Crime Report on May 23, 2016

1. A Rioting case FIR No. 82/16  has been registered at PS Theog on  22.05.2016 U/S 143, 147, 149, 452,342, 323, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ashwani Kumar Dogra A/P Project Manager, C&C Construction Ltd. Bagain stated therein that on 20.05.2016, when he was at HP PWD office at Shimla, he came to know that members of Kissan Sabha affiliated with CITU alongwith some of their contractor have organized the Gherao of their Camp Office. At about 11-30 AM, he received a call of HR Manager, from where an unknown person who introduced himself as Rakesh Singha, Representative of Kissan Sabha  asked him to come immediately to his Camp office at Bagain. On this at about 02-30 PM, when he  reached at Camp Office and saw that 10/15 peoples criminally trespassed in their office and organized the Gherao of General Manager Pritpal Thakral and confined them inside the office for 10 to 12 hours. They have shouted slogans and pressurised them to make the cash payments of contractor upto 06-00PM. Thereafter they become aggressive beaten some of their officers & also threatened them with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand, I/C PP Chhaila.     

2. An Accident case FIR No. 32/16 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 23.05.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Lal S/o Sh. Rai Singh R/o Village Gagana, PO Chambi, Tehsil Copal, Distt. Shimla stated therein that he alongwith his wife was going to home from Chopal in vehicle No. HP-08A-1762 (Alto-800) driven by Narender R/o Gagana, Chopal. When they reached at Dopadi, above vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Narender, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS Chopal.

3. During last 24 hours 283 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 180 & fine realized Rs. 66,200/-, 51 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 5300/- & 03 challaned under Mining Act.

Crime Report On May 22, 2016.

1.   An Accident case FIR No. 49/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.05.2016 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mohinder Singh S/O Lt Sh. Sita Ram R/O Vill. Batawati(Maghoti), PO Jarol, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt Shimla, stated therein that on dated 21.05.2016 at about 8.40 AM when he was going towards his orchard Near Bharidhar he saw that a Scorpio NO. HP35A-0247 driven by sh. Manmohan Singh driving rushly & negligently the above vehicle and rolled down from the road about 100 mtrs. In this accident his wife Smt. Veena died on spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Hans Raj I/O PS Kumarsain, Shimla.

2.   Act endangering life or personal  safety of others case FIR No. 49/16 has been registered at PS Theog today on 22.05.2016 U/S 336, 304A IPC on the Ruka of ASI Santokh Singh I/C PP Matyana, stated therein that a person namely Mazid Khan S/O Mohd. Saleem Khan R/O 9/1022, Pilkhaitla Saharnpur buried into the drainage which was digging to lay down the cable at near Dehanghati. This incident occurred due to the negligence of Contractor Sunil S/O Sh. Ram Prasad R/O Vill. Shishamati, Tehsil & Distt Kullu, HP & Driver/JCB Hardeep S/O Sh. Gurdyal R/O Vill. Sarowala Baglahar, PO Panjera, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt Solan, HP.  The case is being investigated by ASI Santokh Singh I/C PP Matyana, PS Theog.

Crime Report on May 21, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 78/16 has been registered at PS Theog today on 21.05.2016 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Halot, PO Balghar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated there in that today he was going to Halot in his vehicle.  At about 11-00AM, when he reached near Balghar and saw that one HRTC Bus No. HP42-0958, which was on the route from Shimla to Tharoch, met with an accident & rolled down from the road into the Bajroli Pul nalah. About 35 passengers were travelling in this bus, out of which 11 persons namely i) Reena W/o Shyam Singh R/o village Mihana, PO Chanair, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 34 years ii) Shanti Devi R/o Horticultural Nav Bahar Shimla, age 56 year, iii) Virender Kumar (Bus Conductor) S/o Sh. Rati Ram R/o Jaha, Tehsil Chopal, iv) Parvinder (Bus Driver), v) Mansa Ram S/o Sh. Dhyanu Ram R/o Manu PO Gyah, Tehsil Chopal, vi) Sukhdev S/o Sh. Tompia R/o Khaddar, Tehsil Chopal, age 65 years, vii) Promila W/o Sh. Puran  Chand Sharma R/o Nabha Estate, Shimla, age 28 years, viii) Reena W/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Gai, Nerwa, age 29 years, ix) Naitik D/o Ram Lal R/o Gain Kyar, Nerwa, x) Akhtar Hussain & xi) Bimla Guleria W/o Sh. Ghanshyam Guleria R/o Mehli, Shimla have been died. Injured are brought to nearest hospital Theog or IGMC Shimla for treatment.  

2. An Excise Act case FIR No 49/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 20.05.2016 U/S 39 of HP Excise  Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai alleging therein that on 20.05.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Bharech. At about 03.45 PM, on the secret information, he searched the shop of Rajeev Sharma S/o Sh. Devki Nand R/o village Bharech PO Himri Kotkhai Distt. Shimla & recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Himachal No. 1 & 12 Bottles of Beer marka Mekins 1000 from his possession. The Case is being investigation by ASI Kamla Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.

An Excise Act case FIR No. 104/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 21.05.2016 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Hoshiar Singh, I/O PS Rampur stated therein that on 20.05.2016, at about 10.45 PM during patrolling alongwith staff  on NH-05 near Nogli Bridge, one person namely Suman Kumar S/o Sh. Somra Urav R/o village Panati PO & Tehsil Gumla Distt. Ranchi Jharkhand intercepted by them and recovered 36 bottles of country liquor marka Una No. 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Hoshyiar Singh, I/O PS Rampur.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 103/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 20.05.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Rama Nand S/o Sh. Dropti Nand R/o Village & PO Nirmand, Distt. Kullu alleging therein that on 20.05.2016, he was coming towards Rampur alongwith his friend in Motorcycle No. HP-35-2858. At about 06-00 PM when they reached near Gaura bifurcation, at the same time one A/F Bolero Camper driven by Surish Kumar, came rashly from Rampur side and hit his motorcycle & run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to them.

A Trespass case FIR No. 129/16 has been registered at PS West on 20.05.2016 U/S 451,353,294,143 IPC on the application  of Dr. Pankaj Lalit, Registrar in HP University Shimla-5 alleging therein that on 20.05.2016, at about 01-30PM, when he was present in his office, about 20/25 students of SFI organization under the leadership of Novel Thakur, Vivek Rana, Suresh Sarval, Chanderkant, Vijay Rathore, entered in his office by shouted slogans, obstructed him during performing govt. duty and also acted obscenity by remove their clothes.  The case is being investigated by ASI Ashwani Kumar, I/O PP Summer Hill.

6. A Bounded Labour Act case FIR No. 101/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 2.05.2016 U/S 16 The Bounded Labour System (Abolition) Act on the statement of Sh. Deepak Kumar Nepali S/o Kalu Ram A/P Tenant C/o Sardar Bhai Karam Singh near Peeli Kothi, Tarahall Shimla, age 16 years stated therein that he alongwith Karan went towards Kalka by Train. Thereafter they reached at Amritsar, where one person namely Hardeep Singh met him and took them to his house. After some days, he sent Karan to his sister's home. He took the labour work from him for the last 03 year in his fields and did not allow him to come home. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar.    

7. A Rioting case FIR No. 50/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 21.05.2016 U/S 147 323 506 IPC on the complaint of Rafique Mohd.  S/o  Hakumat Ali R/o Village Salyana, PO Chalnair, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla stated therein that he was discussing  with local peoples regarding some issue, At the same time Liyakat Ali, Latif, Rafi, Sultan & Haneef came there,  beaten him brutally& threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajneet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.

8. A Trespass case FIR No. 42/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 21.05.2016 U/S 451 342 323 506 IPC on the application of Sh A.K. Raghu R/o  SJVNL Clony Jeori, Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that today at about 11.00 AM, Nitesh Negi S/o Sh Jiwan Singh Negi come to his house to settle their financial issue.  During discussion,  Nitesh become aggressive, beaten him brutally, confined him in the room by locking the door and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Noop Ram No 235 I/O PP Jeori .

Crime Report on May 20, 2016

1. Assault on Public Servant during discharge of Govt. duty case FIR No. 25/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 19.05.2016 U/S 353 332 504 IPC on the statement of Const. Randhir Singh No. 1408, PS Jubbal, Shimla stated therein that on 19.05.2016, he alongwith another police personnel was on patrolling/traffic regulation duty in PS vehicle. At about 07-15PM, when they reached at Bridge near BDO office, Jubbal, where one Alto Car No. HP-10A-5994 was stopped in the middle of Bridge, causing obstruction to general traffic. When he asked the driver of above vehicle namely Devinder Singh S/o Sh. Jassa Ram R/o Village Sainj, PO Pandranoo, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla A/P Posted as clerk in BDO office Jubbal to remove the vehicle, on this he started to abuse, scuffle with him during performing his govt. duty & tore up his uniform. Accused has been arrested and the case is being investigated by ASI Raj Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.

2. A Theft case FIR No. 102/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 20.05.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Santosh Kumar Thakur S/o Sh. Jalam Ram R/o Village Runhal, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that he is serving as Supervisor in Gandhari Hydro Power Project at Jogani-1. On the intervening night, some unknown person has stolen away 100Kg. Iron from the site of Gandhari Hydro Power Project at Jogani. During investigation, above Iron wire is recovered from the the vehicle No. HP03T-4209 (Alto Car). In this case, 05 persons arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Ishwar Singh, I/O PP Taklech.

3. A Rioting case FIR No. 127/16 has been registered at PS West today on 20.05.2016 U/S 147,148,149,323,506 IPC  on the application of Sh. Bhupinder Sharma S/o Sh. Devi Chand Sharma R/o Tehsildar Bhawan, near 66KV Power House, New Totu, Shimla, age 55 years stated therein that on 20.05.2016 at about 08-00PM, one Truck No. HP-11C-2207 loaded with Cement come rashly & tried to hit him. On this, he fell down from the stair of his house. He told to Prashant where above truck was unloaded, but Prashant called telephonically to his uncle who  alongwith 15/20 persons come there with rods and threatened him & his son with dire consequences.

4.  A Fire Incident case FIR No. 23/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on the complaint of Sh. Surat Singh R/o Forest Range Nerwa, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 18/19.05.2016, some unknown person has set a fire in Opta forest. Due to fire 24 Hect. forest land including new plantation in 04 Hect. land burnt totally. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand, I/O PS Nerwa.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 44/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 20.05.2016 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Raju S/O Sh. Sadhu Ram R/O Village & PO Lowerkoti Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that his wife Smt. Malti Devi went to school for leaving the child, who was hit by a Pick-up of Harish Thakur S/O Sh. Yashpal Thakur R/O Lowerkoti, caused  sustained grievous injuries to her. During the course of treatment in CH Rohru she become demise. The case is being investigated by SI Mohan Singh I/O PS Rohru.

7. Deceased Deepak Kumar S/o Sh. Dev Bahadur Singh R/o Sehoria, PO Beruhi, Tehsil Banjapur, Distt. Chhapra, Bihar, age 22 years, who was worked in Hotel  Club Mahindra at Mashobra, has been died due to slip from the roof (4^th storey) while he was working on the roof. Proceeding U/S 174 Cr.PC is being carried out by I/C PP Mashobra.

8. Today on 20.05.2016, one of the deadbody of Amanpreet Singh S/o Sh. Jhalman Singh R/o Chandmajar, Village & PO Nawan Shahar, Punjab, age 21 years who was missing in the flood water due to cloud burst at Chewadi, recovered near Gharat Nalah, Sunni.

Crime Report on May 19, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 101/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 18.05.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Arun Kumar S/o Sh. Mukand Lal R/o Village & PO Deothi, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla stated therein that on 18.05.2016 at about 11-25 AM, a Motorcycle No. HP-06A-6725 (Pulsar) driven by Lovely Singh S/o Tilak, come rashly from Rampur side and collide with Tipper No. HP-06A-4172. In this accident Motorcycle rider Lovely Singh sustained injuries.

2. An Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No. 123/16 has been registered at PS West on 18.05.2016 U/S 336 IPC on the application of Sh. Hardev Verma S/o Lt. Sh. Jas Ram Verma R/o Village Kathala, PO Shoghi, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that digging work is being conducted by contractor Lalit Sharma & Sh. Surjeet Singh on the plot near his house. He requested them to stop the work, but they continuously put their labourer on digging work. On 18.05.2016, due to landslide, foundation & his whole house have been got cracked due to negligence work of above contractor & create danger to their lives. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS West.  

3. An Accident case FIR No. 124/16 has been registered at PS West on 18.05.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Yadav Singh S/o Sh. Prem Singh R/o Village Saroj, PO Kufri, Tehsil Padhar, Distt. Mandi A/P Driver in HPTDC, age 38 years stated therein that on 18.05.2016, after dropping the passenger at Victory Tunnel, he parked the above Bus No. HP-01-3538 near HPTDC workshop. At the same time a Truck No. HP-03C-4093 come rashly & hit his Bus from backside. In this accident one person who was stood nearby his bus, pressed between the above vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Basu Dev, I/O PS West.  

4. An Attempt to Theft case FIR No. 125/16 has been registered at PS West today on 19.05.2016 U/S 379 511 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hemant Sharma S/o Sh. Shankar Lal R/o Village Khelchaura,  PO Halog Dhami, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 26 years stated therein that he parked his vehicle No. HP-52A-8620 (Maruti Car) outside his shop at Khelchaura. On the intervening night of 18/19.05.2016, he listened some sound from the outside his home. On this he come out from his room and caught red handed three boys namely Vinod Kumar S/o  Sh. Chandan Singh R/o Forest Colony, Chakkar, Jitender Paudhar S/o Sh. Ganpat R/o Village Durai, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan & Om Gill @ Raman S/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Chakkar, Distt. Shimla, while they were trying to steal the tyres of his car. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/O PP Dhami.

Humasaran Village Tutupani PO Kadiwan Tehsil & PS Rohru Distt. Shimla HP age 19 years, arrested in case FIR No. 42/16 Dt. 15.05.2016 U/S 317 IPC at PS Rohru, is being produced before Ld. Court today.

Crime Report on May 18, 2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 48/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 17.05.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Shyam Tomar, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 17.05.2016 at about 03.30 PM, he alongwith staff was on law and order duty at Himiri fair. One person namely Harinder S/o Sh. Babulal Sharma R/o village Balag PO Bagari Tehsil Theog who was running a shop in the fair, has been searched by them and  recovered  12 bottles English liquor marka Royal Stag, 12 bottles Country liquor marka Himachal No 1. & 12 bottles of Beer marka Meakins 1000 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Tomar, SHO PS Kotkhai.
2. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 135/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 17.05.2016 U/S 341 323 506 IPC on the application of Smt. Savitri Devi R/o Dyal Bhawan, Malyana, PO Sanjauli Shimla, age 43 years alleging therein that she alongwith her family is residing  in the 4^th floor of her house and another three floors given to tenants on rent basis.  On 17.05.2016, at about 04-30PM when she was coming down to check the water, on the way her tenant Smt. Sushila Devi obstructed her way, beaten her & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Dutt, I/O PS Dhalli.
3. A House Trespass & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 136/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 17.05.2016  U/S 451 323 506 IPC on the application of Smt. Sushila Devi W/o Sh. Naresh Kumar R/o Dayal Bhawan, Malyana, Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that on 17.05.2016 at about 04-40PM, her landlord Smt. Savitri Devi criminally trespassed in her room, beaten her & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Dutt, I/O PS Dhalli.
4. A Cheating case FIR No. 122/16 has been registered at PS West on 18.05.2016 U/S 420,34  IPC  on the complaint of Sh. Prashant Sarkaik A/P Asstt. Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner Office Shimla stated therein that one Sh. Neeraj Kumar S/o Sh. Gian Singh R/o Maan Singh Building, Totu, Shimla has cheated MC Office Shimla by illegally charged the parking fees from the vehicle parked in their parking near Cecil Hotel at Chaura Maidan Shimla, since long time.  The case is being investigated by SI Ashish Semual.
5. An Accident case FIR No. 27/16 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 18.05.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 185 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Chunni Lal S/o Sh. Kundan Lal R/o Village Kanger, PO Reog, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla stated therein that on 17.05.2016, when he was going to home and at about 07-00 PM, as he reached at Gharrat Nalah, at the same time one Motorcycle No. HP-52A-0629 driven by Sh. Chunni Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Baru Ram R/o Village Sunni alongwith Madan R/o Shakrori, met with an accident due to rash & driving in drunken condition, cause sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.
6. During last 24 hours 499 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 182 & fine realized Rs. 66,400/-, 87 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 8800/- & 01 Challaned under Mining Act.

1. Accused Shiv Kumar S/o Sh. Gopal Singh R/o Village Pujarli, PO Dodra, Tehsil Kwar, Distt. Shimla, age 23 year, arrested in case FIR No. 24/16 Dt. 12.05.2016 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Jubbal, is further on police remand upto 19.05.2016.
