Crime Report on May 08, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No.108/16 has been registered at PS West on 07.05.2016 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS West, Shimla stated therein that on 07.05.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/ Traffic Checking duty towards Taradevi, road bifurcate to Totu. On Alto Car No. HP-62A-1775 alongwith 02 persons namely Prashant Chauhan (Driver) S/o Lt. Sh. Narayan Singh R/o Village Shila, PO Bakhol, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 23 years & Rupin Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Prakash Chauhan R/o Chauhan Niwas, Jivanu Colony, Parimahal, Kasumpti, Shimla, age 31 years, came from Taradevi side,  stopped by them for checking and recovered 16 bottles of Correx Cough Syrup Restricted Medicine from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS West.  

2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 24/15 has been registered at PS Sunni on 07.05.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla stated therein that on 07.05.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Dargi. On the secret information, he searched the house of Nardu S/o Sh. Raldu R/o Village Dargi, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla and recovered 30 litters Lahan (Country Liquor) from this possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.

3. An Excise Act case FIR No. 25/16 has been registered at PS Sunni on 07.05.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Prem Lal, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla stated therein that on 07.05.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff when he reached at Sainj and searched the Tea Stall of Balbir Singh S/o Sh. Ishwar Singh & recovered 17 bottles of Beer from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Lal, I/O PS Sunni.

4. A Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 107/16 has been registered at PS West on 07.05.2016 U/S 504,506,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vipin Sharma R/o Village Ganodi, PO Sirgi, Tehsil & Distt. Chamba, HP stated therein that he is Campus Secy. of SFI organization in HP University, Summer Hill Shimla. His student organization was on agitation regarding their demands for the one month. On 07.05.2016, some unknown person came in vehicle No. HP-51T-3874 (Scorpio)  at Pink Patel in HPU and abused their activists who are sit on chain hunger strike and threatened them with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS West.

5. A Grievous Injury case FIR No. 70/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 07.05.2016 U/S 341,323,325,34 IPC on the report of Sh. Sant Ram Sharma S/o Sh. Paras Ram R/o Village Sambar, PO Kyar, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 54 years stated therein that on 07.05.2016. he was going towards Kupdi Nalah (Kotkhai) from Chandigarh in his Pick-Up No. HP35-1299. On the way at about 03-30PM, he was stopped for taking lunch at Hotel near Bhue. At the same time his brother Suresh & Sister-in-law Smt. Sushma also came their and beaten him brutally. His sister-in-law attacked on him with iron rod and broken his tooth. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand, I/O PP Chhaila. 

6. An Accident case FIR No. 109/16 has been registered at PS West today on 08.05.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vishal Thakur S/o Sh. Ramesh Thakur R/o Village Bharari, PO Koti, Sub-Tehsil Junga, Distt. Shimla stated therein that he is conductor in Truck No. HP-52B-1224. On 07.05.2016, he was coming to Shimla from Chandigarh in above Truck loaded with sand, driven by Harish Kumar. When they reached near Shoghi School, at the same time one Bus came from Shimla side and truck driver immediately turn the truck and hit with HRTC Bus No. HP-63B-1179 parked on roadside & rolled down from the road into School Ground. This accident caused due to rash & negligent driving of Truck driver Harish Kumar. In this accident they both sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS West.

7. During last 24 hours 344 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 144 & fine realized Rs. 56,600/- and 39 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 3,900/-.

2. Accused Jagat Prakash S/o Sh. Gian Singh R/o Village Janglik, PO Tangnoo, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla, age 26 years,  arrested today in case FIR No. 45/16 Dt. 06.05.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Kotkhai, is on police remand upto 09.05.2016.  

3. Accused Prashant Chauhan (Driver) S/o Lt. Sh. Narayan Singh R/o Village Shila, PO Bakhol, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 23 years & Rupin Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Prakash Chauhan R/o Chauhan Niwas, Jivanu Colony, Parimahal, Kasumpti, Shimla, age 31 years have been  arrested in Case FIR No. 108/16 Dt. 07.05.2016 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act PS West, is on police remand upto 10.05.2016.

4. Accused Nardu S/o Sh. Raldu R/o Village Dargi, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 24/16 Dt. 07.05.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act at PS Sunni, released on bail by the Ld. Court.

5. Proclaimed Offender Faruq Ahmad S/o Mohd. Ramjan R/o Village Chakrun PO Binu, Tehsil & Distt. Kishatwar, J&K, age 42 year, arrested in case FIR No. 88/2008  U/S 379 IPC & 5 of Telegraph Act at PS Rohru. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.  

Crime Report on May 07, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 31/16 has been registered at PS Chopal on 06.05.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Nikka Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Ranu Ram R/o Village Thana (Mokna) PO & Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 06.05.2016 at about 06-20 PM, one vehicle No. HP-08B-1786 (TATA) coming from Nerwa met with an accident near Thana, due to rash & negligent driving of Ujagar Singh. In this accident driver Ujagar Singh and Bhopinder Singh sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal, I/O PS Chopal.

2. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 105/16 has been registered at PS West on 06.05.2016 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the application of Sh. Balvinder Singh A/P student of LLB 6^th Semester  at HPU Shimla stated therein that on 06.05.2016, during farewell party at HPU Auditorium, three activists of SFI organization namely Vivek Rana, Dinit Dhaneta & Vikram Kaith came and  pulled him & Ashok Sindhania, outside from Auditorium and beaten them brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Ashwani Kumar, I/C PP Summer Hill.

3. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 106/16 has been registered at PS West on 06.05.2016 U/S 341,323,504,506,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Prem Chand S/o Sh. Asha Ram R/o Village Shilgaon, PO Anandpur, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 27 year stated therein that he works in Hotel Snow Valley Resort and resided near Dargah at Kachighati Shimla. On 06.05.2016, when he was going to his residence, on the way, Hardeep, Sanju Negi, Chhotu alongwith another boys have obstructed his wa & beaten him brutally.  They have also abused him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Prakash, I/O PS West.

4. A Copyright Act case FIR No. 93/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 06.05.2016 U/S 63 Copyright Act on the complaint of Sh. MP Nathanael A/P Vigilance Consultant in NCERT R/o Sri Aurbindo Marg New Delhi-28 stated therein that on 06..05.2016 at about 01-00PM, he alongwith Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gaur- Production Officer & Sh. Ram Niwas Sharma- Vigilance Section raided in the Shop M/S Bansal Book Depot, Lower Bazar Shimla and found that above shopkeepers is selling fake books of NCERT i.e. Flamingo Class-XII, Our Past Part-II Class-Vii & Our Past Part-III Class-VIII. The case is being investigated by  SI Jai Nand, I/O PS Sadar.  

5. During last 24 hours 484 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 188 & fine realized Rs. 56,400/- and 35 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 3,500/-.

3. Accused Mohit @ Lokinder S/o Sh. Bheem Singh @ Lal Bahadur R/o Sai Sadan, Malyana, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 20 years, arrested in case FIR No. 133/16 Dt. 05.05.2016 U/S 376 IPC & 4 POCSO Act at PS Dhalli, today sent to judicial remand by the Ld. Court.

Crime Report on May 06, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 45/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 06.05.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Shyam Tomar, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty in the jurisdiction of PS Kotkhai. At about 01-35 PM,  when they reached near Anu Nalah, one person namely Jagat Prakash S/o Sh. Gian Singh R/o Village Janglik, PO Tangnoo, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla, age 28 years, intercepted by them and recovered 240 gram charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Tomar, SHO PS Kotkhai.   

2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 56/16 has been registered at PS East today on 06.05.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act & 181, 192, 196 MV Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS East, Shimla stated therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS East. At about 01-05AM, when he reached near Dev Nagar, one Bolero Camper No. HP-66-0419 driven by Virender Kumar S/o Sh. Rajender Kumar R/o Village Damechi, PO Beolia, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 25 years, came from Vikas Nagar stopped by them for checking and failed to produce any documents & driving license. During search of vehicle, 108 bottles of Country liquor & 24 bottles of English liquor recovered from the vehicle under his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS East.

3. Causing Death by Negligence case FIR No. 92/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 05.5.2016 U/S 304A IPC on the complaint of Sh. Babu Ram S/o Sh. Hiru Ram R/o Village Kachhar, PO Fagu, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, HP stated therein that his wife was pregnant for the last 9 months. On 02.5.2016, he admitted his wife in DDU ZH Shimla. On 04.05.2016, his wife feel pain and at about 05-00 PM, she was taken to labour room and at about 11-00 PM return back to Bed room. After  11-00 AM, his wife cried with hard pain, but the Duty Nurse Sunita Devi does not care her. At about 04-00 PM, Medical Officer declared her dead. This incident occurred due to negligence of Nurse Sunita Devi. The case is being investigated by SI Radhe Shyam, I/O PS Sadar.

4. A Theft case FIR No. 104/16 has been registered at PS West on 05.05.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Amit Kumar S/o Sh. Devinder Singh R/o Village Bhumkar, PO Shakrah, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that he is contractor in Reliance Jeo Company. On 04.05.2016, he received a payment amounting to Rs. 23,73,800/- from Reliance Jeo Company in his PNB account. On 05.05.2016, when he visited the Bank to withdraw the money and came to know that no payment has been deposited in his account. Thereafter Bank Manager told him that  one person namely Baldev Raj Rana has withdrawn the cheque. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/O PP Dhami.

5. During last 24 hours 388 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 141 & fine realized Rs. 48,100/- and 30 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 3,200/-. 

   Proceeding U/S 174 Cr.PC

1. On 05.05.2016, A Shepherd namely Bahadur Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Jindu Ram R/o Village Andhra (Badipanu) PO Konthali, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt.  Shimla, age 72 years slipped from the hill and fell down 200 meter ditch, while he was with their sheeps/goats in Dangwari forest and died on the spot. After conducted his postmortem at CHC Sandasu, his deadbody handed over to his relatives for cremation.

2. Deceased Puran Chand R/o village Prahat (near Hatkoti), who was posted at PS Chirgaon as Head Constable, fell down from the Hill near his home & sustained injuries on his head and died on the spot. After autopsy, his deadbody handed over to his family member for cremation.

3. An unidentified male deadbody found near Shoghi, Shimla. His postmortem is being conducted at IGMC Shimla and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.PC is being carried out by SI Ashish Semual.

Crime Report on May 05, 2016

1. An assault or criminal force to deter  public servant from discharge of his duty Case FIR No. 90/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 04.05.16 U/S 353 332 341 504 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Amit Thakur, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Shimla stated therein that on 04.05.2016 at about 09-30 PM, during traffic checking, when he alongwith driver Hans Raj was going towards Chhota Shimla in govt. vehicle and reached near Gurudwara at Cart Road, Shimla, where one Alto Car No. HP-01M-0865 park in middle of the road. Driver Hans Raj signed the Alto Car driver by blowing horn to remove the vehicle from the road, but he did not remove his vehicle. Thereafter driver of Alto Car came out from the vehicle with stick, abused and scuffle with him during performing his govt. duty & torn his uniform. In this incident, he sustained injuries on his right hand & other parts of his body.  The case is being investigated by Insp. Chander Shekhar, SHO PS Sadar. 

2. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 91/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 05.05.2016 U/S 341, 323, 504 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pawan Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Dhannu Ram R/o House No. 88/14 Swraj Nagar, Kharad, Distt. Mohali, Punjab, age 45 years stated therein that on 04.05.2016, he came to Shimla from Chandigarh in his Taxi No. CH-02AA-3578 alongwith passenger. At about 09-30 PM, after dropping the passenger, as he drives the Taxi, at the same time some police personal came there, abused  and beaten him brutally. He sustained injuries on his head & Arms. The case is being investigated by SI Jai Nand, I/O PS Sadar.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 93/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 04.05.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pradeep Kumar S/o Sh. Kundan Lal R/o Village Danewati, Sub-Tehsil Nankhari, Distt. Rampur stated therein that on 04.05.2016, he was going towards Danewati. When he was reached near Punnam, one vehicle No. HP-63B-0109 (Alto K-10) came towards Nankhari, met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of car driver. In this accident, 05 persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Chhotu Ram, I/O PP Nankhari.

4. An Arms Act case FIR No. 30/16 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 05.05.2016 U/S 20-54-59 Arms Act on the rukka of ASI Deep Chand I/O PS Chopal stated therein that on 04.05.2016 he along with staff was going towards village Bhoral in c/w the inquiry of complaint. On the secret information, he searched the Dhara of Krishan Bhadur S/o Tek Bhadur R/o Village Timekenda, Gabis Kaland, District Salyan, Anchal Rapti Nepal C/o Mela Ram R/o Village Bhoral P.O. Matal, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla and recovered a Gun 12 Bore SBBL without License/permit with 11 cartages from his possession. The Case is being investigated by ASI Deep Chand I/O PS Chopal.

5. During last 24 hours 412 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 108 & fine realized Rs. 55,300/-, 51 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 5,200/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.  

   Proceeding U/S 174 Cr.PC

1. Deceased Het Ram S/o Sh. Druga Ram R/o Village Souti, PO Chandol, Tehsil Sadar Bilaspur, age 62 years was found unconscious on his bed in his room, which was brought to IGMC Shimla for treatment by his landlord, where Medical Officer declared him brought dead. After autopsy at IGMC Shimla, his deadbody handed over to his family members for cremation.

2. Deceased Sonam Chhering, posted in Police Head Quarter as Junior Executive, coming from Distt. Lahaul & Spiti, fell down near his house at Sadhna Ghati near Chhota Shimla. He was immediately shifted to IGMC Shimla, where he was declared brought dead by MO IGMC. After autopsy at IGMC Shimla, his deadbody handed over to his family members for cremation.

1. Accused Krishan Bahadur S/o Tek Bhadur R/o Village Timekenda, Gabis Kaland, District Salyan, Anchal Rapti Nepal C/o Mela Ram R/o Village Bhoral P.O. Matal, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla, arrested today in case FIR No. 30/16 Dt. 05.05.2016 U/S 20-54-61 Arms Act at PS Chopal. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.  

Crime Report on May 04, 2016

1.    An Excise Act case FIR No. 39/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 03.05.2016 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/ SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 03.05.2016, at about 03:30 PM on the secret information, he alongwith staff searched the Dhaba of Chandar Sunar at Mahasu & recovered  07 Bottles country liquor marka Himachal No.1 from his possession. The Case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Kotkhai.

2.    An Accident case FIR No 22/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 03.05.2016 U/S 279,304A  IPC  on the Statement  of  Sh. Mohi Ram Sharma S/O Sh. Khayali Ram Sharma  R/O Village Gumma PO Bohar Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla age 56 years stated therein that on 03.05.2016 at about 2.00 PM, A Alto Car No. HP-10A- 8151 met with an accident near Gumma due to rash and negligent driving of Rocky Negi S/o Sh. Babu Ram Village Mandli P.O Masli Tehsil Chirgoan Distt Shimla and rolled down 500 meter from the road. In this accident four persons namely Hitesh  S/o Sh. Prithvi Raj R/O Village Dali,  Kamesh S/O Yashpal  R/o Village Dali, Sanam S/O Lt.Sh. Madho Singh Village Shaleth, Rockey  Negi S/O Sh Babu Ram R/o Village Mandli PO Masli Tehsil Chirgaon Distt Shimla,  died on the spot. The case is investigated by  SHO PS Nerwa.

3.    An Accident case FIR No. 92/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 04.05.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Manjeet Singh S/o Sh. Gulab Singh R/O Sh. Addu S/T Nankhari Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that  on 03.05.2016, he alongwith Lalit Kumar, Prem Singh and Kesar Singh was going towards Addu in his Car No CH03L-5278. At about 03.15 PM when they reached near Jawalda, above  vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Prem Singh. In this accident, they all sustained injuries. The case is being investigating by HC Bakshi Ram, I/O PP Nankhari.        

4.    A Grievous Injury case FIR No. 89/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 03.05.2016 U/S 325 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Karandeep S/o Sh. Yog Raj R/o Village Darkoti, PO Jhanjyani,  Tehsil Badsar, Distt. Hamirpur A/P Tenant C/o Giriraj Niwas, Ram Nagar, Shimla stated therein that he is the member of State Library, Shimla. On 27.02.2016, he went to above library, but the library was closed due to holiday. He sat aside for study. After sometime one Mr. Ankush came inside the library and started talk with his friends loudly. When he requested him to speak slowly, on this  he beaten him brutally. He was medically examined at DDU ZH Shimla. On 03.05.2016, Medical Officer has given Grievous Injuries to him in his final opinion. The case is being HC Puran Singh, I/O PS Sadar.    

5.    A Trespass case FIR No. 131/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 03.05.2016 U/S 451, 323,506,34 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Nanda W/o Sh. Rattan Sharma R/o Sharma Niwas, New Housing Board Colony near Vidya Bhavan, Sanjauli Shimla stated therein that on 03.05.2016, she alongwith her daughter Priti was installing the Water Tank on the slab of her house with the help of Plumber. At about 04-00PM, her neighbourer Smt. Poonam alongwith her son & daughter came into her slab, started abusing & beaten them brutally. They have also stopped the work and threatened Plumber with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by SI Ajay Kalia, Addl. SHO PS Dhalli.   

6.    A Trespass case FIR No. 132/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 03.05.2016 U/S 451, 323, 504, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Manoj Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Mansa Ram R/o Shaanveer House, near Housing Board Colony, Sanjauli Shimla on 03.05.2016, his wife telephonically informed him that their neighbourer Sh. Rattan Sharma & his wife Smt. Nanda Sharma were illegally laying the water pipe line on the setback of his house. On this, he alongwith his wife reached at home and suggested them to lay the pipeline with Pillar of their slab. On this, they become aggressive and started abusing them. They have also beaten them brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by SI Ajay Kalia, Addl. SHO PS Dhalli.

Crime Report on May 03, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 41/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 02.05.2016 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act on the Rukka of SI Virochan Negi, SHO PS Kumarsain stated therein that on 02.05.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS Kumarsain. At About     01-40PM, when they reached near Jarol at Gohra and 421 Opium Plants have been found cultivated in the fields of Dhyani Devi W/o Lt. Sh. Subash Chand R/o Vill Jarol (Gohra) PO Jarol Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla HP. Accused arrested & the case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi, SHO PS Kumarsain.

2. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 88/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 03.05.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND & PS Act on the rukka of HC Man Dass, I/O PS Sadar Shimla stated therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling & collect the intelligence towards Cart Road, Local Bus Stand in Shimla. At about 05-00 AM, when they reached near Gurudwara, one person namely Visheshwar Lal S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Imrali, PO Taklech, PO Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 34 year intercepted by them and recovered 90 gram Charas from his possession. Accused arrested and the case is being investigated by HC Man Dass, I/O PS Sadar.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 129/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 02.5.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Ms. Diksha Sharma D/o Sh. Pyare Lal Sharma R/o village Pujarli, PO Kalbog, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla A/P Kahan Niwas Cemetery, Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that  on 02.05.2016,  she alongwith her friend Sheetal came to Sanjauli Bazar. At about 01-45PM, when they reached near Joginder Drycleaner Shop, at the same time one vehicle No. HP-63-6726, driven by an unknown lady, came rashly and run the tyre on her right foot and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by  HC Lekh Ram, I/O PP Sanjauli.  

4. An Accident case FIR No. 130/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 03.05.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Trilok Kumar Sharma S/o Sh. Ishwar Dutt Sharma R/o village Moolbhajji, PO Thaila, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla, age 37 year on 02.05.2016, he alongwith Pawan Kumar were coming back to Gharat Nala from Basantpur in vehicle No. HP-63A-1862 (Nano) driven by Yashpal. At about 09-30PM, when they reached near Katali Nala, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Yashpal and rolled down 30 feet from the road, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Nag Dev, I/C PP Mashobra.

5. An Accident case FIR No 89/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 03.05.2016 U/S 279,304A IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Jitender Kumar S/O Sh. Jagat Ram R/o Village Nangli  PO Bhanupali Tehsil  Aanandpur Sahib Distt Ropar alleged that on 03.05.2016 at about 08-15AM  when he was present in his shop at Gaura Byfrication, at the same time one Tipper No. HP-06-7007 driven by Dinesh R/O Jagakhana, came rashly & crushed a lady  namely Chander Mani D/O Budi Ram, A/P Labourer in IPH Department Rampur & run away from the spot. In this accident, Chander Mani died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Khaidi Ram I/C TTR Rampur.

6. A Forest Act case FIR No.  87/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 02.05.16 U/S 447 IPC & 33 I.F. Act on the complaint of Sh. Neela Dass A/P Forest Guard, Kamyana Beat, Forest Area Taradevi, Shimla stated therein that on 28.04.2016, when he was on patrolling in his beat R-19 in Dummi Forest are and found that some unknown people has illegally constructed 150 meter road in forest land. The case is being investigated by HC Rajpal, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

7. A Trespass case FIR No. 90/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 03.05.2016 U/S 451,323 IPC on the statement of Smt. Ram Dassi W/o Sh. Jia Lal R/o Village Baseri Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that today at about 09.00AM, Smt. Geeta Devi W/o  Sh. Ganga Ram R/o Village Urtoo entered in her house and beaten her brutally. She have also a infant baby in her arms, who also sustained injuries. After that Geeta Devi threatened her with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Yoginder Singh, I/O PS Rampur.

Crime Report on May 02, 2016

1. Danger or obstruction in public way or line of navigation Case FIR No 54/16 has been registered at PS East today on 02.05.2016 U/S 283 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Raman Roach A/P President of Welfare Society stated therein that some unknown person has unloaded the large quantity of iron rods at Rani Park, caused obstruction to the Children to play as well as the common people who comes for walking at the Park. The case is being investigated by HC Pramod, I/O PP Kasumpti.     

2. An Accident case FIR No 21/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 02.05.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Gopal Singh, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar, Jubbal stated therein that on 02.05.2016 at about 08-30 AM, one Maruti Car No. HP-10A-8413 met with an accident at Ganti Khad near Hatkoti and rolled down approximately 40/50 feet from the road, due to rash & negligent driving of Man Singh S/O Sh. Narsu Ram R/O Vill. Bartu PO Seema Tehsil & PS Rohru Distt Shimla age 63 years, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Gopal Singh, I/O PP S/Nagar, PS Jubbal.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 69/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 01.05.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Prakash Kalta S/o Sh. Mauji Ram R/o Village Dakahal, PO Kuthar, Tehsil & PS Theog, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 01.05.2016 at about 06-45PM, one Alto Car No. HP-09A-3126 on the way towards Kuthar. When he reached near Baneha above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Hari Ram, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha.  

4. An unlawful assembly & Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant case FIR No. 86/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 01.05.2016 U/S 143, 188 IPC on the rukka of Insp. Chander Shekhar, SHO PS Sadar, Shimla stated therein that on 01.05.2016,  he alongwith staff was on duty at Scandal Point, The Mall Shimla. At about 04-45PM, about 50/60 workers of CITU under the leadership of Sh. Vijender Mehra, Balbir Prashar & Pawan Sharma assembled at Scandal Point by carrying the Banner, in support of labourer's strike at Shong-Tong Project and violated sec. 144 Cr.PC. They have shouted slogans against the state govt. & District Administration Kinnaur. Seven workers namely Vijender Mehra, Balbir Prashar, Pawan Sharma, Jagdish Kumar, Balak Ram, Babu Ram & Vinod Birsanta have been arrested by the police and released on personal/surety bond. The case is being investigated by Insp. Chander Shekhar, SHO PS Sadar.   

5. A Trespass case Fir No 38/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on  02.05.2016 U/S  451,427,323,34 IPC on the application of  Sh. Ram Dayal A/P Salesman in Wine Shop at Gharat Nala  Sarhan alleging therein that on 01.05.2016, he alongwith another salesman Mehar Chand  were in the wine shop. At about 09-40 PM, one person namely Anil Kumar  alongwith his  friend entered in the shop & beaten him brutally. They have also broken the wine & Beer bottles and run away from the spot.  The case is being investigated by HC Dola Ram, I/O Of PP Sarhan.

6. A Grievous Injury case FIR No. 21/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 02.05.2016 U/S 323, 325 IPC  on the complaint  of Sh. Sunder Singh S/o Sh. Kaka Ram R/o Village Bijmal  Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla alleging therein that  on 11.04.2016, when he was present near the shop of Mahender, suddenly  one person namely  Karanveer beaten him brutally and pelting stone on him, caused sustained injuries on his left eye. On this his  medical examination was conducted at CH Nerwa, from where he has been referred to IGMC Shimla, further referred to PGI Chandigarh. Today on the basis of his  treatment summary,  MO CH Nerwa has given grievous injury  to him in his final opinion. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh I/O PS Nerwa.
