Crime Report on August 22, 2017


1.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 153/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 21.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Lachhmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 21.085.2017 at about 09-00 PM at Cart Road Shimla, one person namely Harvinder Singh @ Saif S/o Lt. Sh. Om Prakash R/o Dhara near Cowshed, Love-Kush Chowk, Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 41 years alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No. 1. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.
2.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 150/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 21.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ram Pal, I/O PS Sadar, Shiml alleging therein that on 21.08.2017 at about 12-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Lalpani, Shimla, one person namely Sohan Lal @ Bagga S/o Lt. Sh. Faqueer Chand R/o House No. 123 (Dhara), Kali Dass Building, near 126 Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 42 years apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No.1. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Pal, I/O Sadar, Shimla. 
3.      AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 143/17 has been registered at PS Rampur  on 22.08.2017  U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Ram Kumar I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 21.08.2017, one school Bus No. HP06A-5897, which was coming back to Rampur after leaving school children, met with an accident near Kumsu & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Chaman Lal. In this accident driver Chaman Lal & one lady  sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Kumar I/O PS Rampur.
4.      A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 148/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 21.08.2017 U/S 451, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Balvinder Bhatia S/o Sh. Sardar Sohan Singh Bhatia R/o 133/5 below Gurudwara Sahib Cart Road, Shimla alleging therein that on 21.08.2017 at about 09-30 AM, when he and his brother was at their shop, at the same time Nitsh Puri, Nikhil Puri (both are the sons of Sh. Rakesh Kumar) along with their mother entered in their shop & started to scuffle with them. They have beaten them brutally and threatened with dire consequences.
5.      A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 149/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 21.08.2017 U/S 341, 147, 149, 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Nitish Puri and Rakesh Puri R/o 133/2 Saiyad Manjil Krishna Nagar, Shimla in the morning of 21.08.2017, he was going towards his shop, on the way Chimpu, Gullu alongwith 6/7 other peoples restrained his way and beaten him brutally. On his information, his Mother & brother also came on the spot, but above persons have also beaten them.
6.      A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 151/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Silamdeen S/o Ramjaan R/o Old Bus Stand Tibetan Colony, Shimla alleging therein that on 21.08.2017 at about 03-15 PM, one Abdul Sim Husain alongwith two other persons restrained his way and beaten him brutally.
7.      A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 142/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 21.08.2017 U/S 457.380 IPC has been registered on the application of Sachin Aggarwal S/o Sh. Mohan Lal Aggarwal R/o Village & PO Nogli Tehsil Rampur Bsr Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that he is running an Automobile Spare part shop at Nogli. On the intervening night of 20/21.08.2017, some unknown person has broken the shutter lock of his shop and stolen away some articles with cash. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Kumar, I/O PS Rampur
8.      USED CRIMINAL FORCE TO  DETER PUBLIC SERVANT DISCHARGE HIS DUTY: Case Fir No. 151/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 22.08.2017 U/S 353 IPC on the compliant of Sh. Jitender Kumar A/P Conductor in HRTC Depot Reckongpeo, alleging therein that on 21.08.2017 while he was booking the bus at New ISBT Shimla, one boy namely Kishan Kant came there & asked the conductor of Chamba Bus to take his luggage to Chamba. When Bus conductor refuse to carry his luggage without passenger, above Krishan Kant abused & scuffled with him during discharging his govt. duty. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder I/O PS West.
9.      During last 24 hours 302 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 137 & fine realized Rs. 65,000/- and 22 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 2,200/-.    

FOLLOW-UP
1.      Accused i) Chhattar Bahadur Shahi S/o Sh. Bhadar Bahadur Shahi, age 18 years and ii) Depinder Vishavekaram  S/o Sh. Sher Vishavekarma, age 19 years both are the resident of Ward No. 8, Village & PO Barla PS Vinayak Anchal Shati District Acham Nepal A/P C/o Chaman Lal Sharma R/o Village Jaigharh Tehsil Chopal, in case FIR No. 47/17 Dt. 18.08.2017 U/S 457, 380 IPC at PS Chopal, are remanded in Police Custody upto 23.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.
