CRIME REPORT 23 JUNE

1.      A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 27/13 is registered at Police Station Chopal on 23-06-13 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Meera Devi W/o Sh. Amar Singh R/o Vill Kujha, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla, a;;eging therein that on 21-06-13 at 7:15 AM when she came back home from village Kujah, near the house of Mohan Singh one Smt. Savta Devi W/o Sh. Mohan Singh wrongfully obstructed her way and beat her. Case is being investigated by ASI Suhbash Chand I/C PP Kupvi.

2.      A DOG BITE case FIR No. 34/13 is registered at Police Station Chirgaon on 23-06-13 U/S 289 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Padam Dev S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Vill Barseel, Teh Chirgaon, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 18-06-13 when he was going to his land, dog of Devinder Singh S/o Late Sh. Budhi Singh R/o Vill Barseel, Teh Chirgaon, Distt Shimla bite him, on that Devinder Singh say to pay for treatment but did not Pay till now. Case is being investigated by HHC Shishi Ram I/o PS Chirgaon.

3.      A BURGLARY case FIR No.   is registered at Police Station at Jubbal on 23-06-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mela Ram Sharma R/o Vill Nehnar, Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 22/23-06-13 some unknown person has stolen away idol of Mahasu Devta, Chhatter and some ornaments from the Temple of Mahasu Devta near Village Sundli. Cost of stolen items is Rs. 1,50,000/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Raj Kumar I/O PS Jubbal.

4.      An ENDANGERING LIFE OF OTHERS case FIR No. 124/13 is registered at Polie Station West Shimla on 22-06-13 U/S 336, 506 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Suman Khattar W/o Sh. Jatinder Kumar R/o Khattar Niwas near Hotel Asia The Down, Tara Devi Shimla, alleging therein that she is the resident of her house since 20/25 years, last 2/3 months her neighbor namely Sh. Charanpreet Singh constructing his house through contractor Amanpreet Singh, due to the construction work her house affect and dangerous to her life. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagi Rath I/o PS West, Shimla.

5.      A CHEATING case FIR No. 57/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 22-06-13 U/S 420, 120B IPC on the complaint of Mr. Vishal Bhardwaj S/o Sh. Vijay Kumar R/o C/o  Wigs Academy, 75/5 Ram Bazar, Shimla, alleging therein that persons namely Smt. Laxmi Devi, her two daughters and her son-in-law cheated him. They told him that, they have some property for sale and they required some money. He gave amount Rs. 1,75,000/- them in lieu of land, but later he came to know that there was no property registered on their name. Case is being investigated by ASI Het Ram I/O PS East, Shimla.

6.      A DOG BITE case FIR No. 58/13 is registered at Police station East Shimla on 23-06-13 U/S 289 IPC on the complaint of V K Sharma S/o Late Sh. Dina Nath Sharma R/o Home Turf Cottage No. 3, Aira Home, Shimla alleging therein that when he and his wife went for walk with his dog, another dog of Mr. Rati Ram Sharma attacked him and he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by ASI Kewal Singh I/O PS East, Shimla.

7.      During last 24 hours 149 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 17 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005) and 3 challaned inder 114 Police Act . The total amount of compounding fee of challaned under MV Act & COPTA is Rs. 30,700/-.
