Crime Report on 29th March 2019

1.  AN ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 71/19 has been registered at PS West on 29.03.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act registered on the rukka of HC Susheel I/O SIU Shimla alleging therein that today i.e. on 29.03.2019 at about 02-00 PM, during patrolling, collection of intelligence & Nakabandi at Shoghi Barrier, Shimla, one Swift Car No. HP03C-5716 which was on the way towards Shimla from Solan, stopped by them for Checking. During the search, 8.19 Gram Chitta (Heroin) has been recovered from the possession of above car driver namely Ashish Negi s/o Sh. Visheshar Negi R/o Village & PO Chaura, Tehsil Nichar, District Kinnaur, HP, age 21 years. The accused has been arrested by the police and further investigation is being carried out by HC Neel Kamal No. 213, I/O PS West Shimla.

2.  A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 55/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.03.2019 U/S 13 Publlic Act on the rukka of HC Rajesh I/O PS Theog alleging there in that on 28.03.2019 he was on patrolling duty at Theog Bazaar and he got seret information regarding playing of gambling. On the basis of information he raided near Joshi Building and recovered Rs 59,700 from the possession of four persons. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh I/O PS Theog.   

3.  TO CIRCULATES RUMOUR OR REPORT: Case FIR No. 56/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.03.2019 U/S 505(1) (B) & 505 (2) IPC on the complaint of Sub division Megistrate Theog alleging therein that on 28.03.2019 a person namely Gyan Hetta Vice President of of INTCU has posted a fake post on his facebook account to promoting enmity between different groups on the ground of language etc. and his act may disturb the peace and harmony in the area. The case is being investigated by I/O of PS Theog.

4.  AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 33/19 has been registered at PS Chopal U/S 39(1)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Virender Kumar I/O PS Chopal alleging therein that on 28.03.2019 during patrolling along with recovered 11 bottles of Country liquor from the possession of Chander Sharma S/o Ishwar Dutt Sharma R/o Village Majhotli, Tehsil & PS Chopal. Case is being investigated by ASI Virender Kumar I/O PS Chopal.

5.  AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 34/19 has been registered at PS Chopal U/S 39(1)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of Inspector Hari Singh SHO PS Chopal  alleging therein that on 28.03.2019 during patrolling along with staff recovered 09 bottles of Country liquor from the possession of Satish Kumar S/o Sh. Mangat Ram R/o village Bahal P/o Dhabas Tehsil & PS Chopal. The case is being investiagated by Inspector Hari Singh SHO PS Chopal. 

6.  AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 30/19 has been registered at PS Rohru on 28.03.2019 U/S 39(1)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Bhagirath I/C PP Tikkar alleging therein that on 28.03.2019 during patrolling alongwith staff at New Badshal he recovered 24 bottles of English liquor from the possession of  Kamal Krishan S/O Sh. Daulat Ram R/O Vill Khalawan PO Pujarli NO 3 Teh. Rohru District Shimla The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath I/C PP Tikkar.

7.  AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 35/19 has been registered at PS Chopal on  29.03.2019 U/s 39(1)a HP Excise Act has on the rukka of Inspector Hari Singh SHO PS Chopal alleging therein that during patrolling with staff  at Maraog he recovered 21 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Ravinder Thakur S/o Prakesh R/o Village Dada, PO & Tehsil Dali, Nepal A/P C/o Kuldeep Bragta R/o Village Taprach PO Maraog, Tehsil Chopal District Shimla. The Case is being investigated by Inspector Hari Singh.

8.  AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 36/19 has been registered at PS Chopal on 29.03.2019 U/S 39(1)a HP Excise on the rukka of Inspector  Hari Singh SHO PS Chopal alleging therein that during investigation of case FIR No. 35/19 he got a secret information and recovered 40 bottles of Lahan & 4 bottles illicit liquor from the possession of Veer Bhadur S/o Balwan R/o Village Porsa PO & Tehsil Laha, District Jajarkot, Nepal A/p C/o Deepak Bragta R/o Village Taprach PO Maraog, Tehsil Chopal, Distt Shimla. The Case is being investigated by Insp. Hari Singh SHO PS Chopal, Shimla.

9.  During last 24 hours 608 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 255, 25 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

Follow Up

1.   Accused Ashish Negi s/o Sh. Visheshar Negi R/o Village & PO Chaura, Tehsil Nichar, District Kinnaur, HP, age 21 years, arrested in case FIR No 71/19 dated 29.03.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS West is being produced before Ld court on today.
