An Accident case FIR No. 148/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 16.12.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Const. Chena Ram, Posted in ITBP 50 Bn Ramgarh Haryana alleging therein that on 16.12.2016, he alongwith Asstt. Commandant Sh. Vikram Singh & Sh. Abhishek (Gunman) were going to Sarahan from Shimla in Vehicle No. CH-01GA-7485. When they reached at Kandayali, at the same time one Bolero Pick-Up No. HP-26A-1989 driven by Ravi Kumar, came rashly in wrong direction and hit his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Raj, I/O PP Narkanda.
An Accident case FIR No. 217/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 16.12.2016 U/S 279, 304A IPC & 187 MV Act on the rukka of SI Rajender Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog alleging therein that on 16.12.2016 at about 07-15 PM, an information received at PS Theog that a Person namely Vinay Sirkaik S/o Sh. Mast Ram R/o Village Sanana, PO Sandhu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla is lying on NH-5 at Sandhu. After inspection the spot it is found that the deceased was hit & run over by some unknown vehicle. The case is being investigated by SI Rajender Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog.
A Rioting case FIR No 232/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 17.12.2016 U/S 341,323,356,147,149 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ram Rattan Sharma S/O Sh. Laxman Dass R/o Village Shiharla PO Tecklech Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 16.12.2016 at about 10-00PM, when he was changing the tyre of his vehicle at Racholi road, at the same time Rajinder Thakur R/o Village Nirsu, Ved Prakash R/o Village Dansa alonwith 15-20 persons came their and beaten him brutally. They have also snatched his gold chain, purse and mobile phone. The case is being investigated by ASI Hoshiar Singh, I/O PS Rampur.
Mischief by fire with the intent to destroy public property case FIR No. 70/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 17.12.2016 U/S 435 IPC & Sec.3 of PDPP Act on the statement of Sh. Lokinder A/P Driver in HRTC Bus No. HP-10B-7630 alleging therein that some unknown person has set a fire in above Bus at Village Saraji & damaged it badly. The case is being investigated by ASI Yudhishtra Singh, I/C PP Sarswati Nagar.
A Criminal Breach of Trust by Public Servant case FIR No. 62/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 17.12.2016 U/S 409 IPC on the application of Sh. Panna Lal Chauhan A/P Block Elementary Education Officer, Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein that Vinod Samalta A/P J.B.T, Suleman S.M.C President & Bhagat Ram J.E (S.S.A) have prepared the forgery bill and misappropriated/embezzled the amounting to Rs. 1,70,000/- during construction of School Building at Moolshak. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamlender Singh, I/O PS Nerwa.
During last 24 hours 261 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 117 & fine realized Rs. 41,300/- and 58 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,900/-.
Fire Incident
On the intervening night of 16.12.2016, fire incident took place in the Cowshed/Store of Sh. Shobha Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Saran R/o Village & PO Majhewali, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla in the jurisdiction of PS Jubbal. The approximate value of damaged property is 1.5 lacs.
Inquest Report
Deceased Prem Shankar Jha S/o Sh. Viveka Nand R/o Devdar Jharkhand, age 36 year brought to IGMC Shimla for treatment, where doctor declare him brought dead. After autopsy, dead body handed over to his relative for cremation.
Deceased Lalit S/o Sh. Dhanu R/o Village Praini, PO Khadkawada, Distt. Deilak, Anchal Beri Nepal A/P C/o Chand Singh Jhagta R/o Village Madharli, Rohru, Shimla, age 30 years, taken some intoxicated substance on 16.12.2016. He was brought to CH Rohru for treatment, where doctor declare him brought dead. Today after postmortem, dead body handed over to his relative for cremation.

Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 72/16 Dt. 14.12.2016 U/S 379, 34 IPC & 41,42 IF Act at PS Chopal, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
Accused Atul Sharma S/o Sh. Murari Lal Sharma R/o Village Bhujpura, Thakur wali Gali, PO Jaigaj, Tehsil & Distt. Aligarh, UP A/P Tenant C/o Kundan R/o Vandana Enclave, near Cement Agency, Khoda Colony, Gajiabad, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 121/16 Dt. 08.12.2016 U/S 420 IPC at PS East, today remanded in Police custody upto 20.12.2016, by the Ld. Court
