Crime Report on Feb. 20, 2019

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 46/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 19.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sheesh Pal, I/O PS Sadar Shimla on 19.02.2019, different Police teams have been formed under the supervision of Addl. SP (City) Shimla & ADM (L&O) Shimla, for the searching of suspicious objects in the dharas at Down-Dale Phagli Shimla. At about 03-30 PM, during the search, 20 Gram Ganja recovered, concealed by some unknown person between the stone wall on Down-Dale road. The case is being investigated by HC Sheesh Pal, I/O PS Sadar Shimla.

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 45/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 19.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Krishan Lal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.02.2019, during patrolling alongwith staff at Down-Dale Shimla, 12 Bottles of Country liquor have been recovered from the Dhara of Ravi R/o Down-Dale Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Krishan Lal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.  

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 44/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 19.02.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Tarun S/o Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/o Tarun Niwas, Chalonthi, Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that driver of vehicle No. HP21B-3870 negligently turned his car and after crushed his foot run away from the spot.

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 22/19 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 20.02.2019 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Dev Raj S/o Lt. Sh. Sant Ram R/o Village Kathla, PO Jai Nagar, Tehsil Arki, District Shimla, age 52 years stated therein that he is driving the vehicles of Lokayukta, Himachal Pradesh since 1990. Today at about 10-47 AM, he was going to Dhalli  from Lokayukta office by driving Car No. HP07C—2331 (Toyota Etios). As he reached near Vuddys Restaurant Nav Bahar, at the same time one motorcycle came rashly with negligent driving and after hitting his car, run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Rajneesh, I/O PS East Shimla.     

5.  During last 24 hours 256 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 66 and 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 43/19 has been registered at PS Sadar on dated 18.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Piar Singh No. 140, I/O PS Sadar Shimla on 18.02.2019 at about 04-30 PM, one persons namely Amrit Pal S/o Sh. Makhan Singh, R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Sultanpur, Lodhi, District Kapoorthala, Punjab A/P MG Saloon Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 23 years intercepted and recovered 20 Gram Heroin from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Dinesh No. 97, I/O PS Sadar.

2.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 29/19 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 19.02.2019 U/S 20, 29 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Kuldeep Kumar No. 132, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on the intervening night of 18/19.02.2019 at about 01-30 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff one vehicle No. HP95-6055 alongwith two persons namely Nishant Verma S/o Sh. Ranjeet R/o Nahal, Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla, male 24 years & Rohit S/o Sh. Pune Ram, age 18 years, R/o Village Nirmand, District Kullu, intercepted by them near Khopri (Rampur) and during the search 6 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh Kumar No. 17, I/O PS Rampur.

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 21/19 has been registered at PS East on 19.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Bhupender I/O PS East, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.02.2019 at about 01-30 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Daulat Ram @ Gattu S/o Sh. Shalku Ram R/o Village Fedog, PO Bakras, Tehsil Shilai, Distt Sirmour A/P Kanungo Building Vikasnagar, Shimla-9, Age 38 years intercepted and recovered 36 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Santra No.-1 from his possession.

4.    During last 24 hours 357 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 116, 10 persons challaned under Smoking Act and 02 challan under Mining Act.

AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 16/19 has been registered at PS Rohru on 18.02.2019 U/S 279 337 338 IPC on the rukka of HC Parmod Kumar, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 17.02.2019 at about 09-45 PM, one Scooty, which was on the way towards Rohru from Patsari, met with an accident near Paouditaal due to rash & negligent driving of Ravi S/o Sh. Veer Bahadur R/o Village Pitmari, PO & Tehsil Kolpur, District Banke Anchal Rapti, Nepal, age 28 years, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Parmod Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.
2. A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 42/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 17.02.2019 U/S 420 120B IPC & 7 The Prevention of Malpractice at University Board of other specified Examination Act on the complaint of Superintendent-Asstt. Principal, Centre No.-1, Utkrishat Shiksha Kendra, Govt. College Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that one candidate bearing Roll No. 29000280 caught by them in copy case with the help of device during examination held at Govt. Degree College, Sanjauli, Shimla. 
3. A HOUSE TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 27/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 18.02.2019 U/S 452 323 504 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jitender Kumar S/o Sh. Binder Singh R/o Village Unnad, PO Troh, Tehsil Balh, District Mandi A/P Asstt. Engineer, Sai Project Karari Rampur Shimla alleging therein that yesterday mid-night at about 12-00 AM, one person namely Sanjeev Kumar R/o Village Khanotu, entered in his residential quarter/room and started to abuse him. He also beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ten Singh, I/C PP Taklech, Rampur. 
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 18/19 has been registered at PS Rohru 18.02.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Inder Singh S/o Sh. Nehru Mal R/o Village & PO Karasa, Tehsil Rohru, District Shimla stated therein that on 18.02.2019 at about 11-30 AM, one vehicle No. HP63D-0333 came rashly with negligent driving and after hitting a lady, run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Jai Lal, I/O PS Rohru. 
5. During last 24 hours 302 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 160 and 23 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

Prakash Chand R/o Village Rajtari, PO Kalbog, Tehsil Kotkhai, District Shimla, age 21 years intercepted by them and during the search 0.17 Gram Chitta (Heroin) has been recovered from his possession. 2.    A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 07/19 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 16.02.2019 U/S 447, 427 IPC & 26 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Block Forest Officer, forest Beat Himari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that a person namely Ram Nath constructed the road & damaged forest land. The approximate value of damaged forest land is Rs. 10, 23, 000/-. The case is being investigated by HC Sunil, I/O PS Kotkhai.

3.    A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 11/19 has been registered at PS Sunni on 16.02.2019 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Shashi Bhushan S/o Sh. Meena Ram Sharma R/o Village & PO Ghaini, Tehsil Sunni, District Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 15/16.02.2019, some unknown person has broken the Tower Cabin of Bharti Airtel Mobile Company near Village Shaloo, Sunni and stolen away 24 Nos. of Battery Cells. The approximate value of stolen Batteries is Rs. 2,50,000/-. Two persons namely Nazeer Husain @ Abhishek @ Sunny S/o Sh. Raj Mohd., Latif Mohd. R/o Khalsai, PO Jablu Tehsil Jhanduta, District Bilaspur, age 26 years and Rajesh Kumar S/o Lt. sh. Gobind Ram R/o Village & PO Arsu, Tehsil & PS Nirmand, District Kullu, age 26 years have been arrested by the police and recovered all stolen property from their possession. The case is being investigated by SI Jai Dev, SHO PS Sunni, Shimla.

Crime Report on Feb. 16, 2019

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 14/19 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 15.02.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Jagjeet Singh, SNCC (Fu) Shimla Range, State CID, Shimla-6 alleging therein that on 15.02.2019 at about 01-00 PM, during checking of vehicles alongwith staff on National Highway No.-05, near Sainj, one person namely  Swaroop Chand S/o Sh. Chandu Ram R/o Village Panakhad, PO Gaad, Tehsil Anni, Distrit Kullu, age 31 years, who was going on foot towards Rampur from Sainj, intercepted by them. During the search, 1.376 Kg. Charas has been recovered from his possession. Above accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by Insp. Phool Singh, SHO PS Kumarsain.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 15/19 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Shanti Swaroop, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 15.02.2019 at about 09-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Govind S/o Sh. Chander Bahadur R/o Village Rolpa PS Livang, Anchal Rapti, Nepal, Age 50 years A/P Servant in Dhanu Dhaba, Rohru apprehended by them near Nittu Petrol Pump at Rohru and recovered 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Santra No.-1 from his possession.

Crime Report on Feb. 15, 2019

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 14/19 has been registered at PS Chopal on 15.02.2019 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Ramesh Kumar, I/O PS Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that on 14.02.2019 at about 10-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP08A-1969 (Bolero Camper) met with an accident near Lalpani and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Mohan Deshta S/o Sh. Dulla Ram R/o Village Marawag, Tehsil Chopal Shimla. In this accident, one person namely Lokinder R/o village Ghreen, PO Makrog, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, died on the spot and driver Mohan Deshta sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ramesh Kumar, I/O PS Chopal.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 07/19 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 15.02.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Jaswant, I/O PS Nerwa Shimla alleging therein that on 14.02.2019, one Car No. UA-07D-8464, met with an accident near Klara due to rash & negligent driving of Nikhil S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram  R/o Village Serti,  PO Malat, Tehsil Kupvi, District Shimla, sustained injuries to four persons namely Nikhil (driver), ii) Karan S/o Sh. Kali Bahadur, iii) Anil S/o Sh. Balak Ram & iv) Kavin S/o Sh. Ganesh. The case is being investigated by ASI Jaswant, I/O PS Nerwa.

Crime Report on Feb. 14, 2019

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 25/19 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 13.02.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vijay Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Mansa Ram R/o Village Datt, PO Mundaghat, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 34 years stated therein that on 13.02.2019 at about 04-00 PM, a Bus No. HP62A-0723 of Shivalik Nursing School, driven by Shyam Lal came rashly with negligent driving and hit his nephew namely Piyush at Bhattakuffer Bazar, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated P/SI Dimple, I/O PS Dhalli.

2.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 10/19 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 14.02.2019 U/S 420 467 468 471 120B IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Dass R/o Village Peja, PO Kashdhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, District Shimla alleging therein that Smt. Sun Pati D/o Sh. Bansi Lal R/o Village Sunda, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla was the owner of land situated at Sunda-Bonda, Chirgaon, Shimla. After her death on 30.09.2015, she leaving behind four legal heirs namely Sh. Ram Dass (husband), Sh. Dinesh Kumar (Son), Sh. Ramesh Kumar (Son) and Smt. Sanhiya (daughter). One Mr. Attar Singh with the connivance of document writer Sh. Bihari Lal, witness Sh. Misru & Sh. Bavinder Singh  and identifier Ex. Members of GP Diswani have prepared/produced false documents/affidavit and executed false will in the name of Lt. Smt. Sun Pati, with the intention to grab the valuable  land. The case is being investigated by ASI Achhar Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon.   

3.    During last 24 hours 563 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 222, 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act and 02 Challaned under Mining Act.

FOLLOW-UP:

1.  Accused i) Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Amar Nath R/o Beha, Tehsil Naduan, District Hamirpur, & ii) Khem Raj @ Vikku, arrested in case FIR No. 16/19 U/S 420 120B IPC at PS Sadar, Shimla, further remanded in police custody upto 16.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused i) Naresh Wadwa S/o Sh. Tilak Raj Wadwa R/o Chander Nagar, Ludhiana, age 25 years and ii) Sidharth Sharma S/o Sh. Pawan Kumar R/o House No. B-2158, Ward No.-3, Chander Nagar, Ludhiana, Punjab, age 37 years, arrested in case FIR No. 06/19 Dt. 10.02.2019 U/S 20, 25, 29 ND&PS Act at PS Nerwa, Shimla, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

3.    Accused Bharat Rawat S/o Sh. Dhan Bahadur Rawat R/o Jiri, Odda No.-4, PO Palika Barekat, PS Ramidara, Tehsil & District  Jhajarkot, Nepal A/P C/o Nathu Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Hukkam Ram R/o Village Choch Tehsil Bhuntar, District Kullu, HP. Arrested in case FIR No. 131/18 dated 29.09.2018 U/S 363 366 376 IPC & 4, 6 POCSO Act at PS Rorhu is remanded in police custody upto 16.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

4.    Accused Tarun S/o Sh. Hem Raj R/o Village & PO Deem, Tehsil Jubbal, District Shimla arrested in case FIR No.07/19 Dt. 06.02.2019 U/S 363 376 IPC & 4, 6 POCSO Act at PS Nankhari, is remanded in police custody upto 16.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.
