1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 09/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 23.01.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp. Manish Chaudhary, SHO PS Rampur alleging therein that on 22.01.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, one vehicle HP06A-0810 stopped by them for checking  near Brow Bridge and recovered 39 Boxes of Country Liquor Marka Una No-1 from above Vehicle under the possession of driver Anil Negi S/O Sh. Ram Dass R/o Village Kori PO Dhar-Gaura Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. Case is being investigating by Insp./SHO PS Rampur.

2.  During last 24 hours 277 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 163, fine realized Rs. 59,500/-, 25 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,500/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.

1.   Accused Bhup Singh S/o Late Sh. Tulsi Ram R/o Vill Shalot (Tos) PO Koti Teshil and Distt. Shimla age 62 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 11/18 dated 12-01-2018 u/s 379 IPC and 32,33,41,42 Indian forest act at PS Dhalli today further  remanded in Police custody upto 24.01.2018, by the Ld. Court.

2.      Accused Javed Ali S/O Julfukar Ali R/O Village Joa PS & Teh. Budhana Distt Mujhffarnagar (U.P) arrested in case FIR No. 10/18 Dt. 20-01-2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Rorhu today remanded in judicial custody for 10 days upto 01-02-2018, by the Ld. Court. 

3.   Accused Ramesh Singh s/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Village & PO Bagankot Teh. Mahor Distt. Reasi J&K age 29 years, arrested in case FIR No. 132/17 Dt. 21.11.2017 U/S 302 IPC at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in Police custody upto 27.01.2018, by the Ld. Court.

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 06/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 21.01.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Deepak Kumar No. 03, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 21.01.2018 at about 07-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Rohit Manta S/o Sh. Govind Singh R/o Village Diswani PO Kaloti Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla intercepted by them near Badiyara Bridge and recovered 13 Gram Charas from his possession. Accused has been released by issuing notice U/S Sec. 41A Cr.PC & The case is being investigated by HC Deepak Kumar No. 03, I/O PS Chirgaon.
2. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 07/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 21.01.2018 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sita Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Mohan Singh R/o Village Kuffar PO & Tehsil Chopal District Shimla stated therein that some unknown persons has broken the door locks of Shirgul Devta Maharaj Temple  and stolen away 2 idols of Shirgul Maharaj, 2 Chhatra & 1 Shiansan. 3. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla today on 22.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajat Saini S/o Sh. Lej Ram Saini R/o Block-B, Type-III, Set no. 13 near Ramleela Stage Nabha, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein on the intervening night of 19/20.01.2018, some unknown person has stolen away his Motorcycle No. HP07C-2274, parked on roadside near Hari Temple Chakkar. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar, I/O PS Shimla West.
4. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 18/18 has been registered PS Dhalli on 21.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Yugesh S/o Sh. Upender Kumar R/o Village Lathaihri Tehsil Karsong, Mandi alleging therein that in the intervening night of 17/18.01.2018, some unknown person has stolen away his TVS Motorcycle bearing Engine No. GFIHH1557886 & Chassis No. MD625GF15HIH57741, parked near HP Petrol Pump, Dhalli.   
5. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Suresh Kumar R/o Village Bhalari PO Sainj Tehsil Kumarsain Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night, some unknown person has stolen away rear tyre of his vehicle No. HP06A-5777, parked at Bhalari mode. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj, I/C PP Sainj.
6. A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 13/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.01.2018 U/S 451, 430, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gopal Krishan Bhardwaj R/o Village Kehri PO Oddi Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that his neighbourer Surender Jaret illegally entered on the roof of his house and damaged water tank and pipes and also threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh Negi, I/O PS Kumarsain.

A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 13/18 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla today on 22.01.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Ms. Meenakshi R/o 73/1 Building, Ram Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that in the intervening night, some unknown person has broken the door locks of her neighbourer Smt. Veena Sood’s & Vijay’s house, who are out of station. The detail of theft articles  can tell only owner of the house. The case is being investigated by HC Shiv Dev, I/O PS Sadar.

Crime Report on Jan, 21, 2018

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.  14/18 has been registered at PS West on 20-01-2018 U/S 39(1)(a) HP Excise Act PS West Shimla on the rukka of SI Subash Chand I/O Traffic Unit Shimla alleging therein that on 20.01.2018 he was on duty at Victory Tunnel along with staff. During his duty he stopped a vehicle No HP51-5997 for checking and recovered 25 boxes of country liquor and 01 box of English liquor from inside the vehicle. Driver of above vehicle run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj I/O PS West.

AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 09/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 20.01.2018 U/S 39(1)A HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Vishesh Kumar, I/C PP City Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.01.2018 at about 07-30 PM he was on patrolling alongwith staff near Seema College Rohru, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the Chicken Shop of Chhungal Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Sawaru Ram R/o Rantari (Seema) Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla HP and recovered 2 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Himachal Orange and 1 Bottle of Bear Marka Kingfisher from his possession. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 10/18 has been Registered at PS Rorhu on 20.01.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the Rukka Of SHO PS Rohru alleging therein that when he was on Nakabandi/Petrolling alongwith staff in his jurisdiction about 07:35 PM during checking of vehicles  near Indoor Stadium Samala a Bolero No UP-12 AC-9814 came from Kansakoti Rohru side stopped by him for checking and recovered 223.05 Gram Charas from inside vehicle. The driver of above vehicle namely Javed Ali S/o Julfukar Ali R/o Village Joa PS & Teh. Budhana Distt Mujhffarnagar (U.P) has been and the case is being investigated by SHO of PS Rohru.

A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No.10/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 21.01.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the Rukka of ASI Chet Ram I/C PP Deha alleging therein that on 21.01.2018 during patrolling alongwith staff at Baldhar on the secret information he checked the H.R.T.C Bus No. HP-03B-6175 Route Nerwa to Chamunda and recovered 255 Gram Charas From the Possession of  Amandeep S /o Sh. Mast Ram VPO Basara Tehsil Rampur District Shimla Age 21 years. The accused has been arrested and case is being investigated by ASI Chet Ram I/C PP Deha.

A ND&PS ACT : Case FIR NO.05/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 21.01.2018 U/S 15-61-85 ND&PS Act on the Rukka of HC Budhi Singh I/O PS Nerwa alleging therein that, today on 21.01.2018 during traffic checking along with staff he stopped a Truck No. HR 45B 4523 for checking in which he recovered 215 Gram Chura Post (Bhukki) from inside the vehicle. Driver of Truck namely Satish S/o Sh Krishan Lal R/o VPO Sandhair Tehsil Nilokheri District Karnal Haryana has been arrested and case is being investigated by HC Budhi Tam I/O PS Nerwa .

1. An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 09/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 20-01-17 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Hem Raj I/C PP Matiyana alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty toward GadahKufar. During patrolling he received a secret information of Charas and stopped the Pvt. Bus (Sharma travels) No.HP62-1920 at Kuindal Curve GadahKufare. During searched he recovered 51 gm. charas from the possession of Pardeep Sharma S/o Sh. Gopal Sharma ( Dvr. of bus) R/o Vill Bachlon PO Bharana Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj I/C PP Matiyana.

AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 08/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 18.01.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu (Theog) alleging therein that on 18.01.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Raj Gaj R/o Village Juggad PO Shatlai Tehsil & Distt. Shimla apprehended by him alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Himachal Orange. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 17/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 20.01.2018 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Sukesh Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that one Mahindra Pick-Up No. HP77-0010 met with an accident near Housing Board Colony and rolled down 60/70 feet from the road due to rash and negligent driving of Naval Kishor. In this accident, two persons namely Naval Kishore S/o Sh. Uday Singh Rana R/o Village Tegla PO Khashdhar Tehsil Chirgaon Distt. Shimla, Brijesh Thakur S/o Sh. Daleep Singh Rana R/o Village Khakrola Tehsil Rampur, Shimla sustained injuries & Vikram Thakur S/o Sh. Mahaveer Singh R/o Village Khanola PO Summerkot, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla died.  The case is being investigated by ASI Sukesh Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli Shimla.

A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 03/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 19.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC & 32, 33 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Range Forest Officer Kotkhai stated therein that 13 trees of Deodar (Cedar) found cut/uprooted at Tharmla Forest Area  in Himri Beat and theft by some unknown person. The case is being investigated by ASI Rameshwar Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.

INQUEST REPORT

Today deceased Prem Raj @ Guddu S/O Lt. Sh. Jai Singh R/o Jharag Teh Rohru age 42 years A/P Clerk in Tehsil  office Jangla found dead in his quarter at Prithvi Raj building near Tehsil office Chirgaon. The autopsy of deceased has been conducted at CHC Sandasu & dead body has been handed over to his family members. The Proceeding U/S 174 CrPc. is being carried out by SI/SHO Babu Ram.

FIRE INCIDENT

Today a fire incident took place at Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla in the top floor of building of Rohit Chauhan S/o Late Sh. Om Parkash VPO Gumma Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla due to electric short circuit. In this incident top floor of building burnt totally due to fire and burnt household articles also.

1.    AN ND&PS case FIR No. 04/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 18.01.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS ACT on the rukka of HC Naresh Kumar I.O PS Chopal alleging therein that he alongwith staff was on patrolling/checking duty at Chanjalpul. During patrolling one person namely Singh Bhadur S/o Tul Bahadur R/o Vill. Dogra PO & Tehsil Gakakot Disttt. Jagarkot Anchal beri Nepal at present c/o Lokinddr Sharma R/o Jaigarh PO & Tehsil Chopal District Shimla intercepted by him and recovered 45 gram charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar I.O PS Chopal.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 04/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 18.01.2018 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka ASI Amar Nath, I/O PS Jubbal stated therein that on 18.01.2018 at about 02-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP51-3946 (Maruti Car) met with an accident near village Chamaru and rolled down 20/25 meter from the road. In this accident, one lady namely Neela Devi W/o Sh. Dharam Dass R/o Village & PO Deem, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, age 48 years died on the spot and another two persons namely Dharm Das S/o Sh. Karmu Ram R/o Village & PO Deem Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, age 53 years and Madhav S/o Sh. Khyber Dass R/o Village Chamaru Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, age 42 years, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/O PS Jubbal.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 13/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 18.01.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Som Krishan S/o Sh. Kundan Lal Verma R/o Village Shaloth, PO Shaorkshan, Tehsil & PS Karsog, Distt. Mandi, A/P serving as Driver in vehicle No. HP07E-0017, GAD, Secretariat, Chhota Shimla-2 stated therein that on 18.01.2018, he alongwith Sh. Prabodh Saxena- Home Secy. &  Health and Ct. Kewal Ram No. 314 (PSO) was going to Kalka Railway Station from Shimla in above vehicle. At about 09-20 PM, when they reached near Tourism Workshop, at the same time one Alto Car No. HP51A-0617 driven by Rohini Verma, came rashly in wrong direction and hit with his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to driver Rohini Verma. The case is being investigated by ASI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS Shimla West.

4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 03/18 has been registered at PS Kupvi on 18.01.2018 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Subhash Chand, I/O PS Kupvi, Shimla alleging therein that on 18.01.2018 at about 12-50 PM, one vehicle No. HP62A-3226 met with an accident  near Village Shallah due to rash & negligent driving of Balbir Singh @ Body and rolled down from the road into deep ditch. In this accident, three persons namely Jagat Singh S/o Sh. Jeet Singh R/o Village Bagi, PO Charoli, Tehsil Kupvi, Shimla, Sandeep Kumar S/o Sh. Kirpa Ram R/o Village Tikkar PO Charoli, Shimla and Prakash Chand S/o Sh. Rania Ram R/o Village Tikkar, Tehsil Kupvi, Shimla died on the spot and driver Balbir Singh @ Bobby S/o Sh. Mohi Ram R/o Village Chayama Manjholi, Tehsil Kupvi, Shimla, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Subhash Chand, I/O PS Kupvi.     

5.    A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar today on 19.01.2018 U/S  457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Meenakshi Sood W/o Sh. Yashwant Lal Sood R/o Oil Godown near Chadda Transport, Old Bus Stand Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 18.01.2018, some unknown person has broken the door lock of her house and stolen away cash Rs. 38,000/-, One Mobile phone (Intex), ATM Card (Bank of Baroda) Smart Card etc. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Singh I.O. PS Sadar.

6.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 07/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 18.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vineet Sood S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Shali Bazar, Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 14/15.01.2018, some unknown person has stolen away his vehicle No. HP03C-1064 (Maruti Car) from Theog. The case is being investigated by ASI Jeet Ram, I/O PS Theog.

7.    During last 24 hours 309 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 123, fine realized Rs. 47,700/- and 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,100/-.

Crime Report on Jan. 18, 2018

1. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 11/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 18.01.2018 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kamal Kumar S/o Sh. Bhima Nand R/o Village Dared, PO Anandpur Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 18.01.2018 at about 10-00 AM, when he was going to work in his land, on the way Krishan Kumar alongwith his wife & Son obstructed his way and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Prakash Chand, I/O PS Shimla West.

2.   A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 18.01.2018 U/S 147, 148, 149, 323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Suraj Thakur S/o Sh. Kishan Thakur R/o Village Dared PO Anandpur Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 29 years stated therein that his neighbourer namely Kamal Kumar is constructing a retaining wall adjoining to his house. His father Kishan Kumar asked Kamal Kumar to stop the work. On this, Kamal Kumar scuffled with his father. When he reached on the spot and tried to release his father from his grip, at the same time Bhima Nand, Lalit, Ravinder, Ashish & Pramod also came there and beaten them brutally with wooden/iron sticks, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS Shimla West. Mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to destroy house

3.  A MISCHIEF BY FIRE WITH INTENT TO DESTROY HOUSE: Case FIR No. 10/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 18.01.2018 U/S 436 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pawan Kumar S/o Sh. Suresh Chand R/o Village Bharmoli PO Shivaan Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla HP that on the intervening night of 17/18.01.2018, some unknown person has put his house on fire with intention to destroy it. Due to fire, the approximate value of destroyed property is Rs. 50/60 thousands. The case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain.

4.   A THEFT: Case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 17.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sudesh Kumar S/o Sh. Mohan Singh R/o Village & PO Barthata Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla, HP alleging therein that on the intervening night of 08/09.01.2018, some unknown person has stolen away his Maruti Car No. HP10B-2256 alongwith all documents, parked outside his flat at Housing Board Colony Sanjauli Shimla.

5. During last 24 hours 314 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 149, fine realized Rs. 49,500/-, 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,000/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act & fine realised Rs. 5,000/-.
