CRIME REPORT 10 MAR

1.     A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN case FIR No. 43/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 09-03-13 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Mohammad Yakub S/o Hazi Aalmudeen R/o Block No.-6, Quarter No. 29, CPWD Quarter, Bemloie, Shimla, alleging therein that on 09-03-13 persons namely Anil Koundal and Amar Deep wrongfully restrained & beat him near Bemloie.

2. Two DISOBEDIENCE TO ORDER DULY PROMULGATED BY PUBLIC SERVANT cases FIR No. 11 & 12 registered at Police Station New Shimla on 09-03-13 U/S 188 IPC on the report of HC Roshan Lal & HC Inder Singh during patrolling along with staff they found that persons namely (1) Ranjeet & (2)Janjeet (3) Kaya Ram (4) Moh. Najim (5) Rohit Kumar (6) Tpesver Parsad & (7) Ramesh S/O Gulab Chand unable to produce any identity card. So they all disobeyed the order of Magistrate.
3. A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST case FIR No. 10/13 is registered at Police Station Rohru on 10-03-13 U/S 408 IPC on the statement of Narender Verma S/o Sh. Rati Ram Verma R/o Verma Cottage, Khalini, Shimla, alleging therein that on 15-01-13 he sent 185 bags of rice from FCI Dhalli to Rohru in his vehicle Truck No. HP-11-2899 drven by driver Raj Kumar S/O Fifdu Ram R/O Village Karot PO Dhoba Tehsil & Distt. Sadar Bilaspur. Case is being investigating by HC Man Dass I/C PP Tikkar.

4.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 37/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 09-03-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Karm Singh S/o Sh. Mathu Ram R/o Vill Dumeher, PO Mundaghat, Shimla, alleging therein that when he was going towards Domehar along with Mr. Inder Singh. Rajinder Singh, Sandeep, Rakesh & Rajesh in vehicle Pick-up No. HP-63-1060. 2 Km far from Mundaghat above vehicle fell down from the road. In this accident one Rakesh Kumar died in the spot. Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand I/O PS Dhalli.

5.      A BURGLARY case FIR No 38/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 09-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Amar Singh S/o Late Sh. Chodhari Ram R/o C/o Negi Niwas, Malyana, alleging therein that on 08-03-13 some unknown person has stolen away 2 pair ear-ring gold, 2 pair jhumka, 2 pair tops, 2 pair gozru & 1 pair payal of silver from his house. The approximate cost of the stolen item is Rs. 80,000/-. Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand I/O PS Dhalli.

6.      A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 9/13 is registered at Police Station Chopal on 10-03-13 U/S 341, 323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pratep Singh S/o Late Sh. Kirpa Ram R/o Vill Dhar Dochi, PO Dhabas, Teh Chopal Distt Shimla, alleging therein that stating therein that on 09-03-13 when he was going to home one person named Sunder Singh S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Vill Kayari, PO Dhabas obstracted his way and beat him. Case is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal I/o PS Chopal.

7.      During last 24 hours 127 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of Traffic rules and 06 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act & COPTA is Rs. 26,200/-.

CRIME REPORT 09 MAR

1.      (ACCUSED ARRESTED) A THEFT case FIR No. 14/13 is registered at PS Jhakri on 09-03-13 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ukesh Roch S/o Sh. Uma Nand R/o Vill Gasso, PO Jhakri, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 08-03-13 during the intervening night of 08/09-03-13 some unknown person has stolen away one tyre of his vehicle Marshal No. HP-06-0886. Total value of stolen property is Rs. 10,000/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Sher Singh I/O PS Jhakri. Accused person namely Naresh Kumar S/o Kumbh Dass R/o Vill Dhanudhar, Teh Nirmad, Distt Kullu has been arrested.

2.      A TRESPASS case FIR No. 12/13 is registered at Police Station Jubbal on 08-03-13 U/S 447, 379, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kehar Singh S/o Rama Nand R/o Vill Nakrari, PO Jharag, Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 02-03-13 persons namely Tara Devi W/o Late Sh. Shishi Ram, Surinder Singh S/o Late Sh. Shishi Ram and Rubja W/o Surinder Singh all R/o Vill Nakrari, PO Jharag, Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla entered in his land and stolen away fencing wire from his land. Case is being investigated by HC Payare Lal I/O PS Jubbal.

3.      During last 24 hours 170 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of Traffic rules and 13 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act & COPTA is Rs. 27,500/-.

CRIME REPORT 08 MAR

1.      (MISSING) A missing report is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 08-03-13 that on the application of Sh. Sita Ram S/o Sh Bhajnu Ram R/o Vill Kanahal, PO Kedi, Teh Nerwa, Distt Shimla, on 03-03-13 his sister-in-law Smt. Fulma Devi W/o Late Sh. Roop Singh R/o Kanhal went to her paternal place Dharchandna, but did not reach at the destination, he search her at all possible places but could not traced. Her height is 4'4", colour fair, age 45 years and scar on right eye-brow.

2.      (RECOVERY) In connection with case FIR NO. 40/13 registered at Police Station Rampur 67 drums of Bituminous approximated cost Rs. 5,28,630/- has been recovered and three persons namely Kailash Chand @ Khadku S/o Sh. Kamlu Ram R/o Vill Kimcha, PO Kushwa, Teh Nirmand, Distt Kullu, Puran Dutt @ Reenu S/o Sh. Hem Chand R/o Vill Gumla, PO Teshan, Teh Kumarsain, Distt Shimla and Rozer Binni Chauhan S/o Sh. Sunder Singh Chauhan R/o VPO Nirath, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla have been arrested.

3.      A THEFT cases FIR No. 35/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli SHimla on 07-03-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Snjeev Sharma S/o Sh. Chuni Lal R/o Puri Cottage, Sanjauli, Shimla, alleging therein that on 04-03-13 he parked his vehicle Maruti Car No. HP-03-0129 on the road. On 07-03-13 he found that some unknown person has stolen away above vehicle. Case is being investigated by HC Yashwent Negi I/O PP Sanjauli.

4.      A BURGLARY case FIR No. 36/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 07-03-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the statement of Roshan Lal Verma S/o Sh. Dharm Dutt Verma teacher at GMS Mandhri alleging therein that on 07-03-13 at 8:15 AM when he reached the school, children informed me that the locks of the door has been broken, after checking he found that 5 cylinders have been stolen by some unknown person. Case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar I/C PP Sunni.

5.      A DISOBEDIENCE TO ORDERS PROMULGATED BY PUBLIC SERVANT case FIR No. 42/13 U/S 188 IPC on the report of HC Ravinder I/O PS Sadar that on 07-03-13 when he was verifying about migrant labors, it comes to notice that some laborer migrant namely Chainu Shek S/o Sh. Vast Shekh C/o LR Verma Vill. Kamyana, PO Poabo, Teh & Distt Shimla and Tek Chand S/o Sh. Parsa Ram R/o VPO Poabo, Teh & Distt Shimla bringing migrant laborers without verifying from local police.

6.      A THEFT case FIR No. 20/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 07-03-13 U/S 379 IPC & 25 IT Act on the complaint of Sh. Hari Parkash Gupta JTO BSNL Sanjauli, Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 06/07-03-13 some unknown person has stolen away 100 pairs & 20 pairs cable wire from Nav-Vihar To Horticulture Road.Total Amounts of stolen cable is Rs. 29,895/-.

7.      During last 24 hours, 170 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of traffic rules. 09 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2005). The Total amount of Compounding Fee of Challans under M.V. Act and COPTA is Rs. 29,300/-.

CRIME REPORT 07 MAR

1.        (RECOVERED) In the connection of THEFT case FIR No. 40/13 registered at Police Station Rampur, all the stolen property has been recovered and two persons have been arrested in this connection.

2.         A BURGLARY case FIR No. 10/13 is registered at Police Station New Shimla on 06-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sandeep Kumar S/o N D Sharma R/o Gulmohar Building, Bhawati Nagar, Lower Khalini, Shimla, alleging therein some unknown person has stolen away Rs. 11,400/- and silver jewlery from his house. The estimated cost of stolen property is Rs. 12,400/-(app). Case is being investigated by HC Inder I/o PS New Shimla.

3.        A CRIMINAL TRESPASS case FIR No. 34/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla 06-03-13 U/S 452, 427, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ansum Dhiman S/o Sh. Ram Gopal Dhiman R/o C/o Hariom Niwas, Dhalli, alleging therein that on 06-03/-13 when he came back from the exam he found three persons namely Ankush Dhawan, Nitish Kuthari & Akshay Kumar entered in his room and breaking the Almira, Glass & Curtain of his room. When he tried to stop them, they beat him and ran away. Case is being investigated by LHC Sarita I/O PS Dhalli.

4.        A BURGLARY case FIR No. 9/13 is registered at Police Station Rohru on 06-03-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ram Pal GPS Langnoo, Dodra-Kawar, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 27/28-02-13 some unknown person has stolen away V.E.C. Register, mid day meal vessels, filter, stationery & library books from GPS Langoo Dodra-Kawar. Case is being investigated by HC Partap Sungh I/O PP Dodra Kawar.

5.        An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 41/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 07-03-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the report of ASI Prem Lal I/O PS Rampur that on 07-03-13 at 1:10 PM one vehicle Spark No. HP-25A-1571 met with accident near Dakolar and rolled down about 150 feet from the road, in which one person named Bhajan Dass R/o VPO Kalpa, Distt Kinnaur died on the spot and driver Rajesh R/o Vill Kalpa, Distt. Kinnaur and Padam Singh Nepali sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by ASI Prem Lal I/O PS Rampur.

6.        On 06-03-13 at 3:15 PM an information was received at PS K/khai that a dead body of Rajinder Singh S/o Chet Ram R/o Vill Jhamroli, PO Himri, Teh K/khai was lying in a dhaank near Kadail Nala on this information SHO/SI Gauri Dutt Sharma along with staff rush to the spot & verify that on 04-03-13 diseased was going to his sister house at Pali, but while crossing through a narrow way he fell down in steep gaudiest about 100 mtr. and died on the spot.  No foul play has been found so far inquest under 174 Cr. PC. is being carried out.

CRIME REPORT 06 MAR

1.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 8/13 is registered at Police Station Chopal on 06-03-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mohar Singh Rana S/o Sh. Karam Dass Rana R/o Vill Dhar, PO Dhar Chanana, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 05-03-13 when he along with his daughter Tanu were traveling in vehicle Bolero Camper No. HP-08A-0503 from Ronahat to Dhar near Sainj Khad driver Parma Nand S/o Sh. Dei Singh R/o VPO Sharad, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla lose the control and vehicle fell down from the road and Tanu got died on the spot. Case is being investigated by ASI Pardeep Kumar I/C PP Kupvi.

2.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 39/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 05-03-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Kamaljeet Singh S/o Sh. Sardar Paramjeet Singh R/o C/o Kalsi Brother, Dutnagar, alleging therein that on 05-03-13 at 11:35 AM one vehicle Canter No. HP-63A-1286 met with an accident near Duttnagar. In this accident driver Bhagat Singh S/o Sh. Tashi Ram R/o Vill Rupi, Teh Nichar, Distt Kinnaur sustained injury. Case is being investigating by HC Shashi Bushan I/O PS Rampur.

3.      A THEFT case FIR No. 40/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 06-03-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Shiv Raj Sanyal S/o Sh. Ram Lal Asstt. Engineer B&R, Rampur, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 05/06-03-13 some unknown person has stolen away 67 drums of Bituminous near Shingla Helipad. Total cost of stolen property is Rs. 5,28,630/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS Rampur.

4.      During last 24 hours, 156 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of traffic rules. 12 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2005). CRIME REPORT 05 MAR

1.        A case under FOREST ACT is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 05-03-13 on the report of ASI Kundan Lal I/C PP Dhami that on the bases of some information he recovered two unauthorized Trucks loaded with illegal Khair bearing No. HP-51B-6396 & HP-62A-3696. The name of drivers are Rajesh Kumar & Khem Raj respectivly.

2.        A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case is registered at Police Station Jubbal on 05-03-13 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Avinash S/o Sh. Jagdish Chauhan R/o Vill Baral, PO Jharag, Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that driver & cleaner of vehicle Truck No. HP-10-1673 along with one another person wrongfully restraint him and his cousin named Aadarsh Chauhan and beat them. In this incident Aadersh sustained injury.

3.        A DISOBEDIENCE TO ORDERS PROMULGATED BY PUBLIC SERVANT case is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 04-03-13 U/S 188 IPC on the report of HC Amar Dutt I/O PS Sadar Shimla that one person named Karan Bhadur S/o Sh. Tek Bhadur R/o Dudhli, Shimla engaged some migrant Nepali laborers without verification from local Police.

4.        A THEFT case is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 04-03-13 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Smt. Anuradha W/o Sh. Rajender Kaushal R/o Azad Niwas, Ghora Chowki, Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 03/04-03-13 at 11:15 PM some unknown person has stolen away an amplifier from her roof.

5.        A THEFT case is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 04-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Makhan Lal Chandel S/o Late Sh. Jai Singh Chandel R/o Chandel Bhawan, Sangti, Summer-Hill, Shimla, alleging therein that at some unknown person has stolen away 2 rings, ear rings 3-pairs, one tops, 5 silver coin & cash Rs. 7,500/- from the house.

CRIME REPORT 04 MAR

1.        A case under ND&PS ACT is registered at Police Station Rampur on 03-03-13 on the report of ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS Rampur that on 03-03-13 at 03.30 PM during traffic checking along with staff near Shingla bifurcation, he recovered 100 gram Chars from the illegal possession of Major Lal S/o Late Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Vill Dakolar, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla and Sunder Lal S/o Sh. Gopi R/o Vill Nagani, PO Nichar, Teh Bhawanagar, Distt Kinnaur in the vehicle Pick-up No. HP-06A-2647.

2.        A case under ND&PS ACT is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 04-03-13 on the report of ASI Ajit Singh I/O PS Dhalli that on 04-03-13 at 12.00 PM during patrolling along with staff near Mashobra bifurcation he recovered 248 grm chars from the illegal possession of Puran Chand S/o Late Sh. Rattan Lal R/o Vill Sewang, PO Durga Pur, Teh Sunni, Distt Shimla.
