CRIME REPORT 20 SEPTEMBER

1.       A THEFT case FIR No. 176/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 20-09-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Lal Singh S/o Sh. Karam Singh R/o Vill Chharsu, PO Mohal, Teh & Distt Kullu, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 19/20-09-13 some unknown person has stolen away his vehicle Maruti Van No. HP-66-2496 parked near Cancer Hospital road IGMC Shimla. Case is being investigated by HC Rajpal I/o PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla. ACCUSED PERSON HAS BEEN APPREHENDED AND STOLEN VEHICLE HAS BEEN RECOVERED.

2.       A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 175/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 19-09-13 U/S 341, 143, 147, 149 IPC on the report of ASI Jasbir Singh I/o PS Sadar Shimla that on 19-09-13 some workers of SFI & CITU unlawfully assemble near CTO Shimla under the leader ship of Tikender Pawar, Kuldeep Tanwar , Kapil Bhardwaj , Ram Dyal Dhalta, Khushi Ram Verma, Puneet Dhanta, Dhani Ram & Surinder and obstruct the road from both side. Case is being investigated by ASI Jasbir Singh I/o PS Sadar Shimla .

3.       A HURT case FIR No. 39/13 is registered at Police Station Kotkhai on 20-09-13 U/S 325 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sunder Sharma S/o Sh. Prakesh Chand R/o Vill Alawong, PO Devgarh, Teh Kotkhai, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that one person named Jagdish S/o Sh. Devi Dass R/o Alawong beat him, due to which he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by Om Krishan I/o PS Kotkhai.

4.       An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 40/13 is registered at Police Station Kotkhai on 20-09-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the report of HC Dev Krishan that today on 20-09-13 one vehicle Pick-up No. HP-63A-1561 met with accident near Chhol and fell down 70 mtr. From the road, due to negligent driving by driver Karan. In this accident driver Karan died on the spot and one person name Laxman sustained injury.

5.       During last 24 hours 171 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under mv act, 07 challaned under copta and 01 challaned under police act. the total amount of compounding fee of challans under mv act and copta is rs. 31,400/-.

1.    (Accused Arrested & Recover Stolen Truck) A THEFT case FIR No. 45/13 is registered at Police Station Jhakhri on 18-09-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Netar Singh R/o Vill Dadhan, PO Bohali, Teh Dharampur, Distt Solan, alleging therein that he is driver of vehicle Tata Ecomate Truck No. HP-63-2160, when he parked his above vehicle near Jhakhri market, his cleaner named Anil Kumar stolen away vehicle. Case is being investigated by ASI Narender Singh I/o PS Jhakhri. During investigation accused person has been arrested & Truck has been recovered.

2.    A CRIMINAL TRESPASS case FIR No. 186/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 18-09-13 U/S 447, 504, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Hazari Lal S/o Late Sh. Brij Lal R/o VPO Shoghi, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that he was the owner his shop at Shoghi, when he repair his shop, persons namely Hardyal S/o Sh. Chint Ram, Renu W/o Hardyal and Sujata D/o Chint Ram came there abusing him and threw goods here & there. Case is being investigated by HC Maan Singh I/o PS West.

3.    A MURDER case FIR No. 38/13 is registered at Police Station Kotkhai on 18-09-13 U/S 302 IPC on the complaint of Ishwar Dass S/o Sh. Shishu Ram R/o Vill Kanral, PO Kalbog, Teh Kotkhai, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that he has one Nepali person as domestic servant named Dalip Kumar S/o Sh. Bir Bahadur R/o Baragaon, Ward No-7, Anchal Rapti, Distt Salyan, Nepal. On 17-09-13 above Dalip went to work along with Ashok Sagaik and on 18-09-13 at 7:00/7:30 AM his brother Mahender Rajta told him that someone killed above Dalip near Kanral Nala and his dead body lying there. He has doubt that some unknown person killed Dalip. Case is being investigated by SI/SHO Gauri Dutt Sharma I/o PS Kotkhai.

4.    An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 129/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 19-09-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mahender Singh S/o Sh. Shiv Singh R/o Vill Kelara, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 18-09-13 at 7:30 PM when he at his home one vehicle JCB No. HP-09C-1832 working in Kilara Danak and during work above JCB fell down into the Dhanak. In this accident two persons namely Kaku, Kushal S/o Sh. Gain Singh R/o Kilra died on spot and  one Surender S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Kilra sustained injury. Case is being investigated by ASI Joginder Singh I/o PS Theog.

5.    A HURT case FIR No. 87/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 18-09-13 U/S 323, 325 IPC on the complaint of Karan Sharma R/o Pine Lodge Estate, Chhota Shimla, alleging therein that on 12-08-13 at 8:15 PM when he went towards Chhota Shimla from Kasumpti, he heard some argument between taxi driver and other persons, after that they return back to Chhota Shimla Bazar and attacked him. Case is being investigated by HC Narender I/o PP Kasumpti.

6.    A HURT case FIR No. 88/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 18-09-13 U/S 323, 325, 504 IPC on the complaint of Ashish S/o Sh. Jagat Ram R/o Vill Dochi, PO Beolia, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 12-08-13 when he went to Chhota Shimla from Kasumpti, near Chhota Shimla he told to Karan to take side on this Karan stop his vehicle and beat him, due to which he sustained inquiry. Case is being investigated by LHC Kamlesh I/o PS East Shimla.

7.    An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 174/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 18-09-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Balak Ram S/o Late Sh. Nag Chand Sharma Employee Hotel Crystal Palace near Lift, alleging therein that on 19-09-13 at 12:15 AM when he was going to Old ISBT Shimla near Local Bus Stand Shimla one vehicle Alto car No. HP-32A-2262 hit him, due to he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand I/o PS Sadar Shimla.

8.    During last 24 hours 231 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 10 challaned under COPTA and 01 challaned under Police Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act and COPTA is Rs. 33,100/-.

CRIME REPORT 18 SEPTEMBER

1. A  GAMBLING  ACT. Case FIR No .65/13 is registered  at  Rohru on 19.09.13 U/S 13-3/67 Gambling Act  on the ruka of SI  SHO Chander Shakher  SHO PS Rohru, alleging therein that   the Monal Hotel Room No 108 three person's  namely  Rajesh Kumar S/o Murat Singh R/o Khashdhar Teh Chirgaon  Distt  Shimla, Jai Pal S/o Nain Singh R/o Tailer  PO Thagar Teh Chopal distt Shimla , Rish Pal S/o Michar Sain  R/o Higori  P.O Rohal Teh Chirgaon distt Shimla  found gambling. Cash amounting Rs.  15870/ and playing card recover from in this possession. The Case is  being  investigated by  SHO PS Rohru.   

2.   A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT  Case FIR No.127/13 is registered at PS Theog on 17.09.13 U/S 341,323,506  IPC on the complaint of Sh.Vinod Kumar S/o Sh  Surat Ram R/o Village Khnewali Tehsil Theog distt Shimla, alleging  therein that on 17.09.13 at  2:30 PM he is going to own shop when  he  reached  near Muskan  Dhaba and met Sohan  Lal S/o Sh. Mathu Ram  R/o Gajedi  Tehsil Theog distt Shimla.,  they restrained his way and started quarrelling with him  and threatened him with dire consequences. The case being investigated by ASI  Kamal  Dev  I/C  PP Chhailla.

3.  A THEFT Case  FIR  No.128/13 is registered  at  PS  Theog on 08.09.13  U/S 379, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh Mahender Sharma S/o  Late Devi Ram Sharma R/o VPO Devthi Tehsil Theog A/P Chowkidar  HPSEB  store Theog distt Shimla, alleging therein that   on 18.09.13 at 5-30 AM when he was sleeping  he heard a noise. Some  unknown  person  stolen  iron  plates. The Case is being investigated  by HC Ramesh Chand  No.191 I/O PS Theog  Shimla.

4.   AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No 109/13 is registered  at  PS Kumarsain on 18.09.13  U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Mukesh Kapil S/o Sh Hem Raj R/o VPO Bhawanager Tehsil Nichar Distt Kinnaur alleging therein that  on 17.09.13 he along with Raj Kumar, Balbir Negi were returned back to Nichar from Chandigarh.When he reached near Barubag NH22 Near Narkanda he saw a Ambulance was stopped their on NH22 and vehicle No HP-26A-1270 met with an accident their and rolled down in deep about 200 mtr. In above vehicle 2 persons sstained  injuryies  namely Ashutosh, Jitender Negi.  The Case is being Investigated By ASI Lachhi Ram I/o P.S Kumarsain.

5.    A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT  Case  FIR No. 86/13  is registered at  PS  East  Shimla  on 18.09.13 U/S 341, 353, 332, 147, 149, 143, 504 , 506  IPC & 3  PDP Act. on the ruka  of  Insp./SHO Vikaram Chauhan, alleging  therein that on 18.09.13 when he alongwith police staff were on law and order duty at Tenzin Hospital Panthaghati, then about 100 CITU workers gathered and started slogns  against HP  Police  Deptt .  They were  informed to l leave  the spot  and they started quarrelling  with  Police  Staff and also broke  Mirror of  Police  Vehicle,  in this incident some  police official got   injured. The case is being investigated  by  SI Shankar Addl. SHO PS East Shimla.

6.  During last  24 hours   298  vehicles were challaned  by Shimla   Police   under MV Act . , 08  persons were challaned  under COTPA (Cigarette &  Other Tobacco Act 2005),  01 challaned under Police Act.& 01 challend  under Mining  Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans    under MV Act is Rs. 32,800/-

CRIME REPORT 17 SEPTEMBER

1.     A BURGLARY  Case  FIR No 173/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 16.09.13 U/S 454,380 IPC on the complaint of  Sh. Manoj Kumar Set No 4 Block-A Doctors Residence Corestofen Estate Lakkar Bazar Shimla A/P Profeser Ortho Pedic Surgery IGMC Shimla alleging therein that on 16/9/13 his daughter left his house at about 10.30AM and he came for lunch from IGMC Hospital at 1.30 PM. During this period some unknown person broken the Window and entered in the room and stolen away Two bangles of Gold, two pair of gold earring, one pair of Gold ring, Chain Diamond, three female rings, three male rings , two ear rings ,Nose Pin and Currency Note 3900.  The Case is being Investigated ASI Lachhmi Singh I/O P.S Sadar Shimla.

2. PUNISHMENT FOR VOLUNTARILY CAUSING HURT case FIR No 44/13 is registered at  PS  Jhakri on 16.09.13 U/S 323,325 IPC on the statement of Smt. Palu Devi W/o Sh. Sher Singh Vill. Badhal P.O Jeori Tehsil  Rampur Distt. Shimla age 45 years, alleging therein that on 15.09.13 at about 6 PM one person, He don't know his name, who came into my hotel & demand a one packet of Kurkura,  He told him wait for some time thereafter he started to slapped on his face. In this incidents he  sustained injury left side of face & right side of on head. The Case is being investigated by y HC Gopal I/O PP Jeori. 

3.    A THEFT BY CLERK OR SERVANT OF PROPERTY IN POSSESSION OF MASTER   Case FIR No. 47/13 is registered at  PS Chopal  on 16.9.13 U/S 381 IPC on the complaint of  Satpal S/o Sh. Narayan  Singh  R/o  Vill  Badhna PO & Tehsil Chopal  Distt. Shimla alleging therein that  on 16.9.13 his servant namely Vipin has stolen one necklace, One Gold Chain ,Four Rings, Ten  Nose Pins  Two Pair Bales & One Lac. from  his home. The Case is being investigated by ASI  Ram  Gopal  I/O PS Chopal.

4.      AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No 185/13 is registered at PS West on 17.09.13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of   HC. Hitender Singh No.120 I/O PS West Shimla alleging therein that  on  17.09.13 at about 1.20 AM  A Pik-Up bearing  No.HP09A-3379 on  its the way Shimla to Solan. The  above vehicle  reached   at  near MLA Hostel  met  with  an accident as  a  result  two person namely Sonu driver of vehicle  and  Sh Parma Nand     sitting  in  his vehicle  got injured.  The case is being investigated by HC Hitender Singh  I/ O PS West Shimla 

5. AN  Excise Act.  Case  FIR No. 155/13  is registered at  PS  Dhalli on 17.09.13 U/S 39/33/13 H.P Excise Act, on  the  rukka of ASI Vijay Kumar I/C PP Suni PS Dhalli  Shimla, alleging therein that  on 16.09.13 when he was present  on Nakabandi duty alongwith staff near Basantpur at about 11.30 PM on M/Car No. HP52A-3900 came towards Shimla. After searching   the  said vehicle  found 16 boxes of County Liquor Marka H.P No.-1 has  been recovered  from the  Car. The   Case is being investigated  by ASI  Vijay Kumar  I/C PP Suni PS  Dhalli  Shimla.

6.     A THEFT  Case   FIR  No. 41/13 is registered  PS  Nerwa  on 17.09.13 U/S 379 IPC  and 41,42  IF Act. ,on the ruka of SI/SHO Sandeep Kumar ,alleging therein that on 16.09.13at about 11:15 PM when he  was on naka duty alongwith Staff  at near  HP  PWD  Rest House Nerwa. He recovered source chide timber loge in vehicle No. HP-51B-0282 Eicher , driver run away from the spot and one accused person namely Akber Ali S/o Saderdeen R/o Tarshanu P.O Nerwa arrested on spot. The case is being investigated by self SI/SHO Sandeep Kumar PS Nerwa

1.      A  CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST BY PUBLIC SERVANT Case FIR No.154/13 on 16.09.2013 U/S 409 IPC on the application of Sh. Dila Ram Joint controller(F&A) HP Insititute of Public Administration Fairlawns Shimla-12 , alleging therein that some known person has stolen away one computer( monitor, CPU, Keyboard & Spekears) on the intervening night of 14/15.09.13. The Case is being investigated by HC Ashish Kumar No.58 I/O P.P Mashobra P.S Dhalli Shimla.

2.                A  BURGLARY  Case FIR  No. 184/13 is  registered  at PS  West  Shimla  on 16.09.13  U/S 457,  380 IPC  on the  statement of  Sh. Mahant Ram Bansal S/o Late Sh. Nurattom Ram  R/o  Vill.  Bhurjni Tehsill Arki  Distt Solan  A/P  JTO  Telephone Exchange  Ghanhati , alleging  therein that on 14/15.09.13 in intervening night some unknown culprits broken the  lock  of telephone  exchange's  room and stolen  away two batteries  12 Volts and  6 batteries  Cell  HBL  2.2. Approximately  total  value  is worth  Rs.  42,000/-. The Case is being investigated  by ASI Kundan Lal I/C PP Dhami.

3.               AN  INQUEST REPORT  on 16-09-13 one Kuldeep  Kumar S/o Sh.  Daulat  Ram   Vill.  Marala  PO.  Darkali  Tehsil  Rampur Distt. Shimla HP age 34 Yrs. Has been died due to fall from second floor of the Aamr  Singh  building  at Taklech. During the inquiry it has to  came  in  notice that  Kuldeep  Kumar @ Bittu has  consumed  alcohol  last  night and was under its influence. When  he went to 2^nd floor of the building and he fell down and he got injury over his head and other part of body. As per the statement of witnesses no suspicion has been raised out by the member of his family. Proceeding  U/S 174 Crpc  is  being carried out by  SHO PS  Rampur.

1.    AN ACCIDENT  Case FIR No. 84/13 is registered at PS East on 15.09.13 U/S 279 ,337 IPC  on  the complaint of Sh. Rakesh Kumar  S/o Sh Krishan Lal R/o  Anil Khachi Building IAS Colony  Sargheen, alleging therein that Smt  Kabita Negi  while   driving back her Car No. HP07D-0277 has lost  control on her Car and fell  down. In the  incident  she  sustained injuries. The  Case being  investigated by  ASI Ram Lal  I/C PP Kasumpti.                         

2.             A THEFT Case FIR No.153/13 is registered at PS  Dhalli on 15.09.13 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Hem Dass  S/o Late Sh. Mathku Ram R/o Village Sanyana P.O Thaila Tehsil  & Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that  on  12.09.13 he parked his vehicle M/Car No. HP03-3932 near Village Sanyana. When he came to the parked place on 13.09.13, said vehicle found missing.  The Case is being investigated by HC Daljeet Singh No.122 I/O P.P Mashobra P.S Dhalli Shimla.

3.         A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case  FIR No 125/13 is registered  at  PS Theog  on 15.09.13 U/S 341,323 IPC on the statement of  Sh  Anup  Kumar S/o Udhi Ram R/o  Village Nahol P.O Tiyai Tehsil  Theog Distt Shimla, alleging  therein that on 14.09.13  he came from  Dharech toward Nahol about 6 PM when he reached at Suhri Dhank (Jagal) know person through cloth his head in back side. He saw the back side two person  standing  nakabposh obstructed his path and beaten him.  The case is being  investigated by  HC Het Ram I/O PP Fagu.

4.            A THEFT Case   FIR No 172/13 is registered at  PS  Sadar Shimla  on  14.09.13 U/S 379 IPC  on the complainant of Sh. Mohinder Lal  S/o Sh. Bishan Dutt Sharma R/o Vill. Baniana , P.O Kyartu , Tehsil & PS Theog Distt Shimla (H.P) alleging  therein that  on 14.09.13  he has booked an  suspected culprit  in IGMC Shimla who indulged  in  pocket  theft  as per CCTV Camera Footage  installed  in IGMC Shimla.  The  name of suspect culprit  known as  Prakash Chand S/O Late. Sh. Dass Ram  R/o Vill. Majakhar , P.O Jarol , Tehsil Thunag, PS Gohar , Distt. Mandi (H.P) A/P Kala Niwas Dhalli Shimla. The Case is being investigated by  HC Amar Dutt NO. 137 I/O PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla.

CRIME REPORT 14 SEPTEMBER

1.      A BURGLARY  Case  FIR  No 171/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 13.09.13 U/S 454,380,511 IPC on the complaint of Sh Surinder Kumar S/o Sh Ravi Chand  A/P Servant  of Sh Ajay Bhandari , Silvan Hall-B Long wood Lakkar Bazar Shimla.  alleging therein that on 13.09.13  he left his house at about 2.30 pm  towards  Lakkar Bazar for his personal work  and returned back at about 3.15 pm. During this period some unknown person broken the glasses of front door and entered in the room and attempted to break open the Godraj Almira. The Case is being  investigated by HC Amar  Dutt No 137 I/O P.P L/Bazar Shimla.

2.    A ND & PS Case  FIR  No. 83/13 is registered  at  PS East on 14.09.13 U/S 21-61-85 ND & PS  Act on the  rukka of  ASI  Het Ram  I/O  PS East  Shimla, alleging therein that  he was departure for patrolling  alongwith staff when they were  reached near Mega Mart  Chhota Shimla a person namely Prabal Kainthla S/o Sh Ajay Kainthla R/o VPO Narkanda Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla was smoking the cigarettes when ASI searched the pocket of above person's jacket recovered tablets of Nitrosun 100 Tab, Spasmocip Plus 72 Tab. & accused person arrested. The  Case is being investigated by ASI Het Ram I/O PS East Shimla.

3.    AN ACCIDENT  Case FIR  No 123/13 is registered at  PS  Theog on 14.09.13 U/S  279, 337  IPC  on the rukka ASI  Santokh  Singh  I/O  PS  Theog   Distt  Shimla, alleging therein that  on  14.09.13 an information accident received  from  Civil Hospital  Theog.   ASI  Santokh Singh alongwith staff reached at  Civil Hospital Theog  for  inquiry  one person namely vikas @ vikky S/o Shayam  Lal  Sharma R/o  Village  Dhnoth  P.O.& Tehsil  Theog  Distt  Shimla admitted in  C.H  Theog. During medical examination as per report of doctor  injured  person unfit  give the statement. As per MLC  report and spot inspection this accident  occur due to rash and negligent driving of know vehicle. The Case is being  investigated by  ASI  Santokh Singh  I/O  PS  Theog .

4.     A ND & PS  Case FIR No. 46/13  is registered  at PS Chopal on  14.9.13 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Pratap Singh I/O PS Chopa, alleging therein that on 13.9.13 during patrolling and checking with police party & forest worker Padam Ram at about 3.40 PM when they reached at Village Shadai (Jhina) they found 1809 cannabis plants of illegal cultivation in the fields (Land) of Sahi Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village Shadai ( Jhina). The Case is being investigated by ASI Partap Singh I/O PS Chopal

5.   A PUNISHMENT FOR CRIMINAL TRESPASS  Case   FIR  No. 44/13 is registered at  PS Jubbal on 14.09.13 U/S 447,427 IPC  on the  report of Sh. Ram Saran  S/o  Late Sh. Nika Ram  R/o VPO Bolard   Tehsil   Jubbal &  Distt  Shimla, alleging therein that  a person namely Dula Ram S/o SH. Surat Ram R./o Dadhi P.O. Dadi Kunsa entered his  field on the  intervening  night 13/14.09.13 and  cut  down  29/30  trees of apple (18/20 yrs).The  Case is being  investigated  by HC Gopal  I/O PP  S. Nagar.
