CRIME REPORT 21 JUNE

1.     A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No 29/13 is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 20-06-13 U/S 341, 323, 504 IPC on the complaint of Khajju Ram S/o Sh. Kaliya R/o Vill Bhatgarh, PO Pabahan, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 20-06-13 one person named Sh. Bhangu Ram obstruct his way, beat him and abuse him. Case is being investigated By ASI Kalyan Singh I/o PS Nerwa.

2.     A HURT case FIR No. 26/13 is registered at Police Station Chopal on 21-06-13 U/S 452, 147, 148, 149, 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kamal Chand S/o Sh. Sindhya Ram R/o Vill Kayal, PO Pulbahal, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 20-06-13 at 10:00 PM his relative namely Kamal Chand S/o Sh. Kumbia Ram came to his house along with his wife namely Mastu Devi, his sons namely Nittu, Bittu, Son-in-law Shishu, Sodhi and Ashi Devi and beat him and his wife Smt. Satya Devi. Case is being is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal I/O PS Chopal.

3.     A CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION case FIR No. 122/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 21-06-13 U/S 353, 506 IPC on the report of ASI Hari Singh Traffic Wing Shimla that on 21-06-13 at 10:00 AM during traffic duty along with LC Rajani at Vidhan Sabha Crossing, he received a massage that one Vehicle No. DL-4CAN-1081 having black glasses crosses old Bus Stand Shimla and challaned. When the above vehicle reached his location, he told him for black glasses, on this driver got angry, abuse him and came to blow him. Case is being investigated by SO PS West Shimla.

4.     A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 91/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 21-06-13 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Virender Sharama S/o Sh. Girdhari Lal R/o Vill Kathoula, PO Janer Ghat, Junga, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 20-06-13 when he came Ambala to his house, he found persons namely Om Parkash his wife Uma Devi, Puraniya Ram and his wife Surtu Devi working in his field. When he asked them for his field, they start abuse & beat him. Case is being investigated by ASI Parkash Chand I/C PP Junga.

5.     A THEFT case FIR No. 92/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 21-06-13 U/S 379, 511, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mahesh Ram S/o Sh. Harg Ram R/o Hari Nagar, Shimla, alleging therein that on 20-06-13 at 11:30 PM he and other villagers found that persons namely Kailash @ Vicky R/o Chanabag, Tarun S/o Sant Ram R/o Sumiser, Mandholghat & Het Ram @ Monu R/o Shavali were trying to steal diesel from Tipper & other vehicles at Basantpur.  Tarun was apprehended and two other accused escaped from the spot.  Case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar I/c PP Sunni.

6.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 107/12 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 21-06-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Namender Singh R/o Vill Rajpur, PO Bharawali, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 21-06-13 at 1:30 PM one vehicle Tipper No. HP-06A-4172 driven by driver Raj Kumar, hit his Auto car No. HP-50-0608 near Nirsu due to which he and other two persons namely Anil Kumar and Leela Devi sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS Rampur.

7.     During last 24 hours 155 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 06 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of Challans under MV, COPTA & Mining Act is Rs. 21,000/-.
