1.    A  RIOTING :  Case FIR No.171/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 05.08.2018 U/S U/S 341, 147, 148, 323 IPC on the  complaint of Sh. Raj Kishor Gupta  R/o Rink View Building, Sood Janj Ghar Rivoli, Road Shimla, alleging therein that on 04.08.2018 his driver Kuldeep was going towards snow view to take the vehicle, when he reached at Lakkar Bazar Bus stand then Raman servant of Shinda along with 07/08 persons intercepted his driver’s  way and beaten him brutally .The case is being investigated by HC Daljeet I/o PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla.

2.    A  RIOTING : Case FIR No.172/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 05.08.2018 U/S U/S 341, 147, 148, 323 IPC on the  complaint of Sh. Surender Kumar R/o Shop No.04 Lakkar Bazaar  Shimla alleging therein that on 04.08.2018 at tunnel 15/20 ladies/gents beaten his workers in his shop brutally, in which they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Madan I/C PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla.

3.    During last 24 hours 419 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 184 fine realized Rs.  82,400/- and 18 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,200/- and 05 Challan under Mining Act & fine realized Rs.28,500/-

Crime Report on August 04, 2018

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 42/18 Dt. 03.08.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Nankhari has been registered on the rukka of HC Sanjay No. 87, I/O PS Nankhari, Shimla alleging on 03.08.2018 at about 07-00PM, during patrolling along with staff near Karali, 107 Gram Charas has been recovered from the possession of Prem Raj @ ID S/o Sh. Veer Singh R/o Village Jagot, PO & Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla, age 35 years. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay No. 87, I/O PS Nankhari, Shimla.

2.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 100/18 Dt. 03.08.2018 U/S 20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Rampur on the rukka SI Ravinder Lal, I/O PS Rampur on 03.08.2018 at 07-00 PM, during patrolling along with staff towards Khareri, one vehicle No. HR29T-4704 along with four persons namely i) Veer Singh S/o Sh. Bega Ram R/o Village Kalaya PO Kharga, Tehsil Nirmand, Kullu, 35 years, ii) Vikas S/o Sh. Ram Singh R/o Village & PO Racholi, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, iii) Sunder Singh S/o Sh. Sagar Dass Village & PO Racholi, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla & iv) Gurjeet Singh R/o Village & PO Racholi, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla stopped by them for checking and during the searh,34 Gram Charas has been recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by SI Ravinder La, I/O PS Rampur.

3.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 78/18 Dt. 03.08.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act PS Jhakri has been registered on the rukka of SI Om Prakash, SHO PS Jhakri, Shimla alleging therein that during patrolling along with staff, 05 Bottles of illicit liquor has been recovered from the possession of one lady. The case is being investigated by SI Om Prakash, SHO PS Jhakri.

4.     A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 111/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 03.08.2018 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.08.2018, during patrolling along with staff, seven persons apprehended by them during playing gambling with cards at public place and seized Rs. 12,190/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.   

5.     AN ATTEMPT TO MURDER: Case FIR No. 159/18 Dt. 03.08.18 U/S 307 IPC at PS Theog has been registered on the statement of Sh. Rajeev Chandel S/o Lt. Sh. Jagat Chand Chandel R/o Village Panjla PO Fagu Tehsil Theog District Shimla, age 40 years alleging therein that on 02.08.2018 at about 07-00 PM, he along with Suresh Kumar and Rajeet Chandel were sitting in “Mejban Beer Bar & Restaurant” at Bekhlti. After some time, Joginder Singh Mistri, who was working in Rajan Tyre Industry came there and sit on another table.  In between, Joginder Singh & Ranjeet Singh started to scuffle with each-other and Joginder Singh pushed Ranjeet Singh and he fell down and become unconscious.  The case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu, Theog.

6.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 209/18 has been registered at PS West on 04.08.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of BDO, Mashobra, Shimla alleging therein that their office has issued amounting to Rs. 16,300/- under Gandhi Kuteer Plan to Sh. Aalmu Ram R/o Village Makdog PO Gaich Kohbag, Tehsil &  District Shimla and after his death last two installments were issued to his son Raj Kumar through Pradhan & Secretary Gram Panchayat Gaich-Kohbag. During enquiry, Raj Kumar stated that above amount has not been received by him and neither he nor his father has constructed the house in proposed land khasra No. 245. The cheating of Govt. Money has been occurred by miscreants and the case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/O PS West.

RECOVERY OF TOBACCO PRODUCT.

            On 03-08-2018 Chopal Police has recovered  the 482 packets (8 Kg) tobacco product  from the shop at Chopal. The action under COTPA Act is being initiated against the shopkeeper and will be produced before Ld. Court.

Crime Report on August 03, 2018

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 157/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 02.08.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI/Addl. SHO PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.08.2018 at about 09-50 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one person namely Shyam Lal S/o Sh. Parma Nand R/o Village Manlog, PO Devgarh, Tehsil Kotkhai, District Shimla, intercepted by them near Rain shelter at Gajedi Bypass and during the search, 3.330 Kg. Charas has been recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI/Addl. SHO PS Theog.

2.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR 158/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 03.08.2018 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the  rukka of SI Laiq Ram, I/O SNCC (F4) Shimla Range CID, alleging therein that on the intervening night of 02/03.08.2018 at about 03-45 AM, during patrolling/collection of intelligence regarding illegal trading of narcotics drugs on Teel Road leading toward Dhamandri from Cheog,  one vehicle No. DL4CR-1672 Alto car alongwith driver namely Prem Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Mahtu Ram R/o Village Jaghod PO Dhamandri, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, stopped by them for checking. During the search, 106 Gram Charas, 04.32 Gram Chitta (Heroin) and cash Rs. 3,71,100/- has been recovered from the above vehicle under the possession of driver Prem Lal. The case is being investigated by SI Liaq Ram, I/O SNCC (F4) Shimla Range CID, Shimla.

3.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.99/18 has been registered at Ps Rampur on 02.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Sher Singh I/O PS Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.08.2018 at about 08-30PM, he along with staff was on patrolling towards Duttnagar . On the secret information, a raid was conducted in Dhaba of  Pawan S/O Sh. Dil Bahadur R/O VPO Duttnagar Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP and recovered 11 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Una No.-1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Sher Singh, I/O PS Rampur.

4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No.   62/18 Dt. 02.08.18 U/S 279 337 304A IPC PS Jubbal has been registered on the statement of Ranjan Verma S/o Sh. Pradeep Verma R/o Jubbal, age 25 years alleging therein that on 02.08.2018, he was coming from Rohru to Jubbal in vehicle No. HP77-0801 (Swift Car) driven by Bhupesh Tanwar S/o Sh. Rajinder Tanwar R/o Village Raika PO Dochi, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla. At about 01-00 PM, as they reached near Paratpur, above vehicle met with an accident and after hitting  with wall, rolled on the road due to rash & negligent driving of Bhupesh Tanwar. In this accident, Bhupesh died during treatment at CH Rohru and he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh, I/O PS Jubbal.

5.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No.   83/18 Dt. 02.08.18 U/S 279 337 427 IPC & 185 MV Act PS New Shimla has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Murari Lal Sharma S/o Sh. S.P. Sharma R/o Ganga Bhawan, Dev Nagar, Kasumpti Shimla A/P Mahu Nag Brothers & Company, BCS Shimla alleging therein that on 02.08.2018, one vehicle No. DL3CBE-4090, driven by Rakesh Singh S/o SH. C.N. Singh R/o F-Poket-L, Shekh Sarai, Phase-II, New Delhi A/P House No. 102 C/o Sec.-3, New Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving and hit the vehicle Nos. HP03C-2554, HR01AK-3653 (Motorcycle), HP62A-2983, HP63A-5710 (Swift) and HP63B-4786, parked on road side at BCS Shimla and damaged above vehicles badly.  The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PS New Shimla.

6.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 145/18 Dt. 02.08.18 U/S 279 337 IPC PS Dhalli has been registered on the statement of Sh. Kuldeep Dodka S/o Lt. Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Pujarli PO Kalbog, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that his son namely Hursh, who was studying in 10^th class in Javiour School Sanjauli, was going to the house of his relative. At about 03-25 PM, when he reached near Old Police Post Sanjauli, at the same time one HRTC Bus came rashly with negligent driving and hit his son, caused sustained injuries to him.  The case is being investigated by HC Ram Kumar, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla.    

7.     A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 72/18 Dt. 02.08.18 U/S 379 IPC & 32, 33 The Indian Forest Act PS Chirgaon has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Bhardwaj, Forest Block Officer, Khashdhar, Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that 23 logs of Kial approximate value Rs. 1,45,015/- have been recovered from Khilocha Nalah cut by unknown person. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat, I/O PP Jangla.

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 170/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 01.08.2018 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 01.08.2018 at about 04-45 PM, on the secret information, one person namely Ranjeet S/o Sh. Bhagwan Dass R/o  Dhara near Shiv Mandir, Down-Dale, Phagli, Shimla intercepted by them near Public Toilet Down-Dale, Shimla and recovered 02 Gram Smack from his possession The case is being investigated by ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar. 

2.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 47/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 01.08.2018 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 01.08.2018 at about 06-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Kotkhai Bazar, one person namely Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh Sharma R/o Village Chanehad, PO Barang, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi, HP, age 24 years intercepted by them at Shopping Complex Kotkhai and recovered 16.98 Gram Charas & 3.34 Gram Chitta (Heroin) from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Kotkhai.

3.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 169/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 01.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dhanveer, I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 01.08.2018 at about 05-30 PM, during patrolling along with staff, 12 Bottles of Country liquor has been recovered from the possession of one lady at Down-Dale-Phagli Road, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Dhanveer, I/O PS Sadar.

4.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 77/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 01.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SHO PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 01.08.2018, on the secret information, a raid was conducted in the Daily Needs Shops of Shadi Ram S/o Sh. Sharu Ram at Jeori and recovered 18 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Jhakri. 

5.     AN ACCIDENT:  Case FIR No. 92/18 has been registered at PS East on 02.08.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Surender Shandil S/o Lt. Sh. Chet Ram Shandil R/o Village Ghanoti, PO Malyana Tehsil & District Shimla, HP alleging therein that on 01.08.2018 at about 11-30 PM, one vehicle No. PB18M-0001 (Fortuner) met with an accident near Chhachadu Nalah & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Akshay. In this accident, driver Akshay died on the spot and one person namely Rahul sustained injuries. The case is being investigated SI Surender Kumar, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla.    

6.     During last 24 hours 559 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 195 fine realized Rs.  98,700/- and 25 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,500/-

Crime Report on August 01, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 40/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari on 31.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Chint Ram, SHO PS Nankhari, Shimla alleging therein that on 31.07.2018 at about 07-40 PM, on the secret information, a raid was conducted in the Daily Needs Shop of Puran Sukh S/o Lt. Sh. Kumbh Dass R/o Village Panoli PO Khunni, Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla and Recovered 71 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated SI Chint Ram, SHO PS Nankhari.   

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 41/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari on 01.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Chint Ram, SHO PS Nankhari, Shimla alleging therein that on 31.07.2018 at about 10-30 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one person namely Damodar Dass S/o Sh. Dhaju Ram R/o Village Jahoo Deem, PO Jahoo, Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla, age 46 years apprehended by them near village Jahoo and Recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Sirmaur Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated SI Chint Ram, SHO PS Nankhari.  

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 142/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 01.08.18 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Attar Singh S/o Sh. Bishan Dass R/o Village & PO Chupadi Tehsil Rohru District Shimla stated therein that on 31.07.2018 at about 08-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP10A-3095, driven by Sunder Singh S/o Sh. Het Ram R/o Village & PO Majhauli Tehsil & PS Chopal, Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving from Dhalli side and hit him, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Jogeshwar, I/O PS Dhalli.

4.    Case FIR No. 152/18 Dt. 31.07.18 U/S 302 IPC PS Theog has been registered on the statement of Sh. Brij Lal S/o Sh. Ishwar Dass R/o Village Sampal, PO Karana, Tehsil Anni, District Kullu, HP stated therein that on 31.07.2018, he received an information that, his cousin brother namely Vinod Kumar S/o  Sh. Narayan Singh, age 26 years was found dead with blood stains injury on his head and abrasion marks on his back side, on the road side of National Highway-05, link road leads towards Dhalku to Rachan. He doubts that some unknown person has beaten him  and hit on head with stone & killed him. The case is being investigated by SI Surjeet Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog.

5.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 94/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 31.07.2018 U/S 409 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rakesh Sautha Owner of Trade Mark M/s Sautha Apples R/o VPO Dhar Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that w.e.f. 06.07.2018 to 12.07.2018 he had sold Apple Boxes to Amandeep Kamboj R/o Shop No. 31,20 New Sabzi Mandi Sansour Road Patiala. But, the above person did not paid any payment to him and cheated him. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar I.O PS Chopal.

6.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 154/18 dated 01-08-2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Theog on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand I/C PP Chailla alleging therein that today he along with staff was on patrolling towards sainj. During patrolling he intercepted one person namely Jitender Kumar S/o Parkash Chand R/o Vill Namani PO Triflaghat Teshil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi A/p Motor Mechanic near Shakar Nala Sainj and recovered 12 bottles of country liquor Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand I.C PP Chailla PS Theog.

7.    During last 24 hours 436 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 201 fine realized Rs.  99,300/-, 28 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,900/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.

1.    Accused Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Het Ram R/o Village Serati (Khaddar) PO Nakoda Pull, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 90/18 Dt. 26.07.2018 U/S 363 366 IPC & 12 POCSO Act at PS Chopal, remanded in police custody upto 03.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused i) Nirmal Singh @ Sunny S/o Sh. Sardar Bahadur R/o Charanjeet Niwas, Vishwkarma Cottage Dhalli, Shimla, age 28 years & arrested in case FIR No. 36/18 Dt. 23.02.2018 U/S 279, 337, 379 IPC at PS Dhalli, remanded in police custody upto 02.08.2018, by the Ld. Court. 

3.     Accused Raveen Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh R/o Village Bulad, Tehsil Jubbal, District Shmla, Age 28 years arrested in case FIR No. 61/18 Dt. 28.07.2018 U/S 302 341 323 34 IPC at PS Jubbal, is remanded in Police Custody upto 02.08.2018 by the Ld. Court.
