1. AN ND&PS: Case FIR No. 85/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 11.08.18 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Laxman Kumar, SHO PS New Shimla alleging therein that on 11.08.2018 at about 07-20 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Tara Mata Mandir & Mist Chamber, one person namely Vicky Sharma S/o Sh. Amit Sharma R/o C/o Harish Kumar, R/o Dev Nagar near Shiv Mandir Panthaghati, Shimla, age 19 years, intercepted by them and during the search, 30 Tablets of Nitrosun-10 (Restricted Medicine) recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Laxman Kumar, SHO PS New Shimla.

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 152/18 registered at PS Dhalli on 12.08.2018 U/S 279 IPC on the complaint of Sh Tarun Sikka S/o Sh Vijay Kumar Sikka R/o Sikka Niwas Shilli Road near D.C Residence Solan Himachal Pradesh alleging therein that on 10.08.2018 he along with his friend were coming back from Rorhu to Solan in his vehicle No. HP 14B 5046.When they reached near Navahar Sanjauli suddenly a vehicle No. DL-4CAU 8361 (Wagnar) driven by Madan S/o Sh Kedar Singh R/o village Koti Bouch P/o Rohnat Tehsil Shilai Sirmour came rashly and collided with his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Sohan Lal I/o PP Sanjauli.

3. AN INDIAN FOREST ACT : Case FIR No.66/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 11.08.2018 U/S 379 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the complaint of Sh. Prem Mehta working as a Range Forest Officer Sarswati Nagar Tehsil Jubbal alleging therein that on 10.08.2018 he along with staff recovered 83 sleeper of Pine Wood from the land of Sh Moti Ram S/o Sh. Maan Das and also recovered 15 sleepers of Pine wood from the land of Mohan Singh S/o Sh Deep Chand R/o village Bholar Tehsil Jubbal , The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath I/o PS Jubbal.

4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 67/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 11.08.2018  39(1) (a) of HP Excise Act on the Rukka of ASI Sohan Lal I/C PP Sarswati Nagar alleging therein that on 11.08.2018 at Hatkoti Kenchi during checking of vehicles  he along with staff recovered 24 bottles of country liquor from driver/owner Sh. Pankaj S/o Subhash Chand R/O Village Raika PO Dochi Tehsil Jubbal in his vehicle No. HP10A-8804. The case being investigated by ASI Sohan Lal I/C PP S/Nagar.

5. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 77/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 11.08.2018  39(1)(a) of HP Excise Act on the Rukka of ASI Acchar Singh I/o PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 11.08.2018 on a secret information he along with staff searched a parked vehicle No. HP 10B 2791 at Chilalta near Mangyari and recovered 02 boxes of English liquor,16 boxes of  country liquor and 12 boxes of Beer from the vehicle. The case is being investigated by ASI Acchar Singh I/o PS Chirgaon.

  

During last 24 hours 241 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 149 fine realized Rs. 71,400/- and 23 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2300/-.

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 75/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 10.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act that on 10.08.2018 at about 08-30 PM, during checking, 08 Bottles of Country liquor has been recovered from the shop of Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Tikker, PO Kaloti, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Achhar Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 214/18 has been registered at PS West on 11.08.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Surjeet Kumar S/o Sh. Shyam Lal R/o Village Kasailu PO Mangu Tehsil Arki, District Solan A/P Sood Bhawan, Janjhidi, Shimla alleging therein that on 10.08.2018, he alongwith his friends namely Kewal Thakur & Harsh Kumar was going to Taradevi Temple in his car No. HP03C-1466. As they reached near Srishti Mata Temple at Taradevi, at the same time a Motorcycle No. HP13-4205, driven by Madan Lal, came rashly by overtaking the vehicles and hit with his vehicle, sustained injuries to Motorcycle rider. The case is being investigated by HC Sushant Sharma, I/O PS West.
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 97/18 has been registered at PS East on 10.08.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Tara Chand Thakur So Sh. Narayan Singh Thakur R/o Village Sargheen PO Beolia Tehsil & District Shimla alleging therein that on 10.08.2018 at about 03-05 PM, one vehicle No. HP83-5016 (Tiago) met with an accident about 100 meter ahead from Beolia and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Sumeet Rana. In this accident one girl namely Pooja D/o Sh. Dhan Bahadur R/o Village Takreya PO Junga, Tehsil & District Shimla, died on the way to IGMC and Sumeet Rana sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.  
4. During last 24 hours 382 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 201 fine realized Rs. 87,200/- and 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,100/-.

Crime Report on August 10, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 81/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 09.08.2018 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Satya Prakash S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Sain R/o Village & PO Ghanvi A/P Shopkeeper at Ghanvi, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.08.2018 at about 06-30 PM, one Maruti Swift Car No. HP92-0356, which was on the way from Bus Stand Ghanvi to Jeori, met with an accident near his shop and rolled down about 70 meter from the road into Ghanvi Khad. In this accident, two persons namely Giri Raj S/o Sh. Karam Singh R/o Village Fancha, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 28 years and Mukesh S/o Sh. Vidya Singh R/o Village Nanti Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 26 years washed away in Ghanvi Khad and died. The case is being investigated by HC Jagdish, I/O PP Jeori.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 213/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 10.08.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 184 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Ashish Semuel S/o Sh. S.R. Semuel  R/o Block No.-27, Set No.-1, HIMMUDA Colony, Kasumpti, Shimla, age 34 years alleging therein that on 09.08.2018 at about 08-00 PM, he was going to Boileauganj from Kasumpti in his vehicle No. HP63B-1871. As he reached near Vidhan Sabha Crossing, at the same time a vehicle No. HP63A-1668 came rashly with negligent driving and hit his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Sushant, I/O PS West. 
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 168/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 09.08.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ishwar Dass S/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Village & PO Jhakri, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.08.2018, he alongwith two another persons namely Kirti Swaroop & Pradeut was going to Jhakri from Shimla in his vehicle No. HP02A-1303 (Duster). At about 05-30 PM, when they reached at Kaithsar near Bekhalti, at the same time a vehicle No. HP10A-0857 came rashly with negligent driving from Theog side and hit with his vehicle, sustained injuries to him.
4. During last 24 hours 379 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 123 fine realized Rs. 58,000/- and 18 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,000/-.

Crime Report on Aug. 09, 2018

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 212/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 08.08.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gopal Dutt Sharma S/o SH. Mast Ram R/o Villge Balain PO Chanog Tehsil & District Shimla alleging therein that he is a driver in Pvt. Bus No. HP62A-3476, ply on the route from Reckongpeo to Shimla. On 08.08.2018 at about 05-40 PM, when he reached near Phagli by driving above bus, at the same time one Motorcycle HP31B-4886, driving by Amit Kumar came rashly with negligent driving in wrong direction and hit with his bus, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Amrender Singh, I/O PS West.

2.    A UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY: Case FIR No. 175/18 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 09.08.2018 U/S 143, 188 IPC on the rukka of Insp. Sandeep Chaudhary, SHO PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards CTO, Scandal Points & Mall Road Shimla. At about 12-10 PM, about 100/150 workers of Himachal Kisan Sabha, CITU etc. gathered at Scandal Point Shimla under the leadership of Sh. Sanjay Chauhan, by shouting slogans against the Centre/State govt. regarding their demands and violated the sec. 144 Cr.PC.  The case is being investigated by Insp. Sandeep  Chaudhary, SHO PS Sadar.

3.    A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 103/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 09.08.2018 U/S 341, 147, 149 IPC has been registered on the statement of Sh. Tek Chand S/o SH. Gopal Dass R/o Village Chanas, PO Kothi, Tehsil Anni, District Kullu, HP alleging therein that he is posted as Conductor in HRTC Depot at Rampur. Today on 09.08.2018, he was on route duty from Anni to Rampur in HRTC Bus No. HP06A-5658. At about 09-15 AM, when he reached at Dutt Nagar and saw that many protestors under the leadership of Sh. Rakesh Singha, organized a dharna/demonstration against Milk Federation regarding their demands and blocked the National Highway No.-5.  The case is being investigated by SHO PS Rampur.

AN ND&PS: Case FIR No.162/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.08.2018 U/S 20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Rupender, I/O Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Shimla alleging therein that on 07.08.2018 at about 10-05 PM, on the secret information, three persons namely Smt. Man Kumari W/o Lt. Sh. Dev Bahadur R/o Village Gorai PO Tulsipur PS Fursakali Distt. Dang, Nepal, age 40 years, Jai Kumar S/o Sh. Man Bahadur R/o Village Dhadeeng PO Gagambu PS Dhulikhal, Tehsil Kathmandu, Nepal, age 35 years A/P C/o Bhupender Singh R/o Village Chawla Dopaliya PO Chalana Tehsil & PS Nahan, Distt. Sirmaur and Kharak Bahadur S/o Sh. Keshav Bahadur R/o Village Chanouta Tehsil, PS & PO Kapilvastu, Nepal, age 28 years, intercepted by them. During the search, 8.143 Kg. Charas & Cash Rs. 1770/- has been recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rupender, I/O S.I.U. Shimla.

A CHEATING: Case FIR No.149/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on  07.08.18 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of  Sh Anu Thakur S/o Late Sh.Thakur Chand R/o village Jagala P/o Palesh Tehsil Banjaar District Kullu  A/P Block Officer Koti Sub Tehsil Junga District Shimla alleging therein that he has a saving Bank Account in SBI, Kasumpti. He had applied for the SBI Credit Card which he received in the evening on 02.08.2018 through Blue Dart Courier Service. On that day he received a call on his registered mobile number 9418151288 on 03.08.2018 from 7060374382 at 3:14 PM regarding authentication of the SBI Credit Card. Meanwhile he got regular telephonic calls from SBI for last one week, so on good faith considering the authentic source of call, he shared all details with them and after rhat Rs. 50,000/- got deducted  from his account. The case is being investigated by ASI Inder Singh IO PS Dhalli.

A INDIAN FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 64/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on  07.08.2018 U/S  379 IPC & 32, 33 IF Act on the  complaint of Sh Prem Mehta Range Forest Officer Sarswati Nagar alleging  that on 07.08.2018 at 3.30 PM an organized Search has been conducted by DFO Rohru along with his team and recovered 22 sleepers of Pinewood from the house of Daleep Singh Kalta S/o Moti Ram R/O Village Jarashli P/O Jhagtaan Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Sohan Lal I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.
4. A INDIAN FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 65/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 07.08.2018 U/S  379 IPC & 32, 33 IF Act on the  complaint of Sh Prem Mehta Range Forest Officer Sarswati Nagar alleging that on 07.08.2018 at 3.30 PM an organized Search has been conducted by DFO Rohru along with his team and recovered 22 sleepers of Pine wood from the house of Partap Singh  S/O Parma Nand R/O Village Jarashli P/O Jhagtaan Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla. The case is being Investigated ASI Rajesh Kumar I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.
5. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.96/2018 has been registered at PS East on 07.08.2018 U/S 39(1)(a) HP Excise Act on the Rukka of SI Surender Kumar I/C PP Kasumpti alleging therein that on 07.08.2018 on secret information he raided the shop of a person namely Vijay Thakur S/o Sh Padam Chand R/o village Sargeen P/o Beoliya Tehsil and District Shimla and recovered 30 bottles of country liquor and 07 bottles of English liquor from the shop . The case is being investigated by SI Surender Kumar I/C PP Kasumpti.

1. During last 24 hours 402 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 137 fine realized Rs. 50,700/- and 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,000/-.

1.     ASSAULT ON GOVT. SERVANT: Case FIR No. 102/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 07.08.2018 U/S 353 332 147 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Bharat Bhushan Barogi S/o Sh. Keshav Ram R/o Village & PO Kinnu Tehsil Rampur, Shimla A/P Asstt. Professor, Physics at Govt. Degree College, Rampur Bsr. Shimla alleging therein that on 07.08.2018 at about 11-40 AM, When he was in the classroom, at the same time five persons entered in the class room/ lecture Hall No.-42 and started arguing with him and also obstructed him during performing his govt. duty. The case is being investigated by SI Ganga Dev, I/C PP City Rampur.

Crime Report on Aug. 06, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.   95/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 05.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Surender Kumar, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that oin 05.08.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Tibetan Monestry, Lower Panthaghati Shimla. At about 06-30 PM, on the secret information a raid has been conducted in the shop at Lower Panthaghati of Sh. Shyam Singh Chauhan S/o Lt. Sita Ram R/o Tarun Villa Bhawan, Lower Panthaghati, Kasumpti, Shimla and Recovered 07 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Surender Kumar, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla.  

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 148/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 06.08.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Jogeshwar Singh, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla stated therein that  on 05.08.2018, two vehicles No. HP09C-3443 (Jeep) and HP10B-2909 (Alto 800) which were on the way in opposition direction, collided with each-other near Naresh Brother shop at Dhalli due to rash & negligent driving of both drivers namely Manoj Kumar S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Village Gaun, Tehsil Theog, Shimla and Rajat Sharma S/o Sh. Inder Lal Sharma R/o Village Kot, PO Kaina, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Jogeshwar Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.

3.    Case FIR No. 160/18 Dt. 05.08.18 U/S 302 IPC PS Theog has been registered on the statement of Sh. Lokender (K.C.) S/o Sh. Punna Ram R/o Village Runga, PO, Tehsil & PS Simrutu, District Rukkam Anchal Rawati, Nepal A/P C/o Sh. Kuldeep Kenwla S/o Sh. Inder Singh Kenwla R/o Village Kaljaar, PO Shadi, Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that he is working as a labourer and residing at above mentioned address alongwith his family. His father namely Punna Ram was residing at Chhajpur Jubbal for the last 35/40 years. On 05.08.2018, he comes to know that the deadbody of his father was lying near Sandhu. On this, he alongwith his wife came to the spot, where police was already present. After that he came to know that on 04.08.2018, his father came to Kotkhai from Sandhu by bus, where he met with Surender Bahadur S/o Sh. Uday Ram Sunar and his wife R/o Village Khara Palika Triveni, Simrutu PS Khalnga, Distt. Rukkam Anchal Rawati Nepal. His father & Surender drunk alcohol. In between Surender beaten his wife brutally and she run away from dhara. After that, Surender started to beat his father and killed him. The case is being investigated by Insp. Hukkam Singh, SHO PS Theog. 

4.    During last 24 hours 313 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 116 fine realized Rs.  49,100/- and 09 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 900/- and 01 Challan under Mining Act & fine realized Rs.7,500/-

1      Accused i) Digvijay S/o Sh. Ishwar R/o Village Dhadi Ghunsa, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, age 37 years, ii) Rohit Kumar S/o Sh. Trilok Chand R/o Village Tikkeri, PO Pujarli No.-4, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 25 years iii) Naveen S/o Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/o Village Shamah, PO Shawoga Tehsil Kamrau, District Sirmaur, HP & iv) Sanjay Kumar S/o Sh. Shamsher R/o Village Jhakor, PO Mandal Tehsil Jubbal, arrested in case FIR No. 61/18 Dt. 25.07.2018 U/S 302 341 323 452 147 148 149 IPC at PS Jubbal, are remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

2      Accused  Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh Sharma R/o Village Chanehad, PO Barang, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi, HP, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 47/18 Dt. 01.08.2018 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

3      Accused Shyam Lal S/o Sh. Parma Nand R/o Village Manlog, PO Devgarh, Tehsil Kotkhai, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 157/18 Dt. 02.08.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, further remanded in Police custody upto 07.08.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4      Accused Prem Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Mahtu Ram R/o Village Jaghod PO Dhamandri, Tehsil Theog, Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 158/18 dated 03-08-2018 u/s 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, further remanded in Police custody upto 07.08.2018, by the Ld. Court.

5      Accused Joginder Singh Mistri, Mechanic C/o Rajan Tyre Industry, Raighat, Theog, Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 159/18 Dt. 03.08.2018 U/S 307 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in judicial custody upto 17.08.2018, by the Ld. Court.

6      Accused Prem Raj @ ID S/o Sh. Veer Singh R/o Village Jagot, PO & Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla, age 35 years, arrested in case FIR No. 42/18 Dt. 03.08.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Nankhari, is remanded in judicial custody  Ld. Court.

7      Accused Heera Bahadur S/O Gyan Bahadur Vill & P.O. Ghanoura Teh. Bararda P.S Mulana Distt. Ambala  Age 22 Years  has been arrested  in Case FIR NO 162/18 Date  21.6.2018 U/S  379 IPC at PS West Shimla , is remanded in Police custody upto 07.08.2018, by the Ld. Court.

8      Accused Mohd. Sharif S/o Sh. Gulzar Mohd. R/o Village Kothi Jadyaar PO Sujan Chalog, Tehsil Bani, District Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir, age 47 years, arrested in case FIR No. 82/18 Dt. 30.07.2018 U/S 454 380 IPC at PS New Shimla, is remanded in police custody upto 08.08.2018, by the Ld. Court.
