An Accident case FIR No. 89/16 has been registered at PS Sunni on 25.12.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ravinder Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Brij Lal R/o Village Behdvin PO Sulkhan, Tehsil Bharanj, Distt. Hamirpur, age 36 years stated therein that on 25.12.2016, he alongwith Devender Kumar, was coming towards Shimla in his car No. HP-74-2324. At about 03-00 PM, When he reached near Nadukhar, at the same time A Tipper came rashly and hit his car, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod, I/O PS Sunni.
An Accident case FIR No. 125/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.12.2016 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Sunder Lal Sharma R/o Village Tandali, PO Karasa, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.12.2016, one Swift car No. HP-10B-3006 met with an accident at Sundhour near Patsari due to rash & negligent driving of Mohan Lal Sharma and rolled down from the road. In this accident, Mohan Lal Sharma, age 57 year & his wife Smt. Neelprabha, age 44 years died on the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Mohan Singh, I/O PS Rohru.
An Accident case FIR No. 285/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 25.12.2016 U/S 279,337,504 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Jai Ram Negi R/o Village Sadoda, PO Baldeyan, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, HP, age 32 years stated therein that on 25.12.2016, one vehicle No. HP-39-8066 driven by Vipin Sharma came rashly & hit his Pick-Up No. HP-63C-1722 from backside, parked roadside near Sandoda. When he asked, Vipin Sharma abused him, slapped his friend Jai Ram Negi and run away from the spot towards Naldehra. The case is being investigated by HC Kanwar Singh, I/O PP Mashobra.
An Affray case FIR No. 393/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 25.12.2016 U/S 160 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Lakkhe Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Bilawan R/o Prospect Lodge, Jakhu, Shimla alleging therein that he sells toys on the road towards Lakkar Bazar near Ridge Shimla. On 25.12.2016, at about 04-15 PM, two street venders namely Paras Ram S/o Sh. Ram Chander R/o Village Laukana, PO Dharampur, Distt. Behraich, UP, age 41 years and Chain Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Nathu Ram R/o Village Malyavar, Tehsil Ghumarwin, Distt. Bilaspur, HP, age 50 years were quarreling with each other & disturb the Public peace by commit an affray in public place. The case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.
A Grievous Injury case FIR No. 394/16 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla today on 26.12.2016 U/S 325 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dikshant Thakur S/oSh. Gokul Thakur R/o Village Matyan, PO Chailly, Shimla stated therein that on 24.12.2016 at about 03-00 PM, when he alongwith his friend Ankit Negi came to attend the Get-Together Programme at Gaiety Theatre, Shimla, where two unknown students beaten him brutally & broken his front tooth. On this, he was medically examined at DDUZH, Shimla. Today final opinion has been received, in which Medical officer given grievous injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Paramjeet Singh, I/O PS Sadar.
During last 24 hours 390 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 263 & fine realized Rs. 88,300/- and 121 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 14,500/-.
Follow Up
Accused Mewa Lal S/o Sh. Shankar R/o Village Dhamasur PO Chhetamare, Tehsil & Distt. Salyan Anchal Rawati Nepal, age 40 years, arrested in case FIR No. 06/16 Dt. 16.01.2016 U/S 302 IPC at PS Rohru, today remanded in judicial custody for 14 days by the Ld. Court.
