Crime Report on June 19, 2018

1.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 111/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 18.06.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the ASI Om Garg, I/C PP Junga, Shimla alleging therein that on 18.06.2018 at about 06-30 PM, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the Daily Needs shop of Sh. Daleep Rana S/o Sh. Hukkam Chand R/o Village Dublu, District Shimla, age 35 years and Recovered 48 Bottles of Country liquor & 04 Bottles of Beer from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Garg, I/C PP Junga, Shimla.  

2.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 53/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon, Shimla on 18.06.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 18.06.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Village Magwani. At about 05-30 PM, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the shop of Sh. Bishan Dass S/o Sh. Noori R/o Village Magwani PO Jangla Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 63 years and Recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Santra No.-1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Babu Ram, SHO PS Chirgaon, Shimla.  

3.   AN ACCIDENT:  Case FIR No. 74/18 has been registered at PS East on 18.06.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Rajat Vohra S/o Sh. Anil Vohra R/o Housing board colony Mehli, Type-III Set No. 18 stated therein that on 18.06.2018 about 02.25 PM, when he was going to Panthaghati , at the same time one vehicle No.  HP07D-0609 (Duster) came rashly with negligent driving and hit his vehicle No. HP52A-3726. In this accident he sustained injuries.

4.   During last 24 hours 353 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 192 fine realized Rs. 79,400/- and 18 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,000/-

Follow up

1.    Accused Shanta Kumar S/o Sh. Jeet  Singh R/o Vill. Latheri, P.O Banthal, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, Age- 29 years, arrested in case FIR No. 111/18 Dt. 16.06.2018 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is being produced before Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Harwinder Pal S/o Sh. Satish Kumar R/o House NO. A-21 Green Estate Barwala Road Derabassi, District Mohali, Punjab arrested in case FIR No. 80/18 Dt. 11.06.2018 u/s 376 IPC at PS Rohru remanded in Police Custody upto 21.06.2018.

3.    Accused Daleep Kumar S/o Sh. Asha Ram R/o Vill. Sanarsa, PO Karote Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 58/18 U/S 354,354D,506 IPC at PS Jhakri, today is being produced before Ld. Court.
