Crime Report 11 August, 2014

1. A ND&PS Act Case FIR No. 92/14 has registered at PS Rampur on 10.08.14 U/S 27 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS Rampur Shimla alleging therein that on 10.08.2014, he alongwith staff on patrolling duty towards Nirth. At about 03:30 PM, when they reached near Shiv Mandir at Badrash, one person namely Santosh Kumar S/o Sh. Narottam Dass R/o Village & PO- Badauli, Tehsil- Rampur, Shimla was smoking charas with Bidi. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS Rampur.

2. A Burglary case FIR No. 145/14 is registered at PS West on 10.08.2014 U/S 457,380 IPC alleged therein that on 19.08.2014 at about 03-30 PM, one Pramod Kumar S/o Sh. Geeta Ram R/o Village & PO- Panesh, Shimla has informed him that the door lock of his house has been broken. On this information he comes to his house and saw that some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house and stolen away one LPG cylinder, 09 taps, 10 mixtures and cash Rs. 1500/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami, Shimla.   

3. During last 24 hours 187 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 07 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compounding= 79 and fine realize= Rs. 19,400/-

Rajesh Gupta, Kapil Sharma S/o Sh. Jagti Ram, Kapil Sharma S/o Sh. Kedar Singh, Jai Ram S/o Sh. Ghundu Ram and Anil Chauhan S/o Sh. Daulat Ram have been arrested in case FIR No. 78/14 Dt. 09.06.2014 U/S 147,148,149,323,353,332,307,427,506 IPC PS Theog, sent to judicial custody.   

2. Accused Sushil Kumar  S/o Sh. Rattan Chand and his wife Smt. Rajni  R/O Village- Malog, PO-Tara Devi Shimla A/P Gomti Niwas Parimehal have been arrested in case FIR No. 94/14 Dt. 07.08.14 U/S 15,18,20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act PS East, today sent to judicial custody .

3. Accused Santosh Kumar S/o Sh. Narottam Dass R/o Village & PO- Badauli, Tehsil- Rampur, Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 92/14 Dt. 10.08.14 U/S 27 ND&PS Act PS Rampur has released on bail.

4. Accused Mayank Bansal S/o Sh. Pradeep Kumar R/o Thakur Niwas, Chora Chauki, Tehsil & District- Shimla and Kuldeep S/o Sh. Balwant Singh R/o Rama Niwas R/o Village- Rama Niwas, R/o Ridka Tutikandi, Shimla have been arrested in case FIR No. 140/14 Dt. 06.08.14 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act PS West are on police remand upto 13.08.2014.
