1. A BURGLARY case FIR No. 56/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 19-06-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the statement of Smt. Pooja Chauhan W/o Sh. Prem Chauhan R/o Shweta Bhawan, New Flowerdale, Chhota Shimla, alleging therein that on 19-06-13 when she was on the upper story of her house some unknown person has stolen away some Jewellery and cash Rs. 4800/-. Total cost of Stolen property is Rs. 2,00,000/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Het Ram I/O PS East Shimla.
2. During last 24 hours 194 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 11 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005) and 1 challan under Mining Act. The total amount of compounding fee of Challans under MV, COPTA & Mining Act is Rs. 38,800/-.
