CRIME REPORT 26 JUNE

1.     (ACCUSED ARRESTED)A HURT case FIR No. 98/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 25-06-13 U/S 341, 323, 427, 506, 34 IPC and 185 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Vivek Sharma S/o Sh. Jagat Ram Sharma R/o VPO Koti, Junga, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 25-06-13 at 4:30 PM when he was going to his home Koti by his vehicle No. HP-52A-3397 near Chinibangla one vehicle No. HP-63B-1193 came rashly and hit his vehicle from back side. Four persons sitting in the vehicle in drunken condition, they start quarreling with him and also threatened him. After that when he went towards Shillon bagh, above 4 persons follows him and broke down the back glass of his car. At Shillon Bagh they hit one person namely Mohan Singh with stone, on that local people also came on the spot and beat the entire four persons in the vehicle. All above four persons namely Rakesh Kumar, Surinder, Lokesh and Babu Ram have been arrested. Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh I/O PS Dhalli.

2.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 128/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 25-06-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Bhupinder Kumar S/o Sh. Jiya Lal R/o VPO Sainj, Teh Sunni, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 25-06-13 at 7:45 PM when he was going to Shimla in his vehicle No. HP-52A-5071 near Tunnel 103 one vehicle Innova car No. HR-70B-1428 came rashly and hit his vehicle. Due to this accident he along with Madan Lal and Sh. Gita Ram sustained injuries and ran away from the spot. Case is being investigated by PSI Rajesh Prasher I/o PS West.

3.     A RIOT case FIR No. 129/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 26-06-13 U/S 147, 149 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pankaj Kumar S/o Sh. Bhudh Ram R/o VPO Dandi-Gunsa, Teh Rohru, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on today at 10:30 AM when he was at ISBT Tuti Kandi for labourers to apple season. He met with a cricket team, who wait the bus to Rohru for Match. When he helps them to arrange vehicle, Pradhan Taxi Union ISBT called nad beat him along with 15/20 persons. Case is being investigated by PSI Rajesh Prasher I/o PS West.

4.     A THEFT case FIR No. 130/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 26-06-13 on the complaint of Sh. Gurmeet Singh Rajput Railway Station Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 25/26-06-13 some unknown persons has stolen away the purse of his wife from his house. This purse contains 1 gold ring, 1 pair silver Pajeb, School stamp, some important documents & Cash Rs. 4,000/-. Total cost of stolen property is Rs. 78,000/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Mast Ram I/o PS West.

5.     A HURT case FIR No. 73/13 is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 26-06-13 U/S 452, 323, 506, 504, 34 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Aina Devi W/o Sh. Sada Nand R/o Vill Jogesha, Teh K/sain, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 25/26-06-13 persons namely Chet Ram & Het Ram entered in her house and beat her alone with her husband without any reason, due to this they sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by LHC Sita I/o PS Kumarsain.

6.     A TRESPASS case FIR No. 74/13 is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 26-06-13 U/S 451, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chet Ram S/o Sh. Shobha Ram R/o Vill Jogesha, Teh K/sain, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 25/26-06-13 three persons namely Sada Nand , Sanjay & Nikka Ram entered in his premises and beat him, due to this he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by HC Dev Raj I/o PS Kumarsain.

7.     During last 24 hours 258 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules and 07 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA is Rs. 44,000/-.
