Crime Report on July 14, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: case FIR No. 129/18 dated 11.07.2018 u/s 21 of ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Dhalli on the rukka of Insp/SHO PS Dhalli alleging therein that one Nigerian national Kra Basile S/o Sh. Ibeanysi Emeka brought to PS Dhalli for interrogation of case FIR No. 127/18 dated 11.07.2018 u/s 21,29 ND&PS Act. During the course of interrogation the said Nigerian National was scattering/being upset and trying to conceal something. On being suspicious of narcotics contraband the personal search of above person has been conducted in the presence of Dy.SP City. During search 25.46 gram chitta (cocaine) has been recovered from the possession of Nigerian National. The case is being investigated by Insp/SHO PS Dhalli.

2.    A TRESPASS case FIR No. 81/18 Dt. 13.07.18 U/S 451 323 504 506 34 IPC has been registered at PS Chopal on the complaint of Sh. Rajinder Singh S/o Sh Bansi Lal R/o Vill Chilla PO Khagna Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 13.07.2018 at 09-00 AM Ramesh  his wife and one another lady entered in his premises, beaten him, his wife and also threatened them with dire consequences.

3.   A HOUSE TRESSPASS case FIR No. 82/18 dated 13-07-2018 u/s 452,323,509,506,34 IPC has been registered at PS Chopal on the complaint of a lady alleging therein that on 13.07.2018 at 08-45 AM Rajinder and  his family members illegally entered in his room and  abused, beaten and threaten her with dire consequences.

4.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 63/18 dated 13.07.2018 u/s 39 HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Chirgaon on the rukka of SI/SHO PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 13.07. 2018  at about 05-00 PM when he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty near Gumma Bridge he received a secret information reg. illegal selling of liquor. On the information he conducted raid in the Hotel/ Dhaba of Vijay Lama at Tikkeri and recovered 11 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Chirgaon.

5.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 49/18 dated 13.07.2018 u/s 279,304 A IPC has been registered at PS Nerwa on the rukka of SI/SHO Kulwant Singh alleging therein that a Vehicle No. HP08A-2698 Bolero Camper met with an accident at Thiyara due to rash and negligent driving of driver Narender and rolled down from the road. In this accident Narender S/o Late Sh. Sant Ram Vill Thiyara (Jonti) Poriya Distt. Shimla died on the spot. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Kulwant Singh PS Nerwa.

6.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 182/18 dated 13.07.2018 u/s 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS West on the statement of Sh.Kamal Thakur S/o late Sh. Parkash Chand R/o Vill. Panti PO Rodi Tehsil and Distt. Shimla stated therein that when he alongwith driver Manvir Singh reached near Pavghati in tipper No. HP64-4215 at the same time one pickup No. HP12G-1869 came rashly and negligently and hit with tipper. In this accident driver of tipper Manvir Singh, driver of Pickup Changu Ram and one another lady sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar I.O PS West.

7.    During last 24 hours 306 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 182 fine realized Rs. 82,500/-, 24 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,400/- and 04 Challaned under Mining Act and fine collected 45,500/-.

Crime Report on July 13, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 141/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 12.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the statement of ASI Rupender, I/O Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Shimla alleging therein that on 12.07.2018 at about 06-15 PM,  during patrolling along with staff on Lalpani Road near Slaughter House Bridge, one person namely Vineet Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Bharose R/o # Block No. 15, Vikas Nagar, Shimla, age 30 years apprehended by them and 12 Bottles of English & 12 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rupender, I/O Special Investigation Unit, Shimla.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 62/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 13.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on the secret information, a raid was conducted in the shop of Sh. Surat Singh S/o Sh. Shyama Nand R/o Village & PO Tikkeri Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 42 years and recovered 04 Bottles of Country liquor & 06 Bottles of Beer from his possession. The case is being investigated SI/SHO PS Chirgaon. 

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No. 88/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 13-07-18 U/S 39 of HP Ex. Act on the Rukka of SI Sher Singh I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that today at about 03-15 PM, he along with staff was on patrolling duty towards Pipty. On the secret information, a raid was conducted in  the Forest Department Canteen pipty (Rampur) and recovered 09 bottle of Country liquor Marka Una No.1 from the possession  of  Ram Lal S/O Sh. Kamla Nand R/O Vill Janeed PO Dhar Gaura PS Jhakri Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP . The case is being investigated by SI Sher Singh, I/O PS Rampur.     

4.    During last 24 hours 453 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 124 fine realized Rs. 52,500/-, 69 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,800/- and 02 Challaned under Mining Act.

Crime Report on July 12,2018

1.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 127/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 11.07.2018 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of L/ASI Ranjana Sharma, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 11.07.2018 at about 05-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one Maruti Car No. HP06C-2020 which was parked on road side at Jakhu Road, alongwith two persons namely Abhishek Kumar S/o Sh. Bhupender Singh R/o Manrog PO Narian Tehsil Rampur District Shimla, age 30 years & Saurabh S/o Sh. Uday Singh R/o Village & PO Kareri Tehsil Rampur Shimla, age 23 years intercepted by them. During the search of vehicle 19 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from the dashboard of above vehicle under their possession. The case is being investigated by L/ASI Ranjana, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla.

2.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 128/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 12.07.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Chander Mohan, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 11/12.07.2018 at about 01-40 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff, near Mashobra Bifurcation, one person namely Shyam Lal S/o Sh. Achhar Singh R/o Village & PO Vardhan, Tehsil & PS Padhar District Mandi, Age 37 years intercepted by them and recovered 18 Gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Chander Mohan, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla.

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 83/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-East on 11.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the statement of HC Puran Chand No. 128, I/O Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Shimla alleging therein that on 11.07.2018 at about 08-30 PM, during patrolling along with staff on the Vikas Nagar to Brockhurst Road, one person namely Bihari Lal S/o Sh. Bela Ram R/o Village Langehar, PO Baroti, Tehsil & PS Sarkaghat, District Mandi A/P C/o Jayantu Harihar Bhawan, Shakti Ashram, Panthaghati, Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.-1. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Singh, I/O PS Shimla-East.  

4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 76/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla Dt. 11.07.18 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ravinder Kumar S/o Sh. Chokas Ram J.E. Electricity Khalini Shimla stated therein when he was going to his office one pick up No. HP03D-2381 hit him near Khalini rain Shelter and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Yudhishter Sing I.O PS New Shimla.

5.   A HOUSE TRESPASS case FIR No. 180/18 dated 12.07.2018 u/s 452,323,506 IPC has been registered at PS West on the complaint of Sh. Rahul Yadav S/o Sh. Satya Parkash Yadav R/o Jaswant Building, Jutog Cant Shimla alleging therein that today at 08-30 AM he went for toilet but, at the same time Shubham his neighbourer was inside the toilet. He knocked the door of toilet and Sshubham asked him to stop for some time and he went back to his room. Subsequently, Shubham illegally entered into his room and started abusing and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar I.O PS West.

6.   AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 181/18 dated 12.07.2018 u/s 279 IPC has been registered at PS West on the statement of Sh. Digvijay Verma S/o Sh. Vikram Singh R/o Sh. Shyamla residency Sandal Chakkar Shimla stated therein that today at about 09-40 AM one truck No. HP 07C-2124 hit one Gypsy No. HP30A-0336 near his residence due to rash and negligent driving. The case is being investigated by HC Ravi Kant I.O PS West.

7.  A THEFT case FIR No. 78/18 dated 12.07.2018 u/s 379 IPC has been registered at PS Kumarsain on the statement of Sh. Parveen Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Sudershan Kumar Vill Bai PO and Tehsil Kumarsain stated therein that on the intervening night of 11/12.07.2018 some uknown person has stolen away 28 logs of Devdar of different size from Bhonali Temple near NH-05 Kumarsain. The case is being investigated by ASI Noop Ram I.O PS Kumarsain.

8.    During last 24 hours 557 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 147 fine realized Rs. 59,400/-, 28 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,800/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.

Crime Report on July 11, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 139/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-Sadar on  11.07.2018 U/S 39 (1)A HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajesh I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 10.07.2018 he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Gurudwara, cart road etc. During patrolling he apprehended one person namely Sandeep Kumar S/o Chet Ram R/o VPO Khanoda Tehsil and Distt. Hoshiarpur and recovered 40 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar I.O PS Sadar.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 43/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 11.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that today on 11.07.2018 at about 09-20 AM, during patrolling/traffic checking at Tikkeri Nalah, one vehicle No. HP09A-1129 (Pick-Up) alongwith driver  Pratap Tekta S/o Sh. Het Ram R/o Village Tikkeri PO Himari Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla stopped by them for checking and recovered 15 Boxes of Country liquor marka Himachal Orange & 05 Boxes of English liquor marka Royal Stag from his possession. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Kotkhai.   

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 126/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 11.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajinder Kumar I/O PS Dhallli alleging therein that on 10.07.2018 he along with staff was on patrolling  near Hotel Woodrina. During patrolling one vehicle No. HP09C-5613 white colour Alto 800 stopped by them for checking and recovered 240 Bottles of Country & 12 Bottles of English liquor from the vehicle under possession of  Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Saran & Daya Nand S/o Med Ram both R/o Vill Chevani PO Dharech Teshil & Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajinder Kumar I/O PS Dhalli.

4.    AN ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT FROM DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTY: case FIR No.178/18 dated 11.07.2018 u/s 341,353,332,504,34 IPC has been registered at PS Shimla-West on the statement of Sh. Navneet Kumar S/o Late Sh. Prittam Kumar R/o House No. 76/5, Jutough Cant, Shimla stated therein that he is working as cleaner in Jutog Cant Shimla. On 11.07.2018 he along with Rajeev Kumar and Ajay Kumar were going in Cant vehicle No. HP51-3618 to Garbage collection center Bharyal. At about 12-50 PM when he reached at Totu Chowk one vehicle No. HP52B-4605 was parked on the road. When he asked to remove the vehicle, two persons came out from the vehicle and started abusing, beaten and threatened him with dire consequences during performing his govt. duty. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar I.O PS West.

Crime Report on July 10,2018

1.   A RIOTING case FIR No.   61/18 Dt. 09.07.18 U/S 451 147 148 149 323 IPC has been registered at PS Chirgaon on the complaint of Sh. Ajeet Thakur S/o Sh. Gyann Singh Thakur Vill. Katol PO Kwar Tehsil Dodra Kwar alleging therein that he run a dhaba at Kirawari . On 08.07.2018 at 07-00 PM Goldi, Saurav and other 5/6 persons came in his Dhaba and started drink alcohol when he refused them not to drink here he started abusing and beaten him. The case is being investigated by HC Kapil Kamta I/C PP Dodra-Kwar PS Chirgaon.

2.   AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 81/18 dated 10.07.2018 u/s 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS east on the statement of Sh. Kishori La S/o Sh. Uttam Ram R/o Kaushalya Niwas Malyana Shimla stated therein that he is driver in Bus No. HP64-6667 Jeet Coach for 10 years. Today he was going to New Bus Stand from Malyana in above Bus. When  he reached near Keshu Dhaba about 05-40 AM one truck No. HR 58B-8145 came rashly and negligently and collide with bus. In this accident driver and conductor of truck sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Mahesh Dogra I.O PP Kasumpti PS East.

3.   AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 93/18 dated 10.09.2018 u/s 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS Rohru on the statement of Sunil Kumar S/O Ramesh Chand R/O Bautinala  VPO & Teh Rohru Distt Shimla H.P stated therein that today when he was parking his vehicle near sundhor mod suddenly a truck no H.P 63C 9991 came rashly and negligently towards Hatkoti and hit his vehicle no HP 10A 6402. In this accident, he sustained injuries . The case is being investigated by SI Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Rohru.

4.    Accused Bhagat Ram S/o Sh. Lekh Ram R/o Village Jood PO Chanawag Tehsil Sunni, District Shimla, age 38 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 23/18 Dt. 24.06.2018 U/S 498A 506 328 IPC at PS Sunni remanded in Judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

Crime Report on July 09, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE Act case FIR No. 41/18 dated 09-07-2018 u/s 39(1)A HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Kotkhai on the rukka of SI/SHO Parmjeet Saini alleging therein that today he along with staff was  patrolling duty at Kokunala. During patrolling at about 08:20 AM he received secret information of illegal selling of liquor. On the secret information he conducted raid in the residence of  Rajender @ Raju S/o Putlu Ram R/o Vill Chakrot PO Mahasu at Chander Nagar and recovered 12 bottles of country liquor. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Parmjeet Saini PS Kotkhai.

2.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 79/18 dated 09-07-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS East on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Amar Singh Store Executive Chetek Enterprises Ltd. Suitha, Shimla stated therein that today one Pickup No. HP64A-1273 met with an accident near his office due to rash and negligent driving of driver Banna. In this accident driver Banna and Rameshwer sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram I.O PP Kasumpti PS East.

3.    A RIOTING case FIR No. 137/18 dated 09-07-2018 u/s 341,323,147,149,506 IPC has been registered at PS Sadar on the statement of Sh. Ravinder Singh S/o late Sh. Madho Singh R/o G-block Verma Apartments Aman Niwas, House No. 02 Upper Bharari stated therein that today one person Rahul R/o Bharari quarreled with him and he went to PS Sadar for lodging complaint. Subsequently, when he came back to Bharari Rahul alongwith 8/9 persons stopped his vehicle near Bhalla Niwas Bharari, pulled him out and beaten with kicks and blows and threatened with dire consequences. In this incident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Virender Mohan I/O PP Lakkar Bazar PS Sadar.

6.    Accused Bhagat Ram S/o Sh. Lekh Ram R/o Village Jood PO Chanawag Tehsil Sunni, District Shimla, age 38 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 23/18 Dt. 24.06.2018 U/S 498A 506 328 IPC at PS Sunni is being produced before Ld. Court.

Crime Report on July 08, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 86/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 07.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Sher Singh I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that yesterday about 08-40 PM, he along with staff was on patrolling towards New Nirsu. On the secret information, a raid has been conducted in Dhaba of  Ram Singh S/o Sh. Prakash  Singh Village, PO & Distt Jhajarkot Nepal A/p residing at New Nirsu and recovered 08 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Una No.-1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Sher Singh, I/O PS Rampur.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 40/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 07.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC PS Kotkhai has been registered on the statement of Sh. Ravi @ Bablu S/o Sh. Jagupun Nepali C/o Ajay Kumar R/o Village Kothi PO Himri Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that he was going to Rawlakiar from Kothi. On the way he took lift in Pick-UP No. HP09C-2416. As they reached near Baghedi, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the road, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Hari Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai.  

3.    AN INJURY BY SHARP WEAPON: Case FIR No. 79/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 07.07.2018 U/S 324 323 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Tikka Ram S/o Sh. Hast Bahadur R/o Village China PO kahalng District Rukkam Anchal Rapti, Nepal A/P C/o Prakash S/o Sh. Kali Ram R/o Village Dhurla PO Makrog, Tehsil & PS Chopal, Shimla stated therein that on 05.07.2018, Ganesh Bahadur beaten him and his wife & his relative Nar Bahadur brutally with sharp weapon and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar, I/O PS Chopal.

4.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 132/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.07.2018 U/S 379 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Balbir Singh S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Khalasi PO Majhar Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 07.07.2018, he parked his Maruri Car No. HP10A-4722, outside his house at Bhekhalti. At about 12-30 AM, he listened some noise of broken from outside his house. On this, he came out from his house and saw that two persons taken his vehicle towards Theog with the intention to theft. As soon as, he started to making a noise, they left his car and run away towards Theog in Motorcycle No. PB11-AA-6964. He along with his brother Shamsher Singh, followed above Motorcycle in another car and caught them near Sarog gali and handed over to Police. Above both persons have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by IC PP Fagu, Theog.

5.     MISCHIEF CAUSING DAMAGE: Case FIR No 125/18 dated 8.7.18 U/S 336,427,34 IPC has been registered at Police Station Dhalli on the statement of Sh Raghuvir Karar S/O Sh Gulab Singh Karar R/O village Jhakhrari PO Khaneti Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla A/P Sh Gulab Singh Niwas Inder Nagar Dhalli alleging therein that during the intervening night of 07/08.07.2018 at about 01-30 AM, he listened some sound from outside his house. On this, he came out from his room and saw that some miscreants alongwith Duster Cherry Colour, were breaking the vehicles parked on the roadside. During night hours he afraid and in the morning, above persons identified as i) Tanuj Sharma S/o Sh. Brahma Nand R/o Village Tikker, PO & Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 28 years, ii) Rohitash S/o Sh. Hira Lal R/o Village & PO Bagi, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 28  years & iii) Shiv Thakur S/o Sh. Hira Lal R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 28 years and vehicle No. CH01-AU-5438 (Duster) and the registration Nos. of damaged cars is DL9CM-4827, HP51A-0207, HP51A-0207 Santro, HP25A-3667 (K10) and HP09A-3762(i10). The case is being investigated by HC Karam Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.    

6.    During last 24 hours 350 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 173 fine realized Rs. 71,100/- and 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,900/-.

1.    Accused 1) Ran Bahadur S/o Tak Bahadur R/o VPO Daang Tehsil & Distt. Daang 2) Dila S/o Atti Ram R/o VPO Puran Dhar Tehsil Daang Distt. Daang arrested in case FIR No. 151/18 dated 11.06.2018 u/s 382 IPC at PS West further remanded in Police custody upto 10.07.2018, by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Pankaj Chandel S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o Village & PO Kelvi, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 24 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 131/18 Dt. 06.07.2018 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 09.07.2018, by Ld. Court.

3.    Accused i) Rajan Chauhan S/o Sh. Roop Ram Chauhan R/o Village Rangol PO Kohbag Tehsil & District Shimla, age 19 years, ii) Yogesh Kaundal S/o Sh. Yashwant Singh R/o Kaundal Niwas, Lower Totu, Shimla, age 23 years and iii) Rahul Kashyap S/o Sh. Raju Kashyap R/o Village & PO Darlaghat, District Solan, age 18 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 175/18 Dt. 06.07.18 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Shimla-West, are remanded in police custody upto 09.07.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4.    Accused Suresh Gopta S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Sinhana PO Marog Tehsil Chopal District Shimla, age 29 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 48/18 Dt. 07.07.18 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Nerwa, are remanded in police custody for 03 days by the Ld. Court.
