Crime Report on March 21, 2019

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.19/19 has been registred at PS Jubbal on 20.03.19 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of HC Suresh Kumar I/O PP S/Nagar alleging theirin that on 20.03.2019 on secret information he along with staff raided in the house of one Nepali namely Amar Bhandari S/O Deepak Bhandari C/O Balbir Singh Building at Mandal and Recovered 60 Bottles of Country liquor. 

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.20/19 has been registred at PS Jubbal on 20.03.19 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Deepak Kumar I/O PS Jubbal alleging theirin that on 20.03.2019 on secret information he along with staff raided in the house of one Nepali namely Kul Bhadur S/O Lok Nam Bhadur C/O Titu Makreta VPO Bholar,Tehsil Jubbal Building and Recovered 144 Bottles of Country liquor. 

3.    AN EXCISE ACT:- Case FIR No. 24/19 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 20.03.19 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Prem Singh I/O PS Chirgaon alleging theirin that on 20.03.19  he along with staff was patrolling near Mandali then they intercepted one person namely Sh Kanshi Ram S/O Sh Sarkoo Ram R/OVPO Masli Tehsil Chirgaon Distt Shimla,during search 12 Bottles of Country liquor recovered from his possession.

4.    GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No.66/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 20.03.19 U/S 3, 4 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Payar Singh I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging theirin that on 20/03/19 he along with staff was on patrolling duty towards Kalibari Fingask area then on the secret information four persons apprehended by them during playing gambling in the hotel and seized Rs 6900/- from the spot.The case is being investigated by HC Payar Singh I/O PS Sadar Shimla.

5.    AN ACCIDENT:- Case FIR No 24/2019 has been registered at PS Rohru today i.e.on  21/03/2019 U/S 279,304A IPC, on the statement of Rahul S/O B.M Negi R/O VPO Lowerkoti The Rohru Distt Shimla H.P  alleged therein that today morning time at about 6.30 AM,when he saw one Vehicle lying down into the Dhara Nala. The Driver of the vehicle namely Sh Pardep Kumar S/O Sh Ram Krishan R/O Vill Dhara PO Lowerkoti Teh Rohru Distt Shimla H.P aged 33 years died on the spot (.) Case is being investigated by ASI Jiya Lal I/O PS Rohru (.)

6.    ASSAULT ON GOVT. SERVANT DURING PERFORMING GOVT. DUTY: Case FIR No. 23/19 Dt. 20.03.2019 U/S 353 332 506 IPC has been registered at PS Rohru alleging therein that on 20.03.2019 at about 11-30 AM, on the complaint, when he was conducted inquiry with Sonu Deshta S/o Sh. Negi Ram R/o Village Sainj, PO Samoli, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla at PS Rohru, he become violent and started to misbehave with him.He also threatened him with dire consequences and obstructed him during performing his govt duty. The case is being investigated by ASI Shanti Swaroop, I/O PS Rohru.

7.    ASSAULT ON GOVT. SERVANT DURING PERFORMING GOVT. DUTY:- Case FIR No 68/2019 has been registered at PS Sadar today i.e.on  21/03/2019 U/S 353,332,147,149 IPC, alleged therein that today at about 12.15 PM, when he was on duty alongwith other staff at The Ridge Shimla, where some people were celebrating the Holi festival, who suddenly violent and started to fight with Police and beaten them bruatally. They also obstructed them during performing their govt duty.The investigating is going on.  

8.    AN UNLAWFUL GATHERING:- Case FIR No. 65/19 has been registered at PS Sadar on Dt. 20.03.19 U/S 143 188 336 IPC on the rukka of ASI Inder Pal I/O PS Sadar alleging theirin that on 20-03-19 at about 04-50 PM he along with staff were present at evening college for law & order duty where about 15/20 SFI students of evening college assembled on the road near main gate and shouted slogans against the college administration regarding fee hike etc. without any prior permission.They also burnt the effigy of college adminstration. The case is being investigated by ASI Inder Pal.    

9.    During last 24 hours 532 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded=208, 32 persons challaned under Smoking Act & 02 persons challened under mining act.

Follow-Up:-

1.     Accused Sanjay S/o Sh. Som Rao R/o Village Chaunna PO Gumla District Ranchi, Jharkhand A/P Lal Babu, Lower Vikas Nagar, Shimla-9 has been arrested in case FIR No. 32/19 Dt. 20.03.2019 U/S 454 380 IPC PS East Shimla remanded up to 25.03.2018.

2.     Accused Ravi Thakur S/o Sh. Mangat Ram R/o Village Thalair,PO Sarahan Tehsil Nirmand, District Kullu has been arrested in case FIR No. 53/19 U/S 457, 380 IPC  PS Sadar is being produced before Ld. Court.

3.     Accused Arun S/O Dev Raj R/O Village Dhalti Kumarsain, Bhupender S/O Sant Ram R/O Addu Nankhari & Sushil Kumar S/O Mulak Raj R/o Gumma Kotkhai has been  arrested in Case FIR No.48/19 U/S15,21,25 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli

4.     Accused Naresh Sharma S/O Keshav Sharma R/O Karyali Sunni has been arrested in case FIR No.61/18 U/S 454,380 IPC PS Dhalli Shimla.
