Crime Report on 28th March 2019

1.   A DISOBEDIENCE TO ORDER DULY PROMULGATED BY PUBLIC SERVANT: Case FIR No. 72/19 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 28.03.2019 U/S 143, 188 IPC on the rukka of I/O PP Lakkar Bazaar alleging therein that on 28.03.2019 Students Parents/ Guardian Manch under the leadership of Sh. Bindu Joshi gathered outside  Chepsle school and staged a dharna/ demonstration without any prior permission of the administration and shouted slogans against School Management & Distrit administration to oppose the heavy increased in school fees.  The case is being investigated by ASI Tezin Chering I/O PS Sadar.

2.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 67/19 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 27.03.2019 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o Village Gadkahan PO Majhyod Tehsil Sunni Disrict Shimla stated therein that on 27.03.2019, he alongwith Gopal S/o Sh. Bharat Ram R/o village Ghat, PO Halog Dhami, Tehsil & District Shimla & a lady was going towards Dhami from Okhru School in vehicle No. HP52B-5180, driven by Gopal. At about 04-30 PM, as they reached near Janiya, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Gopal Singh above. In this accident, one person died on the spot and other two sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Madan, I/O PP Dhami.

3.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 17/19 has been registered at PS Kupvi on 270.03.2019 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mast Ram Prashar S/o Sh. Jyoti Ram R/o Village & PO Ronhatm, Tehsil Shillai, District Sirmaur, HP alleging therein that on 27.03.2019, one Swaraj Majda Tipper No. HP71-2902 met with an accident near Shokad and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Vikram Singh S/o Sh. Kundan Singh R/o Village Nainidhar, Tehsil Shillai, District Sirmaur. In this accident,  a person namely Rajpal S/o Sh. Babu Ram died on the spot and Vikram Singh sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Subhash Chand, I/O PS Kupvi.

4.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 30/19 has been registered at PS Chirgaon 27.03.2019 U/S 39(1)A HP Excise Act on the Rukka of  ASI Achhar Singh I/O PS Chirgaon District Shimla alleging therein that on 27.03.2019 he along with staff while traffic duty he recovered 60 bottles of English Liquor (Royal Stag) from the possession of Nehar Singh D/o Sh Negi Ram R/o Dullana P/o Chilala Tehsil Chirgaon District Shimla .The case is being investigated by ASI Achhar Singh I/O PS Chirgaon,

5.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No.54/19 has been registered at PS Theog  today on 28.03.2019 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Layak Ram I/O PS Theog alleging therein that today on 28.03.2019 during traffic checking at NH 05 he intercepted a vehicle No. CH01-AH -3693 came from fagu side and recovered 628 grams Chitta (heroin) from the possession of Dameshwar Dutt S/o Sh Hariya Ram R/o village Jail P/o Gohar Distt Mandi and (ii) Deepak Verma S/o Sh Sita Ram R/o village Bajavi P/o Kelvi Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla .The case is being investigated by SI Layak Ram I/O PS Theog.

6.   During last 24 hours 518 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 218, 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

Follow Up

1.    Accused (i) Dameshwar Dutt S/o Sh Hariya Ram R/o village Jail P/o Gohar Distt Mandi and (ii) Deepak Verma S/o Sh Sita Ram R/o village Bajavi P/o Kelvi Tehsil Theog Distt arrested Shimla FIR No 54/19 dated 28.03.2019 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog is being produced before Ld court on today.
