1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 285/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 05.10.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Manoj No. 195, I/O PS West Shimla alleging therein that on 05.10.2018 at about 06-42 PM, on the secret information one person namely Akash Rana S/o Sh. Jagdev Singh R/o Shanti Kutiya, Chakkar, Shimla, age 34 years intercepted by them on Tawi-Chakkar Road and during the search, 40 Tablets of Nitrosun-10 recovered from his possession. The Investigation is being conducted by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS West Shimla.

2.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 223/18 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 06.10.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Narender Kumar  I/O SIU Shimla alleging therein that on 06.10.2018 at about 03-00 PM, during petrolling along with staff P&T Colony near HDFC Bank one person Namely Rathour Rawat S/O Sh. Nand Rawat  R/O Dadagaon, Dali, District Jhajharkot, Nepal age 32years intercepted by them and recovered 198 Gram Charas from his possession. The Case is being investigated by HC Narender Kumar I/O SIU Shimla.

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 149/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 05.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Yusuf S/o Sh. Noordeen R/o Village Batuna P/O Nogli, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening of 05/06.10.2018 at about 01-00 AM, he alongwith his brother Sulemaan was going towards Nogli with their cattels & Buffelows. When they reached near Kishti Point, at the same time one Pick-UP came rashly with negligent driving and after hitting his brother Sulemaan,  run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Singh, I/O PS Rampur.   

4.     During  last 24 hours 317 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 188,  fine realized Rs. 1,08,500/- and 22 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2400/-.

Crime Report on Oct. 05, 2018

1.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 148/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 04.10.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Karam Chand, I/O PS Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 04.10.2018 at about 09-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Chuhabag, on the secret information a raid has been conducted in the dhara of Bir Singh S/o Sh. Tej Ram R/o Village Karthach Tehsil Balichauki, District Mandi and recovered 08 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Karam Chand, Addl. SHO PS Rampur.

2.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 283/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 04.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Aayush Chauhan S/o Sh. Atma Ram Chauhan R/o Village Kujvi PO Madawag, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla A/P Chauhan Niwas, Housing Board Colony, Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that on 04.10.2018, he alongwith his friends were going to Bahara University in vehicle No. HP62A-3338 of Ravinder Parihar. As they reached at Top Gear near Sankat Mochan, a white colour vehicle came by overtaking another vehicle from opposite side.  As Ravinder Parihar turned negligently his vehicle left side to prevent the accident and hit a pedestrian namely Sethi Ram, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Rajender Singh, I/O PS West Shimla.

Crime Report on Oct. 04, 2018

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 204/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 03.10.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli has been registered on the rukka of ASI Tek Ram, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.10.2018 at about 04-55 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Children Park Sanjauli, Shimla,  03 Gram Chitta (Herion) has been recovered from the possession of a person namely Mursleen S/o Umardarag, R/o Badababu Sarjeet Basti,  Nau Kunwa Road, Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, age 28 years. The case is being investigated by ASI Tek Ram, I/O PS Dhalli.

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 118/18 has been registered at PS East Shimla on 03.10.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Baldev Singh, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.10.2018, he alongwith staff was on Patrolling/Traffic checking duty towards Beolia. At about 02-00 PM, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the Tea Stall of Sh. Kuldeep Singh S/o Sh. Padam Singh R/o Village & PO Beolia, Tehsil & District Shimla and recovered 30 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla.

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 135/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 03.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sukh Chain S/o Sh. Fadu Ram R/o Village Kalgaon, PO Pujarli No.-2, Tehsil Rohru, District Shimla alleging therein that on 03.10.2018 at about 04-30 PM, he was going towards village Kalgaon in vehicle No. HP10A-4343 (Scoda Car) driven by Suresh Dutt S/o Lt. Sh. Devi Saran Dutta R/o Village Kalgaon, PO Pujarli No.-2, Rohru Shimla. As the reached about 50 meter behind from Kalgaon Link Road, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 20/25 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Suresh Dutta, sustained injuries to  them. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagi Rath, I/C PP Tikker.

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 206/18 has been registered at PS dhalli today on 04.10.2018 U/S 279,337IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Kuman Singh S/O Late Sh. Ayataman R/O Hari Om  Niwas, Bhatta Kuffer, Shimla  Stated theirin that on 04.10.2018 at 09.00 AM, he was stood on the roadside outside his residence at Bhattakuffer, at the same time, driver of  a van turned back negligently his vehicle and hit him, caused sustained injuries to him. The Case is being investigsted by HC Maan Singh IO PS Dhalli.

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 91/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 02.10.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Jagat Ram, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.10.2018 at about 05-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one Motorcycle No. UP12F-7177 alongwith rider namely Mohd. Khalik S/o Sh. Mohd. Mangta R/o Village Khel Kandla Tehsil Keraana, District Shamli (UP) age 23 years intercepted by them about 1.5 KM ahead from Sandasu and recovered 15 Gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram, I/O PS Chirgaon.

2.     AN EXICSE ACT: Case FIR No. 51/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 02.10.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Jai Dev, SHO PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.10.2018 at about 08-10 PM, during patrolling with staff near Kangri, one person namely Hem Raj S/o Sh. Narpat R/o Village Baag, PO Reog, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 09 Bottles of Country liquor. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Jai Dev, I/O PS Sunni.

3.     A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 279/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla today on 03.10.2018 U/S 147, 148, 323, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Hukkami Ram R/o Village Gawahi, PO Kuffar Kayara, Tehsil Nohra, District Sirmaur, HP alleging therein that he is conductor in  Pant Travel (Private Bus). On 03.10.2018, he was going Bus Stand Shimla from Totu in Pant Bus, at the same time owner of  Pvt. Bus Prabhat Travel, came there & started to scuffle with him and threatened with dire consequences. On this, he registered complaint against him at PP Jutough. After that, owner of Prabhat travel alongwith Surender, Bunty Lali, Chunni Lal, Kaka, Bittu & four another persons again beaten him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh.

4.     A CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 280/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 03.10.2018 U/S 323 504 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mahender Singh S/o Sh. Dev Raj Thakur R/o Village Kot, PO Sayari, Tehsil Kandaghat, District Solan, age 36 years alleging therein that today on 03.10.2018 at about 09-20 PM, a conductor of Pant Bus abused him and attacked on his head with wooden rod and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh.

5.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 99/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 03.10.2018 U/S 420 IPC in which complainant alleged that on 19/20.08.2018, she received a message on her mobile regarding installation of JIO Tower in her land and asked her to deposited Rs. 1350/-, 22600/-, 30500/- & 17400/- respectfully in four installments. But now, neither the caller came to install the Tower in her land, nor returned her money and cheated her. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Dutt, I/C PP Sarahan.

6.   AN UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY: Case FIR No. 90/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 03.10.2018 U/S 341 143 IPC on the rukka of ASI Amar Nath, I/O PS Jubbal, Shimla alleging therein that today at about 11-30 AM, activists of Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress led by Sh. Munish Thakur, Vijay Chauhan, Narinder Pal, Moti Lal, Vikram Kanwar & others assemble at Jubbal Bazar by shouting slogans against state govt. and organized a Chakka Jam for not through the Kotkhai-Shimla Road blocked at Pattidhank due to landslide since many days. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/O PS Jubbal.

Crime Report on October 02, 2018

1.      A ND&PS Act : Case FIR No. 117/18 has baan regsistered at PS East on  01.10.18 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Ashwani Kumar, I/C SIU Shimla alleging therein that on 01.10.2018 at about 06-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Anchit Justa S/o Sh. Yash Justa R/o Engine Ghar, Sanjauli, Shimla intercepted by them near Chudail Boudi above Himfed Petrol Pump Chhota Shimla and recovered one packet of LSD Stamp from his possession. The case is being investigated by Ashwani Kumar, I/C SIU Shimla.

2.      A Murder :Case FIR No. 198/18 has been registered at PS Theog on  01.10.2018 U/S 302 IPC PS Theog on the statement of Sh. Ram Lal S/o Sh. Kesar Singh R/o Village Bithudhar, PO Cheog, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that  he has a Nepali namely Ram Singh, who works in his land/field. In the morning of 01.10.2018 at about 07-00 AM, he alongwith his nepali Ram Singh went to Cheoli Nalah to connect the pipe line. When they were coming back and saw that one Nepali person was lying dead with blood stained injuries in the grassland at village Tehna. He doubts that some unknown person has killed him.

3.      A Mischief by fire: Case FIR No 112/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on  02.10.2018  U/S  435 IPC on the  statement of Durga Dass  R/o village Sadrona P/O Chopal Tehsil Chopal alleging therein that on dated 02.10.2018  an unknown person has set the fire in his car No HP 02A-0530. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender I/O PS Chopal.

4.      A Rioting :Case FIR No.37/18 has been registered at PS Kupvi on 02.10.2018 U/S 147,149, 506, 323 IPC on the complaint of Ratti Ram S/o Sh Bhinder Singh R/o village Mashrahan P/o Dhar Channa Tehsil Kupvi Distt Shimla alleging there in that today, 02.10.2018 Prakash, Ram lal and Naresh Sons of Sh Shankru Ram, Dinesh and Dhaju Sons of Dhansia all R/o of village Bhallu Tehsil Kupvi Distt Shimla beaten him bruatelly and threatened him with dire consequences.The case is being investigated by ASI Subhash I/o PS Kupvi.

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 146/18 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 01.10.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the ruka of SI Ganga Dev, I/C PP City Rampur alleging therein that today at about 07-55 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Shingla Bifurcation, three persons namely Vinay Thakur S/o Sh. Sanjeev Thakur R/o Village Bayal, PO Koyal, Tehsil Nirmand, Kullu, age 22 years ii) Mayur Verma S/o SH. Suresh Kumar R/o Ward No.-5, Rampur Bsr. Shimla, age 29 years and iii) Sohan Lal S/o Sh. Ram Dayal R/o Village Kathanda PO Jadoli, Tehsil Niramnd, District Kullu, age 25 years intercepted by them and recovered 25 Gram Chitta (Heroin) from their possession. The case is being investigated by SI Ganga Dev, I/O PS Rampur.  

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 94/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 30.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajvinder Singh, I/O PS New Shimla alleging therein that on 30.09.2018, during patrolling/ traffic checking along with staff at Rajhana, one person namely Jia Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Shyam Lal R/o Village Daunti, PO Kahla, Tehsil Kandaghat, District Solan, HP A/P C/o  Sh. Baldev Sharma R/o Village & PO Rajhana, Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of Country liquor. The case is being investigated by  ASI Rajvinder Singh, I/O PS New Shimla.

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 197/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 30.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp./SHO PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 30.09.2018, he along with staff was on  patrolling/ collection of intelligence towards Chaithla. On the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the dhaba of Mahender Singh Verma S/o Sh. Het Ram Verma R/o Bisadi, PO Sandhu, Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla A/P running a dhaba at Jaisghati, Theog and  Recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor, from his possession. The case is being investigated by Insp./SHO PS Theog.

4.    A UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY: Case FIR No. 132/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 01.10.2018 U/S 341, 143 IPC on the rukka of HC Pramod Kumar, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on law & order duty at Rohru Bazar. At about 11-30 AM, about 25 Congress Workers under the leadership of Sh. Sujay Agrawal- President Youth Congress Rohru, Sh. Vijay Chauhan, Sh. Virender Negi, Ravi Rawat, Virender Thakur, Ravi Rawat, Virender Thakur & others assembled at Old Bus Stand Rohru by shouting slogans against state govt. for not through the Kotkhai- Shimla Road blocked at Pattidhank which is due to landslide. The case is being investigated by HC Pramod Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.   

5.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 111/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 30.09.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Babu Ram R/o Village Leunan PO Pulbahal Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 22 years stated therein that a HRTC Bus No. HP03B-6158 met with an accident near village Chandpur Khaddar and rolled down from the road due to negligence driving of Ravinder S/o Sh. Jernail Singh. In this accident two persons namely Mrs. Priyanka W/o Sh. Sudesh R/o Village Khaddar, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 28 years & Sh. Vidya Dutt S/o SH. Lachhi Ram R/o Village Khaddar, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 52 years died and   07 persons namely i) Sanjay Kumar (Conductor) S/o Sh. Dhyan Singh R/o Village Hamlog, Palampur, Kangra, age 39 years ii)  Sh. Sudesh S/o Sh. Mangat Ram R/o Village Khaddar, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla age 38 years iii) Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Babu Ram R/o Village Leunan PO Pulbahal Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 22 years iv)  Ravinder (Driver) S/o Sh. Jernail Singh R/o Manosihaal, Pathankot, age 38 years v) Sanvi D/o Sh. Sudesh R/o Village Khaddar, Tehsil Chopal, Age 3 years vi) Yuaana D/o Sh. Sudesh R/o Village Khaddar, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 2 years sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by Insp. Hari Singh, SHO PS Chopal, Shimla.

6. During  last 24 hours 395 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 139,  fine realized Rs. 57,000/- and 05 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 600/-.

1.    Accused Vipul Thakur S/o Sh. Chattar Singh Thakur R/o Village & PO Masali, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 197/18 Dt. 26.09.2018 U/S 21, 25 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

2.  Accused Sahab Nath S/o Sh. Udhmi Nath R/o Village Rangmahal Tehsil & PS Sooratgarh District Gangasagar, Rajasthan, age 27 years and Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand R/o Village & Tehsil Alnabad, District Sirsa, Haryana, age 18 years, arrested in case FIR No. 195/18 Dt. 27.09.2018 U/S 420 468 471 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 01.10.2018, by the Ld. Court.

3.    Accused i) Santosh S/o Sh. Roop Lal & ii) Anurag S/o Sh. Hira Singh (Both) R/o Village Lalen, PO Morang, Tehsil Morang, District Kinnuar, HP arrested in case FIR No. 107/18 Dt. 30.09.2018 U/S 20, 29 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, are remanded in police custody upto 03.10.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4.  Accused Ganesh @ Bhundar S/o Sh. Dhanpat R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Kalanaur, District Rohtak, Haryana, age 30 years and Rahul Kumar @ Sardar S/o Sh. Raj Kumar R/o House No. 5194, Arroriean, State Chotibaradri, Tehsil & District Patiala, Punjab, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 144/18 Dt. 29.09.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, are remanded in police custody upto 02.10.2018, by the Ld. Court.  

5.    Accused i) Vinay Thakur S/o Sh. Sanjeev Thakur R/o Village Bayal, PO Koyal, Tehsil Nirmand, Kullu, age 22 years ii) Mayur Verma S/o SH. Suresh Kumar R/o Ward No.-5, Rampur Bsr. Shimla, age 29 years and iii) Sohan Lal S/o Sh. Ram Dayal R/o Village Kathanda PO Jadoli, Tehsil Niramnd, District Kullu, age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 146 Dt. 01.10.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, are being produced before Ld. Court.
