Crime Report 09 August 2014

        PRESS NOTE: 09 AUGUST, 2014

 

  1. A Damage to Public Property case FIR No. 36/14 has registered at PS Kotkhai on 08.08.14 U/S 3, PDP Act on the complaint of Secretary, Nagar Panchayat Kotkhai, Shimla alleged therein that Nagar Panchayat Kotkhai has set the benches for the convenience of local public at Main Bazaar Kotkhai. One Virender Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Moti Lal R/o Shopkeeper, Main Bazaar Kotkhai has damage these benches. The case is being investigating by HC Balbir Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.    

  2. An Theft case FIR No. 113/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 08.08.2014 U/S 379 IPC that during the intervening night of  07/08.08.2014, some unknown person has stolen away his Car No. HP-09A-0441 parked near his cottage.   The case is being investigated by HC Rameshwar Singh, I/o PS Dhalli.

  3. An Burglary case FIR No.26/14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 08.08.2014 U/S 454,380 IPC that on 08.08.2014 at about 11-50 AM, she went for JCB school to bring her Child after locking the room. At about 12-30 PM, when she return back to room and found that some unknown person has broken the door lock of her room and stolen away her gold ornaments i.e. two pairs of Tops, one nose-pin, three finger rings, one chain, one Mangal-sutra etc. and cash Rs. 7500/- from almirah.   The case is being investigated by HC Inder, I/O PS New Shimla.   

  4. An Accident Case FIR No.144/14 is registered at PS West today i.e. on 09.08.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Nitin Thakur S/o Lt. Sh. Gopal Sharan Thakur R/o Village- Dhailu, PO- Dohag, Tehsil- Joginder Nagar, Distt. Mandi A/p C/O Ex- MLA Natha Ram, Hira Nagar, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 08.08.2014, he along with five other persons were coming to Shimla from Ghanna Hatti in vehicle No. HP-01A-2503 (IKON). At about 09:45 PM, when they reached near Kufaridhar, driver lost his control and hit the vehicle with hill. In this accident they got sustain injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Yog Raj, I/O PP Dhami, Shimla.

  5. During last 24 hours 138 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 12 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compounding= 87 and fine realize= Rs. 26,100/-
