1.        A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 60/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 11-04-13 on the report of Dy. SP (P) Dinesh Kumar that during patrolling/traffic checking along with staff at Mashobra Road near HIPA Gate he recovered 4.910 Kg Chars from the illegal possession of persons namely (1) Pankaj Verma S/o Sh. Bhoop Singh R/o Vill Chilla, PO Bharana, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, (2) Satya Nand Sharma S/o Sh. Dhani Ram Sharma R/o Vill Sari, PO & Teh Theog, Distt Shimla and (3) Govind S/o Sh. Padam Singh R/o Vill Kandi, PO Dharampur, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla.

ARREST OF ACCUSED PERSON & RECOVERY OF STOLEN PROPERTY

2.        A THEFT case FIR No. 61/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 12-04-13 U/S 379 IPC & 25 Telegraph Act on the report of HC Ramesh Chand I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla that on the bases of an information when he went to Sabzi Mandi, Dhalli, he found one drunken person named Om Pal S/o Sh. Ram Charan R/o Lachmi Niwas, Dhalli, Shimla with 2 pieces of cable wire. He told that he has stolen these pieces of wire near Dhalli tunnel. Accused person has been arrested. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand I/o PS Dhalli, Shimla.

3.        A BURGLARY case FIR No. 17/13 is registered at Police Station New Shimla on 12-04-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dhiraj Ahluwalia S/o Sh. R. C. Walia R/o Flat No. 26, SDA Flats, Block No-2, Sector-2, Phase-1, New Shimla, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 11/12-04-13 some unknown person has stolen away recharge coupon of Rs. 6,400/- and cash Rs. 18,300/- from his shop. Total cost of stolen property is Rs. 24,700/-(app). Case is being investigated by HC Roshan Lal I/O PS New Shimla.

4.        An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 64/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 11-04-13 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Harinder Singh S/o Sh. Tara Singh R/o House No. 47/3, Jutog Cantt, Shimla, alleging therein that on 11-04-13 at 8:10 PM when he was coming from Dhanda to tutu near Dhanda crossing he saw a person badly crushed by unknown Truck, which had died on the spot. The name of that deceased person is Sh. Rajinder Sandil S/o Sh. Krishan Chand R/o VPO Kanlog, Distt Shimla. Case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal I/o PP Jutogh.

5.        During last 24 hours 155 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, not any persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA Act is Rs. 36,200/-.

6.        On 11-04-13 one person namely Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Pammi Lal R/o Tausan Cottage, Jakhu, Shimla, has been arrested U/S 114(5) Police Act at Police Station East Shimla.

ARREST OF ACUSED PERSONS AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN PROPERTY

1. A CABLE THEFT CASE FIR No. 59/13 Dated 11.4.13 U/S 379 IPC & 25 of Telegraph Act has been registered at P.S. Dhalli on the statement of Sh. Narayan Dass S/O Lt. Sh. Roopur R/O Cheel Dhar PO Basantpur Tehsil Sunni A/P TM Telephone Exchange Durgapur alleging therein that on 10.4.13 at about 11 PM he was present in the Telephone Exchange and on che4cking found Badmain Dhar Exchange brokenkdown and he suspected that someone has cut down the telephone cable. He informed Police Post Sunni and also Sh. Bhoop Ram Pradhan GP Neen and some local people. On checking 50 Pair telephone cable about 800 mtrs was found stolen between Jubbar Nala to Badmain Dhar by some unknown persons. Investigation being conducted by ASI Vijay Kumar I/C PP Sunni. During the course of investigation  4 accused persons namely Madan @ Gullu S/O Sh. Om Prakash R/O Jadeog PO Nag Jubbar, Tehsil Theog age 24 years, Dinesh Kumar S/O Shyam Lal R/O Village Karyal PO Naag Jubbar, Theog, Bhajna Nand S/O Mast Ram R/O Jendal, PO Kayara Tehsil Theog District Shimla age 24 years and Sandeep Kumar S/O Sh. Goverdhan Dass R/O age Jubar Tehsil Theog District Shimla have been arrested and stolen property has been recovered from them.

2. A ND&PS case FIR No. 65/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 10-04-13 on the report of SHO/Inspector Manish Chauhan that on 10-04-13 during patrolling along with staff near Nirath at Kuridhar, he recovered 500 grm Chars from the illegal possession of Geeta Nand S/o Sh. Devinder Kumar R/o Vill Nirath, Teh Rampur, Distt Shima.

3.A THEFT case FIR No. 63/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 10-04-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Nek Ram S/o Sh. Tulsi Ram Sharma R/o C/o Narayan Cottage near Shiv Mandir, Summerhill, Shimla, alleging therein that some unknown person has stolen away 1 gold Chain and cash Rs. 33,500/- from his house. Total value of stolen property is Rs. 49,500/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Dutt I/c PP Summerhill.

4.On 10-04-13 Sh. Sohan Lal Rajta Informed this PS Rohru through Telephone that his cousion Jagdish Rajta residing as tenant of Sh. Bahdur Singh Ranta near ACC Park Rohru and his room was bolted from inside and not open the door, on this information SHO visit the vanew and check the room which was closed and door was opened in the presensce of brother of deceised Ranjeet and his uncle Sohan Lal and found deceised Jagdish Rajta S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Vuill Kupri, PO Pujarli-2, Teh Rohru age 46 hanged with the fan. After postmortem dead body haded over his family.

5.On 10.04.2013 at about 2.30 PM Sh. Virender Jaret AAO LIC Department reported through telephone that Aera Home Chhota Shimla, one person is not opening the door of his house. On this information HC Prakash Chand-212 with staff visited the spot and opened the door forcibly and found the Pumma Chhering Thakur S/O Sh. Paljang Thakur at present Manager LIC was unconscious lying on the bed. With the help of people he was taken to IGMC for treatment where he was declared dead by doctor. The postmortem of deceased was conducted at IGMC Shimla and after postmortem his dead body was handed over to the son of deceased.

6.During last 24 hours 218 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 04 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA Act is Rs. 27,900/-.

ARREST OF ACUSED PERSONS AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN PROPERTY

THEFT CASE PROPERTY RECOVERED

1.      A theft case FIR No. 39/13 u/s 379 IPC and 25 Telegraph Act is registered at Police Station Theog on 10.04.2013 on the complaint of Sh. Om Prakash S/O Late Sh. Mast Ram R/O Matli PO Kyar Tehsil alleging therein that on 09.04.2013 at about 10.45 PM he saw fire in the Matli Nullaha. He suspected that someone is burning  multi cable in the nullaha. He informed the police and two persons namely Hari Prasad S/O Dilu Prasad and Padam Bahadur Khatri  S/O Man Bahadur  were found burning telephone cable wire and 16.200 gm wire were recovered from them. Both accused persons have been arrested.

 

THEFT CASE PROPERTY RECOVERED

2.      A THEFT case FIR No. 62/2013 dated 10.4.2013 U/S 379 IPC registered at PS West on the statement of Sh. Narinder Singh Chauhan S/O Sh. Kali Ram R/O VPO & Tehsil Shillai Distt. Sirmour HP. alleging therein that for the night of 09-04-2013 he was staying in Boileauganj with his friend Gyar Singh Negi. His luggage and some clothes were in his car No. HP-17-5584 Zen Estilo and the vehicle was parked in the rest house ground. During intervening night of 9/10.04.2013, some unknown person broke the back glass of his car and Two other vehicles and stole away one travel Bag, Two blankets, some clothes etc. from his car, One stereo & card reader from vehicle NO. HP 01K-8547 and One amplifier from Vehicle No. HP 09C-1014. The accused person has been arrested and case property has been recovered.

3.      A BURGLARY case FIR No. 77/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 09-04-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Krishna Singh W/o Sh. Avdhesh Kumar Singh R/o Indu Niwas, Lower Kaithu, Shimla, alleging therein that when her uncle Sh. Rajinder Thakur had been to UP for vacation, one Sh. Anil Kumar informed her that some unknown person has stolen away 1 gold Chain, 1 finger ring, 1 gold Kundel and cash Rs. 30,000 from the house of her uncle. The case is being investigated by HC Amar IO PP Lakkar Bazar.

4.      A HURT case FIR No. 78/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 10-04-13 U/S 324, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Roop Lal R/o Khadi Ashram, Lakkar Bazar, Shimla, alleging therein that on 09-04-13 at 8:30 PM three persons namely Arjun, Arjun and Goldi beat him near Sher-e-Punjab, Naaz Shimla. Case is being investigated by HC Anil IO PS Sadar.

CRIME REPORT 09 APRIL

1.        A ND&PS case FIR No. 39/13 registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 09-04-13 on the report of ASI Dev Raj I/o PS Kumarsain that during patrolling/traffic checking near Cheel curve he recovered 600 gm Chars during the checking of one HRTC Bus No. HP-06A-7532 route Karana to Chandigarh. But there is not anyone claim for the above packet.

2.        A HURT case FIR No. 38/13 registered at Police Station Theog on 08-04-13 U/S 325 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chet Ram S/o Ram Dass R/o Vill Dehna, PO Cheog, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 22-03-13 when he came back to his home from Cheog, one person named Nitu S/o Sh. Tulsi Ram R/o Vill Karyal, PO Cheog, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla beat him without any reason, due to this he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain I/c PP Fagu.

3.        An ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY OF OTHERS case FIR No. 13/13 registered at Police Station Chirgaon on 09-04-13 U/S 336, 504, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Late Sh. Khushi Ram R/o Vill Barara, PO Arhal, Teh Rohru, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 08-04-13 one person named Chuni Lal R/o Vill Gharshal, Teh Chirgaon, Distt Shimla, threatened him with Gun and fired one cartridge in the air. Above Chuni Lal abused and threatened him with dire consequences. Case is being investigated by SI/SHO Chander Shekhar.

4.        A HURT case FIR No. 31/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 08-03-13 U/S 323, 325, 34 IPC on the complaint of Mr. Satish Kumar R/o Kagra Niwas, Nav Bahar, Shimla, alleging therein that on 15-03-13 when he was along with his son named Rohit Kumar, his neighbor Mr. Jasbir Singh's wife along with her son and daughter quarreled with both of them, on this Rohit sustained injury and on the bases of MLC of case is being investigated by ASI Sehdev Dutt I/o PS East Shimla.

5.        An attempt to murder case FIR No. 64/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 08-04-13 U/S 307, 506 IPC on the statement of Govind Gupta S/o Sh. Raj Kumar Gupta R/o VPO Nogli, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 08-04-13 at 8:00 PM when he was standing in his verandah, his uncle Harish Kumar told him that why had he thrown dirty water in his verandah. On this there was a hot exchange between them and in the mean time the brother of complainant Manoj Kumar reached there and Harish Gupta stabbed him with knife on chest and thereafter father of complainant Raj Kumar came there who was also stabbed with knife by Harish Gupta on stomach. Both Raj Kumar and Manoj have been referred to IGMC Shimla for treatment.

CRIME REPORT 8 APRIL

1.     A case FIR No. 74/13 under section 13.3.67 gambling act is registered at Police Station Sadar on 07.04.2013 on the report of HC Vinod Kumar No. 39 that oon 07.04.2013, when he was on patrolling with staff at Ganj Road Shimla, they recovered Rs. 400/- from the possession of Kamal Kumar R/O Makan No. 4, MC Line below Cart Road Shimla, Rajesh Kumar R/O Dhara cow shed No. 3 Krishna Nagar Shimla, Pratap Singh R/O Makan No. 20 MC Line Ghora Sarai below Cart Road and Verinder Kumar R/O Near Cow Shed Krishna Nagar Shimla who were plying cards on bet.

2.     A case FIR No. 76/13 under section 13.3.67 gambling act is registered at Police Station Sadar on 07.04.2013 on the report of HC Anil Kumar IO PS Sadar that on 07.04.2013 when he was on patrolling duty with staff at Ganj Road Shimla at about 2.30 PM, Rs. 5170/- were recovered from the possession of Tej Singh R/O Summer Kot Rohru, Ashok Kumar R/O MC Line Cart Road Shimla, Shyam Singh village Dhanmandri, Theog and Mohinder kumar R/O Mahinder Cottage Kasumpti Shimla who were playing card on bet.

3.      An Encroachment of forest Land case FIR No. 61/2013 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 06/04/13 U/S 447 IPC & 33 IF Act on the statement of Sh. Karam Chand Rang officer Jubber Hatti alleging there in that an unauthorized road has been constructed by the villagers of Rug & Shalog in the forest land during night.  

4.    A Vehicle Accident case fir No. 61/13 dt 8-4-13 u/s 279, 337 ipc is registered at
Police Station Rampur on the report of  of HC Sunil Kumar No 146 I/O PS Rampur that a motor cycle a/f met with an accident near Khaneri due to rash and negligent driving by  Ram Chander Village Ghatun Tehsil Sanghrah Distt Sirmour HP in which rider sustained injuries. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the rider of motorcycle.

5.    A Burglary case FIR No. 62/13 dt 8-4-13 u/s 457, 380 ipc is registered at Police Station Rampur on the application of Molak Ram S/O Heru Ram Village Kophar Dhar Po Jahu S/T Nankhari Distt Shimla alleging therein that during intervening night of 5/6.04.2013, some un known person stole away 9000 rupees from his house. Case is being investigated by asi Hari Singh I/C PP Nankhari.

6.     A Vehicle Accident case FIR No. 63/13 dt 8-4-13 u/s 279,337 ipc is registered at Police Station Rampur on the application of Murki Lal S/0 Sibu Ram Village Dhadunja Po Khamedi S/T Nankhari Distt Shimla that on 8-4-13 at 11.30 am when he was going towards Rampur bus stand and reached near Ayurvedic Hospital Rampur,  car No. HP 06-0650 hit him and ran away from the spot. The case is being investigated by i/c pp city Rampur.

7.     A Rioting case fir No 11/13 dated 8/04/2013 u/s 147/149/447/427/506 ipc is registered at PS Chirgaon on the complaint of Sh. Joginder Singh S/O Sh Gian Chand Ro Village Jabal Teh Chirgaon alleging therein that Bhadermani W/O Puran Chand, Puran Chand S/O Kamla Nand, Babli And Babita D/O Puran Chand, Rakesh And Jagdish S/O Puran Chand And Kiran W/O Rakesh All R/O Village Jabal Teh. Chirgaon unlawfully entered his land and destroyed the wheat crop and also threatened them with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir Singh io PS Chirgaon.

8.     During last 24 hours 111 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 10 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Product Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of Challans under MV& COPTA Act is Rs. 17700/-.

ACCUSED ARRESTED AND STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED

1. A THEFT Case FIR No. 60/13 Dated 06-04-2013 U/S 379 IPC is registered at Police Station Rampur on the statement of Sh. Mam Raj Sharma S/O Sh Madan Singh Sharma I/C Gangdhari Hydro Power Project Pvt Ltd Jogni Teh Rampur Distt Shimla HP Stated That during the intervening night of 03/04-04-2013, some unknown person stole away 5 qtl. Sariya from the project site at Dhar Kashapat. The total cost of stolen property  is Rs. 25000/-. During the course of investigation stolen property has been recovered Roshan Lal R/o Vill Pat PO Kashapat Teh Rampur Distt Shimla. Accused has been arrested. [.] Total cost of stolen property is Rs 25000/.

2. A burglary case FIR No.58/13 dated 06-04-2013 U/S  454,380 IPC has been registered at Police Station Dhalli on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Verma C/O Asha Sadan Near Basin Building Sanjauli. alleging therein that on 6-4-2013, he went to his duty. Around 12.00 PM his wife went to Sanjauli market for some shopping. At 1.45 PM, when she came back home and opened the lock of the house she found that somebody had opened the window of house and entered the house by breaking the grills of the kitchen and sway Mangal sutra of 4.5 tola, one locket of gold and Rs 10,000/- the case is being investigated by by ASI Manohar Lal I/O PS Dhalli.
