1.      CIRCULAR NO. 1 OF 2013

BEHAVOIUR WITH GENERAL PUBLIC

                        All police officials are requested that during interaction with general public the word Sir/Madam should be used. The police officer should introduce himself while talking to any person during official dealings. He should tell his Rank, Name and post in introduction.

                        All are also requested that they should not misbehave with anyone while they are interacting with public during official dealing.

2.       A case under ND & PS Act is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 1/2/13 U/S ND & PS Act that on 1/2/13 at 9AM, during patrolling at Krishna Nagar, 150 Nitrazepam-10 unclaimed Tablets, packed in a plastic packet, were found at Krishna Nagar.

3.       A case under EXCISE ACT is registered at Police Station Rampur on 31/01/2013 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act that on 31/1/2013 at about 4:50 pm, during search of a shop at Shaneri, Rampur, 5 bottles of Country Liquor were recovered from the possession of the owner of shop.

4.       A case under EXCISE ACT is registered at Police Station Rampur on 31/01/2013 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act that on 31/1/2013 at about 5:30 pm, during patrolling, 24 bottles of Country Liquor were recovered from the shop of a lady at Shaneri, Tehsil Rampur.

5.        A THEFT case is registered at Police Station West, Shimla on 31/01/2013 U/S 380 IPC that on 18.12.2012, a girl who was the friend of  the daughter complainant, visited her residence at Phagli and stole one Mobile and Rs. 20000/-.

6.       A VEHICLE ACCIDENT case is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 01-02-2013 u/s 279, 304A IPC that on 31-01-2013 at 09.55 pm a vehicle No HP06A- 3617 D, met with an accident near Bhutti Kanchhi in which one person namely Abhishek S/O Sh Jai Chand R/O Village Nand Garon PO Noula Kumarsain died on the spot and 2 persons sustained injuries. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of above vehicle.

CRIME REPORT 31 JAN

1.   A case under TELEGRAPH ACT is registered at Police Station Chopal on 30.01.13 u/s 379 IPC & 25 Telegraph Act on 29.01.13 at 9 PM, one Nepali was caught burning telephone cable at Narti Khad. Accused was arrested and during investigation he disclosed that he stole above Telephone Cable from Aar village.

2.      A Case under PREVENTION OF DISFIGUREMENT ACT 1985 is registered by at Police Station East Shimla on 31-1-13 that during patrolling posters were found pasted at the walls of Rain Shelter Nigam Vihar, Shimla-2.  

CRIME REPORT 30 JAN

1.      A case under Gambling Act is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 29/1/13 u/s 13/3/67 Gambling that on 29/01/13 at 4.15 p.m., during patrolling a secret information was received by patrolling that a lady who deals in lady garments in Lower Bazar is betting. On this information a raid was conducted in her shop and an amount of Rs. 2410/- involved in betting was recovered from her alongwith Register and chits etc.

2.      A case under excise act is registered at Police Station Rampur on 29-01-13 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act that on 29-01-13, during patrolling one lady was caught by selling/serving liquor in pegs in her Dhaba and one bottle of English Liquor was recovered from her

3.      A case under excise act is registered at Police Station Rampur on 29-01-13 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act that on 29-01-13 at about 3.30 pm, 12 bottles of Country Liquor were recovered at village Urman from one person during patrolling.

4.      A Trespass case is registered at Police Station Sadar, Shimla on 29/1/13 u/s 448 IPC the complainant purchased a Building at Carlin Ford and during the deal, one tenant used to live in the said building. On 29/1/13, when she reached at her above house, she found that one person has illegally trespassed her house and taken possession on 4 rooms.

5.      A theft case is registered at Police Station Jubbal 30/01/2013 U/S 379 IPC that he has parked his Maruti Car No. No. CH03D-8708 at Gangta Kenchi on 29/01/2013. On 30.01.2013 i.e. on today when he went to see his vehicle, he found it stolen from the above place of parking. During the course of investigation vehicle is recovered and accused arrested.

6.      On 21.01.2013, PSI Babu Ram lodged a Case under Section 224 IPC at Police Station Manimajra, Chandigarh that on 19.01.2013, he proceeded towards Amritsar and Jirakpur in connection with the investigation of a case registered at Police Station Dhalli, District Shimla u/s  U/S 382,380 IPC alongwith staff and accused involved in the said case. On 21.01.2013 at 02.15 PM, when they were coming back to Shimla by his own vehicle, the accused managed to escape from their lawful custody at Manimajra. PSI Babu Ram, ASI Manohar Lal and Ct. Tashi Negi, No. 669, who are immediately responsible for this prisoner escape, are hereby suspended from duty with immediate effect. In order to elucidate all the circumstances connected with the escape and determination of issue whether the escape could have been prevented by the exercise of such vigilance and courage on the part of the enrolled police officer immediately responsible as might reasonably have been expected and whether it was rendered possible or facilitated by any neglect or omission of duty on the part of any superior enrolled police officer, a searching departmental enquiry is hereby ordered against PSI Babu Ram, ASI Manohar Lal and Constable Tashi Negi, No. 669.
        

 

CRIME REPORT 29 JAN

 1.      A case under EXCISE Act is registered at Police Station East on 28-01-13 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act that on 28-01-13, 5 bottles of country liquor were recovered at Panthaghati during patrolling.

2.      A THEFT case is registered at Police Station Kotkhai on 29-01-13 U/S 379 IPC that during the intervening night of 28/29-01-13, some unknown person stole away luggage bag alongwith Kodak Digital Camera, Shawl, Cloths, important Court document and Gas Cylinder from Maruti Car No. HP-03D-1059 parked at Santari bifurcation.

CRIME REPORT 28 JAN

1.       An ACCIDENT case is registered at Police Station Rampur on 27-01-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC that on 27-01-13 at 4:45 PM one vehicle M/Cycle No. HP-06-3974 met with an accident near MGMSC Khaneri. In this accident driver sustained injury. This accident occurred due to rash & negligent driving by the M/cycle driver.

 

2.       A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 28-01-13 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC that today on 28-01-13 at 10:30 three persons wrongfully restraint the complainant and beat him.

CRIME REPORT 27 JAN

1.      A case under nd& pd ps Act is registered at Police Station Dhalli u/s 22-1-85  on 26.01.2013 that during patrolling at Sunni 268 tablets Nitrosun and 22 gm Charas were recovered from a person.  Accused person has been  arrested.. 

2.      A case of Unlawfulll restrainant is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 27.01.2013 u/s 341 323, 34 IPC that on 26.01.2013 the complainant was unlawfully restrained and beaten at Nerwa Bazar.

 

CRIME REPORT 26 JAN

1.      A case under EXCISE Act is registered at Police Station East, Shimla on 25-01-13 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act that on 25-01-13, 7 bottles of country liquor were recovered at Panthaghati during patrolling.

2.      A hit & run case is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 25/01/13 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act that on 25/1/13 at 1.45 PM, the complainant was going towards Old ISBT alongwith her friends and when they reached near ISBT, A Car No PB-10BF-9181 hit her and ran away from the spot.
