Crime Report 14 November, 2014

1. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR 148/14 has been registered at PS Rampur on 13.11.2014 U/S 341,323,504 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Dyal S/O Sh. Pashaku Ram R/o Vill. Chamada, PO Khamadi, SubTehsil Nankhari, Distt. Shimla, HP alleging therein that on 12.11.2014 he was attending the marriage function of his matrimonial (Mama) at Khamadi. Where Kashimiri Lal obstructed his way, abused and beaten him. The case is being investigated by ASI Hari Singh I/C PP Nankhari.

2. A Burglary case FIR No. 148/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 13.11.2014 on 454 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Surender Kumar S/o Sh. Chaman Lal A/p Ram Kothi, Cowshed near Justy Niwas Shankli Shimla alleging therein that on 13.11.2014, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his quarter and stolen away golden/silver ornaments and cash Rs. 10 thousand from almirah. The case is being investigated by SI Rajnish Kumar, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

3. An Accident case FIR No.151/14 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 13.11.2014 U/S 279,336,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Lalit Mohan S/O Sh. Desha Nand R/O Vill. Neri PO Kiarkoti Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 13.11.2014, his cousin Bhim Dutt was travelling from Nerwa to Shimla in HRTC Bus No. HP-63A-1911.  When above Bus reached near Hussan valley, the door of bus opened suddenly and  his cousin Bhim Dutt fell down on road due to the negligent act of  bus driver Surinder and Conductor Gopal. The case is being investigating by ASI Dharam Singh I/O P.S. Dhalli.

4. During last 24 hours 202 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total challan were compound= 79 and fine realize Rs. 29,700/-

2. Accused Ramesh Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Relu Ram R/o Village Linger, PO Srain, Chopal Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 53/14 Dt. 13.11.2014 U/S 41, 42 IF Act & 379 IPC PS Nerwa, today release on bail.

3. Accused Bhupender Singh @ Rahul S/o Sh. Uagar Singh R/o Gali No. 1, Ward No. 8 New Abadi, Shri Anandpur Sahib, Tehsil Anandpur Sahib, Distt. Ropar, PB. age 44 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 41/14 Dt. 12.11.2014 U/S 328 392 IPC at PS Jubbal, is on police remand upto 17.11.2014.

Crime Report 13 Nov. 2014

1. A Forest Act case FIR No. 53/14 is registered at PS Nerwa on 13.11.2014 U/S 41, 42 IF Act & 379 IPC on the rukka of SI Narender Singh, SHO PS Nerwa alleging therein that on 13.11.2014 at about 03:00 AM, when he alongwith staff was on Naka duty near Newati. At about 03:00 AM a vehicle No. HP-63C-1316 (Pick UP) came from Chopal. During search, 212.3 Kg. cedar seeds recovered from the possession of driver Ramesh Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Relu Ram R/o Village Linger, PO Srain, Chopal Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Narender Singh, SHO PS Nerwa.

2. A Robbery Case FIR No. 41/14 is registered at PS Jubbal on 12.11.14 U/S 328 392 IPC on the statement of Smt. Sadishna Chauhan W/o Lt. Sh. Narinder Chauhan R/o Village & PO Pandli, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla A/p S.K. Dass Rawat Building Saraswati nagar alleging therein that on 02.11.2014, she went to Delhi for treatment of her son. On 08.11.2014, when she came back to home, a person namely Rahul was met with her at Railway Station Delhi, who asked her mobile number. After that he continuously talks with her through mobile. On 09.11.2014, she alongwith Rahul come to her quarter at Sarswati Nagar. Rahul stays in her quarter. On 11.11.2014, Rahul gave toffee to her children and stolen golden ornaments and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Gopal Singh, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.

3. An Accident case FIR No 94/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain on 13.11.2014 U/S 279,337,304 A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Chandal S/O Sh. Mohan Lal Chandal R/O Village Tikri, PO Katog, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 13.11.2014, he is going to Bithal for loading a sand from Nagjuber to Bithal along with Sanjay Kumar and Sudarshan Kumar in Tata 407 No HP09A-3395. At about 10:00 PM when they reached near Kingal, driver Sanjay Kumar loose the control on vehicle and above truck rolled down from the road. One person namely Sanjay Kumar died on the spot and  he & Sudarshan singh sustains injuries. The case is being investigating by HC Dev Raj I/O PS Kumarsain.

4. An Accident case FIR No  127/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 12.11.2014  u/s  279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Parkash Chand I/O PS Rohru alleging therein that  on 12.11.2014, one person informed him that one vehicle was met with an  accident  near  Kansakoti road.  On this information he alongwith staff rushed to the spot at Kansakoti and found that one bike was coming rashly from Machoti to Kansakoti and met with an accident and rolled down from the road. Bike rider sustained injuries in this accident. The case is being investigation by HC Parkash Chand I/O PS Rohru.

5. A Theft case FIR No 72/14 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 12.11.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Smt. Kalvinder Kaur W/O Sh. Garmal Singh C/O Dev Niwas Upper Bazar Rohru alleging therein that her son parked his M/Cycle A/F TVS Star City at village Dhawni Kharot Tehsil Chirgaon. During the intervening night of 09/10.11.2014, Some unknown person has stolen above M/Cycle. The case is being investigated be HHC Shishi Ram No 1525, I/O PS Chirgaon.

6. Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty A Case FIR No. 150/14 is  registered at PS Dhalli on 13.11.14 U/S 353,332 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hasia Ram S/O Sh. Ghanu Ram R/O Vill Kwala PO Dublu Sub Teh. Junga Distt Shimla alleging therein that he is working as laborer (bailder) in IPH Deptt. On 12.11.14 he was going to open water supply  to School Dublu,  at the same time one Vijay Kumar R/O Kwala came there and beaten him. Vijay Kumar stopped him to do his govt. duty.  The case is being investigated by HC Tulsi Dass I/O PP Junga PS Dhalli Shimla.

Crime Report 12, November 2014

1.   Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty Case FIR No. 146/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 12.11.2014 U/S 353,332,34 IPC on the application of Const. Vineet Kumar No 1494, Police Line Kainthu Shimla alleging therein that he alongwith another employees deployed for detection work during Lavi fair at Rampur. On 11.11.2014 at about 08:00PM he alongwith staff was coming towards Rampur in his vehicle. When they reached near North Park Hotel at Nirsu,  a person namely Bittan along with another person stopped his vehicle, beaten and obstructed him while he was discharging his official duty. The case is being investigated by SDPO Rampur.

2.   A murder Case FIR No 147/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 12.11.2014 U/S 302 IPC on the Statement of Sh. Balwant Singh S/O Sh. Shayam Singh R/O Village & PO Kareri, Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 11.11.2014 after attending night culture programme in Lavi fair, he along with father in law, uncle and Ajay Kumar S/O Rajinder Kumar Vill Khakhrola Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla were going towards Nogali in his vehicle No HP-06C-0750. On the way near Khakhrola one another vehicle No HP-06A-2195 which was breakdown and Dvr Vijay @ Vijju S/O late Rikhi Ram VPO Nogali of above vehicle asked them for help. On this, Ajay Kumar came out from Vehicle for his help and he along with another person went towards their home. After some time when Ajay Kumar did not reach his home, they searched him at that place and found his dead body near Khakrola. He doubts that Vijay Kumar has murdered him with sharp weapon. The case is being investigated by Inspt. Mathura Dass, SHO PS Rampur

3.   An Accident case FIR No. 126/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 12.11.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Lukky s/o late Sh. Babu Ram  R/o Vill.  Barara PO Arhal Tehsil Rohru Distt Shimla alleging therein that on dated  11-11-14  at     06-30 pm when he reached at Rohru Bus Stand from Shimla at the same time one person namely  Lalit  meet him and said that drop him at Samoli where his truck was parked.  After reached at Samoli Lalit Kumar turned back  complainant Car No HP 01A-4802 rashly and negligently due to this Boby who is sitting inside the vechicle suddenly fell down from the vehicle and sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Bbalraj I/O PS Rohru.

4.   A Cheating case FIR No. 50/14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 12.11.2014 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Phirdosh S/o Sh. Latifur Rahman R/o Village Sadhpbhita, PO Ranjipar, Tehsil Balpukhar, Distt. Uttar Ginajpur, West Bengal alleging therein he is working as a carpenter  and residing  at Saini Niwas near Himfad Building, New Shimla. On 11.11.2014, at about 09:00 AM, an unknown person called on his brother's mobile No. 9729737810 from mobile No. 9805769499. After that when he called back on the above No. the person told that he was speaking from band and your ATM card has been blocked and  asked for account No. and PIN No. from him. he given the above information to him. After that he went to PNB New Shimla and told the whole story the cashier. When cashier checked his account, the amount Rs. 46,000/- has been withdrawal from his account. The case is being investigated by ASI Mahender Singh, I/O PS New Shimla.

1. Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No 135/14 has been registered at PS East on 10.11.2014 U/S 353,332,451,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Laiq Ram S/O Sh. Tulsi Ram R/O Dev Nagar Kasumpti Shimla that he is working as a peon in the O/o Excise and taxation Commission Shimla-9. On 08.11.2014, when he was on duty in his office, one person namely Neeraj came in his office and beaten him and also threatened him for dire consequences. The Case investigated by ASI Ram Lal I/O PP Kasumpti

2. An Accident case FIR No. 174/14 is registered at PS Theog on 11.11.2014 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Prakash Chand S/o Sh. Ganga Ram R/o Village Kehu, PO Nanj, Tehsil Karsong, Distt. Mandi alleging therein that he is working as conductor in Truck No. Hp-73-1439. On 11.11.2014, he was going towards Rampur in the above Truck. When he reached near Nanni, one HRTC Bus No. HP-06A-0675 came rashly and hit his truck. Truck Driver sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Teja Singh, I/O PS Theog.

3. A Burglary case FIR No. 49/14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 11.11.2014 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Parshotam Ram S/o Sh. Prabhu Ram R/O Village Bhel, PO Piplughat, Tehsil Arki, District Solan alleging therein that he is working as Storekeeper in System Sale Shop at Khalini, Shimla. During the intervening night of 10/11.11.2014, some unknown person has broken the door lock of this shop and stolen away computer alongwith CPU& UPS, one Dongal (Tata) and Induction. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PS New Shimla.

1.    An Accident Case FIR NO 144/14 has been registered at PS Rampur on dated 08.11.2014 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Takur Dass S/O Sangat Ram R/O Noni PO Viyuni Tehsil Nirmand Distt Kuillu, HP, alleging therein that on dated 08-11-2014 at about 2.30 PM he step down from the bus, mean while one truck No HP 24C-0345 came over speed with rash and negligent driving and hit him on leg from the tyre. The accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of truck driver Ashok Kumar S/O Jhamlu Ram R/O Parnal PO Bandla Tehsil and Distt Bilaspur (.) The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS Rampur, Shimla.

2.    An Accident Case FIR NO 173/14 has been registered at PS Theog on dated 08.11.2014 u/s 279,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Ravinder Singh S/O Late Sh. Ishwar Singh R/O Village Narvel, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla, HP, alleging therein that on 08.11.2014 he saw that a zypsy NO. HP-03-2907 rolled down from the road at about 200 feet in which a driver namely Sh. Pradeep S/O sh. Mohan Singh R/O village Badeyo, PO & Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt Shimla, HP, died. This occur due to rash and negligent driving by said deceased person. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Kumar I/O PS Theog, Shimla.

3.    An Accident case FIR NO 52/2014 has been registered at PS Jhakri on dated 08-11-2014 u/s 279 IPC & 185 MV ACT on the statement of Sh. Uday Chander S/O Lt. Sh. Charring Dubgaya R/O Rarang Tehsil Morang Distt. Kinnaur (HP) age 57 yrs alleging therein that on dated 08-11-2014 at about 10.00 PM when he was coming from Rampur in his vehicle alto car No HP06A-5047. When he reached at Jhakri Bazaar,  At that time A vehcile NO HP25C-0101 came from Jeori Side in over speed & hit his vehcile. In this incidents another two vehciles NO HP06A-2664 & HP06A-4041 also got damaged who was parked inside the road. All of these just happened due to the negligence & over speed of the driver Ravi Raj. During the incidents driver Ravi Raj has consumed alcohol(wine). Case has been investigate by ASI Sher Singh I/O PS Jhakri, Shimla.

4.    An Accident case FIR No 93/14 has been registered PS Kumar sain on dated 9-11-2014 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC, on the statement of Sh Anuj Sercak S/O Sh Prithvi Chand R/O Village Dlan PO Virgarh Tehsil and PS Kumarsain Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that today at 6.30 AM When he was near His washing Center at Singha pur on Pvt Bus No HP-62B-1579 coming from Rampur to Shimla and one Bolero Pick-up coming from Bithal To Jhakri loaded with a chicken and Pvt bus hit the above Bolero Pick-up and driver of Pick-up Namely Sunil Kumar pressed on the sit and died on the spot and 3 person sustained injuries . This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of Pvt Bus No HP-62B-1579 Lakhvinder Singh . Case is being investigating by HC Krishan Lal No 11 I/O PS Kumarsain .

5.    During last 24 hours 96 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total challan were compound= 50 and fine realize Rs. 13,000/-

Crime Report on 08 Nov 2014

1.    An Excise Act case FIR NO 51/2014 dt.07-11-2014 U/S 39 HP EX.ACT has been registeredin PS Jhakri  on the rukka of ASI Sher Singh I/O PS Jhakri . He aligning there in that  on 07-11-2014 time about 06:15 pm when he was on  patrolling duty  along with staff at Raheri market Jhakri, in the mean  time he has received a secret information that one  lady person namely Tema w/o Sh Tashi Lama R/O Sidhache P.O Sermaya Tehsil & Distt. Sindhupal odda No 6 Nepal A/P bus stand Jhakri Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla (H.P) is sailing  illegal local wine at large scale at her house without any legal permit. On this information ASI made a raiding party at the spot. During search operation by the  raiding party recovered 3750 ML illicit wine  from her house. Thus a lady person Tema sold & put of illegal wine at their house came into the crime of u/s 39 HP EX. ACT. Case has been investigated by ASI Sher Singh I/O PS Jhakri.

2.    A Theft Case FIR NO 148/14 dated  7.11.2014 u/s 457,380 IPC PS Dhalli  has been registered on the written complaint of Sh. Rakesh Ahuja Rohini Enterprises Broadview Hotel Sanjauli who alleged that he was out of station w.e.f  25.10.14 to 5.11.14. When he came back to Shimla, it came to his notice that theft has taken place in his godown in his absence. He found 14 pieces of Tillers Extra Power, XPW750T and one piece of XPW750H, 5 pieces of Honda EK650 generators have been theft by someone, Total price of stolen articles Rs 5,45,423/-.The case is being investigated by Ashish Samuel I/C PP Sanjauli.

3.    A Theft  case FIR NO  124/14 dated. 07.11.14 u/s 379 IPC  PS Rohroo has been registered on the application of Sh. Govind Singh S/o Sh. Baldev Singh R/o vill. Sithroti Tehsil Rrohru alleged that he parked his motor cycle pulsur No. 150 No. HP10 A-3768 from Samoli near Govt. Sr. Sec. school Samoli. On dated 07.11.14 at 8 am when  he reached at parked point where he has parked his above  Moter Cycle he saw that his above motor cycle not found there. Above motor Cycle has been stoln by some one on 06/07/2014 in intervening night. case has being investigation by HC Parkash chand no. 212 I/o Ps Rohru.
