CRIME REPORT 14 JAN

1.      A case under EXCISE ACT is registered at Police Station Jhakri on 13-1-2013 that during patrolling at village Shah police party recovered 5 bottles of country liquor from one person.

2.      An ACCIDENT case is registered at Police Station Rampur on 04-01-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC that on 13-01-13 at 7:45 PM one vehicle Verito Car No. HP-06A-3156 met with accident near Matred, Rampur. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of above vehicle.

3.      An ACCIDENT case is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 13-01-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC that on 13-01-13 a Private Bus No. HP-63A-0160, which was on its route from Pantha Ghati to Shimla, near CPWD Office Bemloyee, above bus hit one pedestrian named Sh. Sunil Kumar, in this incident Sunil Kumar sustained injury. During treatment at IGMC above Sunil died. This accident took place due to rash & negligent driving by the driver namely Raj Kumar. 

4.      A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 13-01-13 U/S 341, 356, 323, 34 IPC that on 13-01-13 some persons wrongfully restraint one person near Revoli road and snatched his Mobile and cash Rs. 4/5 thousand.

5.      A THEFT case is registered at Police Station New Shimla on 14-01-13 U/S 342, 379, 279, 337 IPC that on 14-01-13 some unknown person entered in the watchman room and took away the key of vehicle Alto car No. HP-63-2176 and stolen away above vehicle and hit above vehicle with Trala No. HR-68-1385 near Khalini Nala. Accused person has been arrested and the car has been recovered.
