An Excise Act: Case FIR No 04/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 09.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Jhakri, alleging therein that today on 09.01.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, he recovered 5250 ML (07 Bottles) of illicit liquor from the possession of Smt. Prema lama W/o Sh. Tashi Lama R/O Rehari market Jhakri PO Jhakri Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Jhakri .
An Accident: case FIR No. 02/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 08.01.2017 U/
S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Umesh Kumar alleging therein that he was coming from Chandigarh towards Wangtu in Truck No. HP-65-2679, driven by Khem Raj. When they reached near Tribal Bhawan Dhalli, suddenly a person namely Nitish Verma S/o Sh. Kewal Ram R/o Village Beel, PO Kyara, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 27 years, fell down from the roof of another truck & crushed under the Truck of Khem Raj and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.During last 24 hours 77 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 22 & fine realized Rs. 11,500/- and 14 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,500/-.
INQUEST REPORT
Deceased Jia Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Nikka Ram R/o Village Panera, PO Chabha, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, who was working as helper in Electricity Deptt. at Power House Chabha has been died due to fell down under the influence of alcohol into Chabha Dam Canal, in the jurisdiction of PS Sunni. After autopsy at CH Sunni, dead body handed over to his relative for cremation.

Mandi, A/P Shandil Niwas near Hillgrow Public School, Jawahar Colony, Kamla Nagar, Sanjauli Shimla-6 in case FIR No. 155/16 Dt. 23.02.2016 U/S 420,467,468,471 IPC at PS New Shimla, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
