

           Deceased Jarnail Singh  age 38 S/o Lt. Sh. Kevraj R/o Vill Shichal Goyla PO Halarna Tehsil Kahara Distt. Doda J&K at present C/o Sh. Govind Singh S/o Martha Ram R/o Vill Shawala PO Mahansu Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla died today at present address due to inhaling Charcoal Gas during sleeping.
