Crime Report on March 23, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 23.03.2018 U/S 21,22,25,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Ashwani, I/O PS Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 22/23.03.2018, during nakabandi alongwith staff at Jhamradi Barrier, a vehicle No. DL9CM-0215 alongwith two persons namely Suresh @ Baby S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Gartori PO & Tehsil Nerwa & Baldev Kumar S/o Sh. Kanshi Ram R/o Vilage Shallan, PO Halau, Tehsil Nerwa, District Shimla, stopped by them for checking and during the search of vehicle, 90 Tablets of Nitrazapam Tablets and 01 Bottles of Parvcuf Syrup (Restricted Medicine) recovered from their possession. Above accused have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Ashwani, I/O PS Nerwa. 
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 42/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 22.03.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhupender S/o Sh. Bihar Lal R/o Village Bhuna PO Kangal Tehsil Kumarsain District Shimla, age 35 years alleging therein that on 22.03.2018 at about 08-00 PM, one Maruti Car No. HP62-2528 met with an accident at Kaithal Kainchi and rolled from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Mukesh Kumar S/o Sh. Tikkam Ram R/o Village Bhuna PO Kangal Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Sushil Kumar I/O PS Kumarsain.
3. A THEFT case FIR No. 60/18 has been registered at PS West on 23-03-2018 u/s 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jai Chand Negi S/o Late Sh. Kalu Ram R/o Negi Niwas Majyath PO Totu Tehsil and Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 18-03-2018 he had parked his Maruti Car No. HP03-3375 at Parsu Kutir near Railway Station. On 21-03-2018 he saw that vehicle was missing from the spot. He searched the vehicle every possible place but didn’t traced out. He has doubt that some unknown person has stolen away his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar I.O PP Jatog PS West.
4. A THEFT case FIR No. 36/18 has been registered at PS East on 23-03-2018 u/s 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Laiq Ram S/o Sh. Tej Ram R/o Vill Jod Tehsil Suni Distt. Shimla A/P Govind Ram building Mehli alleging therein that on 21-03-2018 he had parked Pick up No. HP62A-0579 in Junga road near Sai building. On 22-03-2018 he saw that pickup was missing from the spot. He alonwith owner of vehicle searched it every possible place but didn’t traced out. He has doubt that some unknown person has stolen the above pick up. The case is being investigated by HC Mahesh I.O PS East.
5. AN ACCIDENT case FIR No.52/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 23-03-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Ravi Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Navgaon Tehsil Arki Distt. Shimla stated therein that today he was going Ram Bazar from Auckland tunnel one vehicle No. HP63A-14048 Alto Car came rashly and negligently hit him and he sustained injuries.
6. During last 24 hours 393 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 170 fine collected Rs. 53,700/- and 08 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 800/-.

Crime Report on March 22, 2018

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 33/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 22.03.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Om Praksh, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 22.03.2018, on the secret information he alongwith staff conducted raid in the dhaba of Smt. Bina Devi W/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Village Pat PO Kandi Tehsil Rampur, Shimla and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor from her possession. The case is being investigated by SI Om Prakash, I/O PS Sadar.
2. A Case FIR No. 33/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 21.03.2018 U/S 302 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Roop Dass S/o Lt. Sh. Kali Dass R/o Village Kapti PO Dhar-Gaura Tehsil Rampur District Shimla stated therein that on 20.03.2018 at about 05-00 PM, his father went to forest for grazing the sheep, but did not return back to home. He alongwith villagers went to forest to search his father. In between his brother Pyare Lal informed him that his father was lying dead in nude condition with blood stained injuries, in the forest at Jumkarai. He doubts that Shetty S/o Sh. Tara Chand  R/o Village Kuhal PO Deothi Tehsil Rampur & his friends murdered his father. The case is being investigated by ASI Jeet Ram, I/O PS Jhakri.
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 34/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 22.03.2018 U/S 279,336,337,304A,34 IPC has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Puneet Kumar S/O Sh. Tan Sukh Vill. & PO Darkali Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 21.03.2018 one HRTC Bus No HP 06A-2928 met with as accident at Sharan near Taklesh due to rash and negligent driving of Bus Driver Surjeet Singh and Contractors Daulat Ram & Mangat Ram who dump stones on the road. In this accident 66 persons injured and one lady namely Sumla Devi W/O Sh. Balak Ram Vill. Seri Majhali Teh Rampur died. The case is being investigating by SI/SHO Luder Singh PS Rampur.
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 59/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 21.03.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC & 192 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Chunni Lal S/o Lt. Ved Ram R/o Village Chayawala PO Raudi Tehsil & District Shimla alleging therein that on 21.03.2018 at about 02-30 PM, he alongwith Smt. Gayatri Devi, her son Sachin, Smt. Poonam W/o Sh. Sunil Kumar, his son Hemant, Smt. Narvada & her daughter Kumar Kavya were going to home from Didoghati in vehicle No. HP63-6116 driven by Devender Kumar S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village Chayawla. As they reached near Kayana, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 200/250 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Devender Kumar. In this accident, vehicle of driver Devender, Hemant, Smt. Gayatri & Poonam died and other sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Ram Nath, I/C PP Jutogh.
5. A BURGLARY case FIR No. 51/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 22-03-2018 u/s 457,380 IPC on the complaint of Smt.  Lata Sood  W/O Lt. Trilok  Raj Sood,  Swaran Medical Shop No. 3-4-5 Lakkar bazar Shimla  and R/O  Prit Villa Ground Floor Lower Kaithu Shimla alleging therein that  she is running a pharmacy and cosmetic shop in the name of gold medicare store in the market. In the intervening night of 21/22-03-2018 some unknown person has broken the shutter lock of his shop and stolen away 45,000/-. The case is being investigated by HC Rameshwer I.O PP Lakkar Bazar.  
6. During last 24 hours 330 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 111 fine collected Rs. 50,200/- and 06 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 700/-.

Crime Report March 21, 2018

1. A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 29/18 dated 20.03.2018 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act has been registered at PS Chopal on on the rukka of SI/SHO Kamlesh Kumar PS Chopal alleging therein that on 20-03-2018 he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty. During patrolling he intercepted 07 persons playing gambling with cards and recovered Rs. 1,04,750/-. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Kamlesh Kumar PS Chopal.  
2. A BURGLARY case FIR No. 38/18 dated 21-03-2018 u/s 457,380,34 IPC has been registered at PS Rohru on the statement of Sh. Tilak Raj S/O Lt. Sh. Agya Ram R/O Riwali Building upper Bazaar Rohru Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla alleging therein that today about 1:30 AM when he was sleeping in upper floor of his house two person namely Krishan Dev and Ajay Lamba caught red handed with stolen property from hid shop alongwith cash. The case is being investigated by ASI Vishesh Kumar I/C PP City Rohru.
3. A THEFT case FIR No. 34/18 dated 20-03-2018 u/s 379 IPC has been registered at PS East on the complaint of Sh. Nitin Sood S/o Sh. Satya Parkash Sood R/o Raj Apartment near Dogra lodge 103 tunnel Shimla alleging therein that he is  contractor and presently constructing the building of Koti Education learning Pvt. Company at Vill. Chelly Chola. On 10-03-2018 he visited the spot and found that 06 tn iron rods were laying on the spot. Subsequently on 18-03-2018 when he again visited the spot he found that some uknown person has stolen the above iron rods. The case is being investigated by ASI Dalip Chand I.O PP Kasumpti.
4. A GRIEVIOUS HEART case FIR No. 35/18 dated 21-03-2018 u/s 325 IPC has beemn registered at PS East on the complaint of Sh. Sandeep Singh S/o Tersem Singh R/o Vill Fatehgud Chudia road Amritsar Punjab A/p Bhatia Niwas Panthaghati Shimla alleging therein that on 12-03-2018 he alongwith Ravi Rana was going to their residence Panthaghati. When they reached Shiv Sahki Mandir Lower Panthaghati at the same time Rohit Sharma alongwith other persons came there and beaten him. The Medical examination of complainant has been conducted at IGMC Shimla and In as per Final opinion of MO IGMC complainant has sustained grievous injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram I.O PP Kasumpti.  
5. AN EXCISE Act case FIR No. 48/18 dated 21-03-2018 u/s 39(1)(A) HP Excise act has been registered at PS Sadar on the rukka of ASI Devi Singh I.O PS Sadar alleging therein that he alongwith staff was on patrolling. During patrolling he received a secret information of liquor and searched the Dhaba of Sh. Parvinder Singh S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o Hellon lodge Old Bus Stand Shimla and recovered 60 bottles of country liquor. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Singh I.O PS Sadar.
6. During last 24 hours 320 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 173 fine collected Rs. 76,000/- and 14 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1600/- .

Crime Report on March 20, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No.45/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on  19.03.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of Insp. Ravinder Kumar, SHO PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.03.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Cart Road, Krishna Nagar, Old Bus Stand, Down-Dale etc. At about 06-15 PM, on the secret information he alongwith staff conducted raid in the dhara of one lady R/o Down-Dale Phagli, Shimla and during search, 2.076 Kg. Ganja & currency Note amounting to Rs. 43,000/- recovered from her possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by Insp. Ravinder Kumar, SHO PS Sadar.
2. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 13/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 20.03.18 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Ramesh Kumar I/O PS Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein that in the intervening night of 19/20.03.2018 at about 12-30 AM, during nakabandi alongwith staff at Kaidi Bifurcation, one person namely Surjeet Singh @ Sura S/o Sh. Jagat Ram R/o Village & PO Tikkeri Tehsil Nerwa District Shimla intercepted by them and recovered 100 Capsule of Nitrazapam (Restricted Medicines) from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Kumar, I/O PS Nerwa.

AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 45/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 19.03.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu (Theog) alleging therein that on 19.03.2018, on the secret information he  alongwith staff raided the Daily Needs shop of Sh. Satish Verma S/o Sh. Rama Nand Verma R/o Village Padar PO Majhar Tehsil Theog, District Shimla and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.-1, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu (Theog).
4. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 13/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 19.03.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Inder Lal Sharma S/o Sh. Ishwar Dutt R/o Village & PO Juni Tehsil Sunni District Shimla alleging therein that in the intervening night of 18/19.03.2018, some unknown person has broken the door locks of his house and stolen gold/silver jewelries and cash Rs. 7,800/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Manohar Lal Sharma, SHO PS Sunni.

AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 46/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar today on 20.03.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Daljeet No. 122, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.03.2018 at about 10-00 PM, a Truck No. 11C-7599 met with an accident near Lakkar Bazar Bus Stand & rolled down 25 feet from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Mukesh Kumar S/o Sh. Prem Lal R/o Village Digthali PO Sui Surad Tehsil Sadar Bilaspur, age 24 years, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Daljeet, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.
6. A TRESPASS case FIR No. 32/18 dated 20-03-2018 u/s 447,506,34 IPC has been registered at PS Jhakri on the complaint of  Smt. Pate Devi W/o Sh. Sukh Dass R/O VPO Kinnu Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla  alleging therein that he is owner  of  the Khsara No 723 at Kinnu. The  possession has been handed over to her on dated 28-04-2014 by the  Kanoongo.  On 15-03-2018 one Tilu  Ram , Sulekha W/o  Gautam Sain and Ward Member criminally  Trespassed into her land and  Constructing  cow Shed on her Land . The case is being  investigated By  HC Ram Lal I/O PP Sarahan PS Jhakri .
7. A FIRE INCIDENT case FIR No 32/18 dated  20-03-18 u/s 285 IPC has been registered on the complaint of Shishu Pal S/o Sh. Hari Ram Vill. Panoli Po Dansa Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that Due to negligent act of Inder Dev S/O Sh. Dal Dev Vill. Panoli Tehsil Ramur Distt. Shimla fire incident took place  in the apple orchard of complainant,  Mohan Lal,  Som Prabha and Rameshwari’s.  Due to this fire incident at about 600 plants of apple damaged/burnt. The case is being investigated by HC Narjeev Kumar I/O PS Rampur.

Crime Report on March 19, 2018

1. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 52/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 19.03.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Raja Ram Gupta R/o Shop No. 77, Sanjauli, Shimla that during the intervening night of 08/09.03.2018, some unknown person has broken the locks of his shop and stolen away some packets of Chocolates & Cigarette and cash  Rs. 15,000/-. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Kumar, I/O PP Sanjauli
2. A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 36/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 18.03.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the  statement of  Sh. Rajinder Singh S/O Lt. Sh. Om Prakash R/O Vill. Chalani PO Dharara Tehsil & PS Rohru stated therein that an unknown person has called on his mobile phone, who asked his Bank Account Number & Addaar Card Number and fraudulently withdraw Rs. 1,45,990/- from his Bank account. The case is being investigated by ASIJai Lal I/C PP Khadrala.
3. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 37/18 has been registered at PS  Rohru  on 18.03.2018  U/S 457, 380 IPC  on the complaint of Sh. Jatin Sood S/O Lt. Sh. Ajay Sood R/O Ajay General Store Chirgaon Road Rohru alleging therein that on the intervening night of 18.03.2018, some unknown person has stolen away packets  Butter, Cigarette & cash Rs. 5000/- from his shop. The case is being investigated by ASI Vishesh Kumar I/C PP City Rohru.

1. On 18.03.2018, an unidentified male decomposed dead body has been found at Jolta Ghashni near Pulwahal PS Chopal. Dead body was shifted & kept in mortuary at CH Chopal for further legal proceeding.

Crime Report on March 18, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 43/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 18.03.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jogender Singh S/o Sh. D.R. Mehta R/o Village & PO Sainj PS Theog, District Shimla stated therein that on 17.03.2018 at about 08-30 PM, one Motorcycle No. HP09C-4633 met with an accident near road bifurcate towards Electricity Office from Balag and rolled down behind his house from the road. In this accident, two persons namely Meen Bahadur (Nepali) R/o Sainj & Gopal (Nepali) sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 43/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on 18.03.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ajay Chemal Singh S/o Sh. Panch Pancham R/o Bhapil, Dr. ShikiariPS Shaili District Sirmaur on 18.03.2018 at about 05-15 AM, one Motorcycle No. HP09C-1865, driven by Narender Singh S/o Sh. Mohan Singh R/o Village Khaniyar PO Mundu, District Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving and hit him near Winter Field Shimla, caused sustained injuries to him.
3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 44/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar today on 18.03.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajesh  Kumar, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that today at about 12-45 PM, when he alongwith staff was at Cart Road near Victory Tunnel, one Scooty No. HP52(T)-5772, driven by Sanjay Kalyani S/o Sh. Naresh Kumar R/o Sunder Building, Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 26 years stopped by them and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Una No.-1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar, I/O PS Sadar.  
4. During last 24 hours 364 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 210 fine collected Rs. 86,300/- and 07 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 700/- .

1.   Accused Lalit Sheeta S/o Sh. Thakur Sain R/o Village Goskwari PO Gushali Tehsil Chirgaon, District Shimla, HP, arrested in Case FIR No. 77/17 Dt. 28.09.2017 U/S 306 201 IPC at PS Chirgaon, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2.  Accused Dalip Kumar S/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Village Dhar Chandna PO Dhar Tehsil Kupvi District Shimla, age 26 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 42/18 Dt. 16.03.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar,  is remanded in Police Custody upto 19.03.2018, by the Ld. Court.

Crime Report March 17, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 42/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on 16.03.2018 U/S  20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Kishore Kumar, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.03.2018 at about 07-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Dalip Kumar S/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Village Dhar Chandna PO Dhar Tehsil Kupvi District Shimla, age 26 years intercepted by them near Army Mess Gate at Lift Shimla and during the search 148 Gram Charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Kishore, I/O PS Sadar.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 42/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 16.03.2018 U/S 279 304A IPC on the rukka of HC Sudesh, I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging threrein that on 16.03.2018 at about 08-45 PM, a Maruti Car No. HP62A-3260 met with an accident near Bhohalu Curve and rolled down 200 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Rakesh Kumar. In this accident, two persons namely Rakesh Kumar & Manoj Kumar S/o Sh. Girja Nand R/o Village Kilra PO Mahog Tehsil Theog, Shimla have been died. The case is being investigated by HC Sudesh, I/O PS Theog.   
3. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 57/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 16.03.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Satish Kumar S/o Sh. Sardaru Ram R/o Sushil Bhawan Airport Road, Vijay Nagar PO Totu Tehsil & District Shimla, age 61 years alleging therein that on the intervening night of 15/16.03.2018, some unknown person has stolen away the Motorcycle No. HP52B-2830 of his son and  parked on the roadside outside his residence and another Motorcycle No. HP18A-6431 of Mukesh S/o Sh. Rama Nand R/o Bhatgarh PO Renuka Distt. Sirmaur, parked near Shiv Nagar, Totu. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh.
4. A Theft case FIR No. 58/18 dated 17-03-2018 u/s 379 IPC has been registered at PS West on the complaint of Sh. Devki Nandan S/o Sh. Tek Ram R/o Vill Shilagaon PO Anandpur Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he has parked his scooty No. HP14D-8802 outside of his house. On   16-03-2018 he saw that scooty was missing from the spot. He has doubt that some unknown person has stolen away his scooty. The case is being investigated by HC Parkash Chand I.O PS West.
5. During last 24 hours 376 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 174 fine collected Rs. 80,300/- and 14 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,400/- .
