Press Note  Dated 07-11-2014

1.    A Cheating case FIR No. A case FIR no 123/14 has been registered at PS Rohru on  6-11-14  u/s 420 IPC on the application of Sh. Dinesh Bindra s/o Sh. B.S Bindra r/o Bindra cottage  Dhingoo Mandir road Sanjauli Shimla  (A/P H.O.D Eltx.E) alleging therein that on  08-09-14 he regd. an online complaint against SBI Branch Sawra for not issuing a pass book.  Subsequently, he received a call from mob. No 08521309552  on his mob. No  94182-33477 and told his name Rahul and asked for deposit the Rs. 10/- as complaint fee and also asked for ATM details. After that complainant received a message reg. withdrawal of Rs. 12570/-.  The above person cheated him and fraudulently withdrawal the Rs. 12570/- from his account. The case is being  investigated by ASI Bal Raj  I/O PP City Rohru.

2.    An Accident case FIR No 134/14 has been registered at PS East on 06-11-2014 U/S 279,337 on the Statement of Dipankur Malhotra  S/O Vinod Kumar Malhotra R/O Shiv Nager Mehali alleging therein  that on 06-11.14 when he was standing at Housing Board Colony Bus Stand Mehali, at the same time a tempo No HP64-5702 came from Panthaghati side and hit him. Tempo was driven by Devinder S/O Prittam Dass R/O Thund P/O Satlai Tehsil Distt. Shimla. The Case is being investigated by HC Shiv Kumar I.O PS East, Shimla.  

3.    An Accident case FIR No 143/14 has been registered at PS Rampur on 07-11-2014 U/S 279,337 on the Statement of Jai Mohan S/o Sh. Malla Ram R/o Darwadi PO Kwar Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 05-11-14 at about 07-30 am when he was going toward Govt.Sen.Sec. School Nankhari with his cattle's, at the same one A/F Maruti car came toward Nankhari and hit him. In this accident complainant sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Hari Singh. 

4.    An Excise act case FIR NO 50/14 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 06-11-2014 U/S 39 HP EX.Act.  on the rukka of ASI Sher Singh I/O PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 06-11-2014 when he alongwith staff  was patrolling duty at Bus Stand Jhakri,  at the same time one Lady namely Thuli Devi w/o Sh Kancha Lama R/O Tatopani tehsil & Distt. Bara Bishe odda No. 4 Nepal A/P Raheri market Jhakri tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla (H.P) found selling illegal local wine at large scale at her house.  The Case is being investigated by ASI Sher Singh I/O PS Jhakri.

 

5.    During last 24 hours 134 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 01 challan under smoking act.  Total challan were compound= 50 and fine realize Rs. 12,700/-

1.    A  Theft case FIR NO. 172/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 05-11-14 U/S 379,427,447 IPC received u/s 156(3) Crpc on the complaint of Sh.  Dila Ram R/o Chuk Mahog Pargana Rajana, Tehsil Theog alleging therein that he has land dispute with Joginder Singh S/o Chet Ram and his companion on Khasra No. 264,322 and Hon'ble court has passed stay order in the matter till further order. But, on 12-10-14 when complainant and his brother went on plot they found that Joginder Singh and his family were theft the grass from the Khasra No. 264,322 which cause damage to complainant. The case is being investigated by ASI Lajja Ram PS Theog.  

2.    An Accident case FIR No 92/14  has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 05-11-2014 u/s 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Ram Krishan I/O PS Kumarsain  alleging therein that one Santro car coming from Narkanda to Kumarsain met with an accident and rolled down 50 meters from the road near Dhoja due to rash and negligent driving of  Sanjeev kumar  driver of the vehicle. Sanjeev Kumara and Bhagat Singh sustained injuries in the accident. The Case is being investigated by HC Krishan Lal  I/O PS Kumarsain .

3.    A Lurking House Tresspass Case FIR NO. 144/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 05-11-14 U/S 454,380 IPC on the application of Sh. Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Amar Dass R/o Dev Niwas Sapan Kunj Lower Kaithu Shimla alleging there in that he is working in the News Paper Punjab Kesri. On 05-11-2014 when her wife reached at home after receiving children from school she found that the lock of main door was broken and 2 pair hear ring, nose pin, mangalsutra  etc. were stolen by unknown person. The case is being investigated by HC Amarnath I.O PP Lakkar Bazar PS Sadar

4.    An accident case FIR No. 218/14 has been registered at PS West on 06-11-14 u/s 279, 337, 304A IPC on the Rukka of ASI Mohan Lal I.O. P.S. west  alleging therein that on 06-11-2014 one Maruti car No. HP53-1157 was coming towards Shoghi and Tipper No. HP64-7711 was going  towards Shoghi. When both vehicle reached near Taradevi PWD workshop , The driver of tipper Tilak Raj hit the car by  rash and negligent  driving.  In this incident Car driver Shiv Kumar died on the spot and his companion Mahender sustained serious injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal.

5.    A Cheating Case, FIR No 145/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 06-11-14 U/S 420 IPC on the statement of Sh Vinod Kumar Chauhan S/O Sh Shama Nand R/O Vill. Lambi Dhar PO Dhalli Tehsil and Distt Shimla alleging there in that he have saving Account No 042700010675 in Punjab National Bank The Mall Shimla. on 22-10-14 unknownn person withdrawal  Rs 50020/- from his Account through ATM at Sant Nagar and Bhawa Nagar. The Case is being investigated by ASI Lachhmi Singh I/O P.S Sadar Shimla

1.    A Rioting Case FIR NO. 143/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 04-11-14 U/S 451,147,149,323,427,506 on the Statement of Sh. Sunny S/O Sh. Ratti Ram Vill Dhiriana PO Nainidhar PO Shilai Distt Sirmour at present Manager Aucksland Hotel Lakkar Bazar Shimla alleging therein that on 04-11-2014 near about 08-30 PM when he alongwith other staff of hotel was taking dinner, at the same time Amit verma & other 5/6 persons came in the hotel and asked for stay in the hotel. All persons were under the influence of alcohol. When they refused to give them room, all persons beaten, him & Desraj  in which they sustained injuries. The accused persons also broken the 4 TV, wall watch, glasses of the door and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Subhash I/O PP Lakkar Bazar PS Sadar Distt. Shimla.

2.    A Cheating  Case FIR No. 133/14 has been registered at PS East on 04.11.2014 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jas Pal S/O Sh. Hari Ram R/O Nikumal Building Himland Shimla alleging therein that he saw a advertisement on news paper reg Visa. On this he contact with an agent namely Tarun Kuthiyala regarding foreign visa and provide him personal document and Rs. 4,35,000/- cash, but now he did not attend the phone calls nor paid the amount to complainant. The case is being investigated ASI Het Ram I/O PS East, Distt. Shimla

3.            A Gambling Act Case FIR No 91/14 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 04-11-2014 U/S 3 Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Ramesh kumar I/O PP Narkanda alleging therein that he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty from Narkanda to Shillaroo. When he reached at Shillaroo dhar alongwith staff at the same time five persons namely Surinder singh s/o Hari Singh , Prakash Chand s/o Dila Ram , Sher Singh s/o Jai Ram , Bihari Lal s/o Mast Ram , Shyam Lal s/o Hiru Ram were found playing gambling and recovered 10,130/-. 4.              An Accident Case FIR 140/14 has been registered at PS Rampur on 05-11-14 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Suraj S/O Sh Prem Bahadur V.PO. Sainikhal Tehsil Khalanga Distt. Salyan Rapti Anchal Nepal alleging therein That on 05-11-2014 at about 8.30 am one Trector met with an accident at Rajpura due to rash & negligent driving of driver Budhi Singh S/O Sh. Balvir Singh Nepali and three persons namely Budhi Ram, Ganga Ram & Complainant Suraj sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Lal Chand I/O PS Rampur Distt. Shimla.

Crime Report on 04 November 2014

1.       A Murder case FIR No. 121/14 has been register at PS Rohru on 04-11-2014 U/S 302 IPC on the application of Sh. Hans Raj Fishta S/o Late Sh. Chewri Ram R/o Kralash (Niharla) PO Kansakoti Tehsil Rohru alleging therein that on intervening night of 27/28-11-2014 some unknown person has beaten his brother  Prithvi Raj mercilessly, in which he sustained injuries and thrown him into the road. On dated 28-10-14 his brother found near Samala without clothes and he took him to IGMC Shimla. During surgery his brother died in the IGMC Shimla. The case is being investigated by Insp/ SHO Rohru Amar Chand PS Rohru.

2.       A Theft case FIR No. 170/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 3-11-14 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Assistant Engineer Electric Sub-Division Electricity Department alleging therein that on intervening night of 25-10-14 unknown person theft the oil and outlet of the 250 KV transformer installed at Parala which cause damage to transformer. The case is being investigated by HC Sadhu Ram I/C PP  Chaila PS Theog.

3.    An accident case FIR No.  171/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 04-11-14 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Parkash Thapa S/o Khadak Bhadur R/o eloy choor ward No. 07 PO Dhusra Tehsil Latikewli Aanchal Beri Distt. Surket Nepal A/P Servent Hira Negi Bajrapul alleging therein that on 03-11-14 he was going in vehicle no. CH-03-4842 to his residence. When the vehicle reached near Parala the driver of vehicle Pinku Chauhan lost the control over vehicle and it rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of driver. One person died on the spot and other sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Teja Singh I.O PS Theog.

4.    A Burglary case FIR No. 63/14 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 03-11-2014 U/S 457,380,511 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ramesh s/o Jai ram r/o Standli Tehsil Kotkhai District Shimla at present Asstt. Manager HP state Co-operative  Bank Branch Kiari alleging there in that on the intervening night some unknown culprits broken the lock of main entrance gate, door and locker of Bank at HP State Co-opreative Bank branch Kiari, but nothing has been found stolen/misplaced . The case is being investigated by HC Balbir Singh IO PS Kotkhai.

5.    A Burglary case FIR No 90/14 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 03-11-2014 U/S 457,380 IPC on the statement of Sh Manoj Kumar S/O Sh Jeet Ram Sharma R/O Village Batara PO Bhalwag Tehsil and PS Kumarsain Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 02-11-2014 he locked his Shop and went to home. On  03-11-2014 when he reached at his Shop and fond that Some Unknown person broken the door of his shop and stolen away 32 Mobile Phone Marka Nokia , Sam sung , Lawa , Arise JIVI & INTEX Company cost 45053 , one camera Marka Pena sonic RS, 16000/- , One Camera Nikon Company Rs 27950/- and one battery of handy camp camera the total value of stolen property is RS 91,863/- .  The Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Kumar I,O PS Kumarsain

6.    A Wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation case FIR No. 64/14 has been registered at PS Kotkhai IPC on 03-11-2014 U/S 341,323,427,506,34 on the complaint of Sh. Tara Chand S/o Chabi Ram Vill Baghal PO  Gelha Tehsil Kotkhai alleging therein that on 03-11-2014 when he was going to his room by car, at the same time Sudarshan, Kaku,  Prince R/o Vill Gwach PO Kalbog tehsil Kotkhai obstructed his way and beaten him and threatened with dire consequences and  also damaged his car. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir Singh I/O PS Kotkhai.

1.    Assault or criminal force to deter  public servant from discharge of his duty Case FIR No 132/14 has been registered at PS East on 02.11.2014 U/S 353,332,342,504,506 IPC on the statement  of Const. Ashwani Kumar No. 441 Posted at PAR Mehali alleging  therein that on 02.11.2014 at about 01.30 am when he was on duty, one person at Mehali Chowak was making obstruction to Local People. On this he tried to stop him but accused person started scramble and abusing him and C. Hemant No. 1313.  After that at 02.45 PM above person came again, when applicant was present in the Police Picket on duty, accused person bolt the Police Picket from outside and spray/splashed kerosene oil on the door of Police Picket, applicant come out with the help of C. Hemant No. 1313, but accused  person run away from the spot and threatened him. Subsequently person identified as Lokesh @ Biku S/O Ramesh Verma R/O Mehali Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Lal I/O PP Kasumpti, PS East, Shimla.

2.    An Excise Act Case FIR NO 169/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 3-11-14 U/S 39 HP Execise. ACT on the Rukka of ASI Kamal Nain alleging therein that when he alongwith staff was on patrolling/ Nakabandi duty,  at the same time one vehicle No. HP-09-1142 Maruti Car came from Fagu was  checked. During checking 15 Boxes country liquor marked as Himachal Orange recovered from driver Ram Swaroop S/O sh. Hari Nand R/O Vill. Panoli, PO Satog, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla, HP. 3.    An Accident case FIR No. NO 62/14  has been register at PS Kotkhai on 03.11.14 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev I.O  PS Kotkhai alleging there in that on 03.11.14 at about 4.15 AM one vehicle No HP 02A-8585 Mohindra max met with an accident in which eight persons along with driver were sitting. In this accident five persons namely:- (1) Driver/owner Mohd. Ismile s/o Sher Mohammad Vill Jakhar PO Samoli Teh Rohru age 33 (2) Gulam Mohd s/o Sher Mohd r/o Jakhar age 29 (3) Iqbal s/o Sher Ali r/o Jakhar age 45 (4) Bashira Begam w/o Alisen r/o Jajhar age 56 (5) Roshan Deen s/o Bazeerdeen VPO Masli Teh Chirgaon age 50 died on the spot and three person namaly (1) Nazeer s/o Tajdeen Vill. Jakhar Teh Chirgaon age 34 year (2) Sahil s/o Roshandeen Vill Masali Teh Chirgaon age 20 year (3) Mumtaj w/o Roshandeen Vill Masali Teh Chirgaon age 47 year sustained  injuries .  The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev IO PS Kotkhai.

Bhagat Ram R/o Vill Hayor PO Awahdevi Tehsil Bhoranj Distt Hamirpur alleging therein that on 22-8-14 when he alongwith his family was going to his native place Hamirpur  by HRTC bus No. HP10- 4617, the conductor of bus along with four other persons started use rough language with him and insulted his family and threatened him with dire consequences in drunken condition. He has also telephonically called some other person at ISBT Tutikandi Shimla.. The case is being investigated by HC Parkash Chand I/O PS Rohru

2.    An Accident case FIR No 138/14 has been registered at PS Rampur on 01-11-2014 u/s 279,337 IPC on the  statement of  Smt. Kokila W/O Sh Jeet Ram Pakhala Village and PO  Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that at about 2.45 PM when she was present on the roof of her house  at the same time She saw that One  B/Camper No HP-06A-0420 driven by Het Ram S/O Sh Jrishan Lal Vill. Urman PO Taklesh Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla hit Smt Lumbi Devi W/O Kadi Ram Village Damrali PO Teklech Rampur Distt Shimla and she sustained  injuries. The Case is being investigated by HC Shashi Bhushan No I/O PP Taklech. PS Rampur.

 

3.    A Negligent conduct with respect to fire case FIR No. 216/14 has been register at PS on. 2-11-2014 u/s 285 IPC P.S. on the complaint of ASI Shiv Kumar I.O. P.S. West Shimla alleging therein that the building of Deepak project office near advance study gate has burnt and seems that  it is burnt due to negligence. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar .

1. A ND&PS Act Case FIR No. 215/14 has been registered at PS West on 31-10-14 u/s 20 of ND&PS Act on the complaint of Sh. Tarsem Singh Asst. Supdt. M.C. Jail Kanda, alleging therein that convict Pratap Singh s/o Sh. Kanshi Ram R/o Vill. Kadharan P.S.  Theog Distt. Shimla was on parole from 19-9-14 to 30-10-14.  After parole  on 31-10-14 when he surrendered in the Jai, at the same time during checking 8 small pieces of charas has been recovered from his bag. On weighing it was 20 Gm. The case is being Investigated by SI Harish Kumar I/C P.P. Jutogh. 
2. A Rioting Case FIR No. 70/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 01-11-2014 U/S 147,148,149,353,189,336,332 IPC  on the statement of HC  Prem Lal I/C PP Amlatu Tangu romai Project alleging therein that in the intervening night of 31-10-14 10/11 persons in drunken condition create nuisance in Amlatu Bazar. When the Police officials of Police Post tried to stop them,  they manhandled with police officials, obstruct them to perform their duty, threatened with dire consequences, enter in the premises of Police Post and throne stone and bottles on the Police Post. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Singh I.O PS Chirgaon.

Narayan Dass R/O Vill Gohach PO Kalbog Tehsil Kotkhai District Shimla alleging there in that on 29-10-14 at 7.30 PM Sunil S/O sh. Mangat Ram, Pramod kumar S/O Sh. Roshan Lal R/O Village Kanral , Pinku S/O Sh. Ishwar Dass & Pratap S/O Gopi Nand R/O Village Basvi beaten him and sustained injuries. The Case is being investigated by ASI Pradeep Kumar I/C PP Baghi

Munshi Ram R/o Vill GarahKufar PO Bharana Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 30-10-14 when she was standing  out side of his home, at the same time namely Sunita beaten him with stick and she sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Santokh Singh I/C PP Matiyana PS Theog.

5.    A Wrongful restraint with criminal intimidation Case FIR No 89/2014 has been register at PS Kumarsain on 31-10-2014 U/S 341,323,504,34,506 IPC on the application of sh Vinod kumar s/o Sh Mangni Ram r/o Naga Dhar PO Delath Tehsil and PS Rampur Distt shimla HP alleging therein that he was going towards Rampur with his family. At the same time  one car bearing no HP06A-3025 obstruct his way and beaten him with kick and punches and threaten with dire consequences. The Case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi Ram I/O PS Kumarsain .

6.    A House Trespass case FIR NO 166/14 has been register at PS Theog on 31-10-14 U/S 448,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vikas Verma S/O Sh. Mast Ram Vill Kevkali PO Kyara Kandru Tehsil Theog alleging therein that he hired two shops on rent from Sh. Chet Ram S/o Sh. Ram Dyal Vill Dhav at Nag Jubbad and started the business. Subsequently after 3-4 Months on 30-10-14 owner Chaman Parkash & Pawan Kumar broken the locks of shop which cause damage to his property.  The case is being investigated by ASI Santokh Singh I.C PP Matiyan PS Theog.

7.    An accident case FIR NO 167/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 31-10-14 U/S279,338,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Harnaiya S/o Kadu singh resident of Amantpur Takoura, PO Safoura, Tehsil & Distt Akola, Maharashtra alleging therein that he alongwith his family sells plastic plates in the different places. On 31.10.2014 his son informed him that his sister-in-law Sanya hit by unknown vehicle. On this he went to the spot where Sanya was in unconscious condition. He took her at PHC Chhaila and she died at his dhara. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Jasbir Singh PS Theog.

8.    An accident case FIR NO 119/14 has been registered at PS Rohru on 31-10-14 U/S 279,337.304(A) IPC on the rukka of Insp/SHO Amar chand in which he alleged that today on dated 31-10-14 at 12-35 pm one motorcycle bearing No HP23B 4336 rolled down near Kundi Dhank Sundhara in a sharp curve about 250 feet down from road in which one person namely Pankaj @ Sonu S/o sh Renth Ram R/o Vill Jagothi, Rohru, died at the spot and other person namely Ajay S/o sh Mast Ram R/o Saras got injured and brought to CHC Rohru where M.O. referred IGMC Shimla. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving. The case is being investigated by Insp/SHO Amar chand P.S. Rohru, Shimla.

9.    An Accident Case FIR No 141/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 01-11-14 U/S 279,304A IPC & 187 M.V on the statement Julafkar s/o Sh Abdul Hameed R/O VIll,PO & PS Mirzapur Tehsil Behat Distt Saharanpur UP (labourer)  alleging there in that on 01-11-14 at about 4.15 am he and Samun was going to out side, at the same time  a vehicle (Truck) came rashly toward new ISBT and hit Sh Samun and he died on the spot .The Case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath  I/O P.S Sadar Shimla .

10.  During last 24 hours 203 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 04 challan under smoking act.  Total challan were compound= 91 and fine realize Rs. 33,800/-

1.    Accused Devinder thakur s/o Jalam singh, Narender @ Deep thakur S/o Jalam Singh and Jalam singh s/o Lt sh Shiv singh thakur r/o vill Mohan PO Jar tehsil Kumarsain have been arrested in case FIR No. 89/2014 Dt 31-10-14 U/s 341,323,504,34,506 IPC PS Kumarsain.

 

2.    Accused Boby  S/o Sh. Jamuna Dass R/O Labour hostel near Lalpani  Distt. Shimla  arrested in case FIR No. 135/14 dated 17-10-14 U/S 376,506 IPC at PS Sadar has been sent on Judicial custody for 14 days.
