CRIME REPORT 06 JULY

1.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 142/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 05-07-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Lal Singh S/o Sh. Banta Singh driver in PRTC Firojpur, alleging therein that on 06-07-13 at 7:40 AM when he drive vehicle Bus No. PB-05V-9449 near Khwara Chowki one vehicle Truck No. HP-12C-9268 came rashly and hit his above bus. Case is being investigated by HC Keshav I/o PS West.

2.     A THEFT case FIR No. 39/13 is registered at Police Station Chirgaon on 06-0-713 U/S 41, 42 IF Act & 379 IPC on the report of PSI Ashish Pathania alleging therein that during Nakka duty near Larot he recovered 937 Kg Nagchhatri from the illegal possession of Padam Singh S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Vill Tangnu, Teh Chirgaon, Distt Shimla. The cost of stolen Nagchhatri is 18,74,000/- (app).

3.     During last 24 hours 204 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 09 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005) and 3 challaned under Mining Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV & COPTA is Rs. 66,800/-.

Inauguration of Welfare center in Police Lines Kaithu, Shimla

Today on 05- July 2013 a Police Welfare Centre which will run a Crutch, Sewing Centre, Training centre for wives of Police Officials was inaugurated at Police Lines Kaithu by Worthy Director General of Police Himachal Pradesh, Sh. B Kamal Kumar in the presence of ADGP Vigilance, Sh. Prithvi Raj, DIG/CID Smt. Satwant Atwal, officers & Officials of Shimla Police & lady wives.

CRIME REPORT 05 JULY

1.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 38/13 is registered at Police Station Chirgaon on 05-07-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the report of PSI Ashish Pthania Police Station Chirgaon that on 05-07-13 one vehicle JCB No. HP-10B-9812 met with accident near Vill Dhamodi. In this accident 3 persons sustained injuries.

2.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 80/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 04-07-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Surendra W/o Sh. Kushal Chand R/o Vill Dharai, PO Deem, Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 04-07-13 at 6:30 PM when she was going to Khadapathar along with her husband and children in vehicle No. HR-03C-0979 one vehicle No. HP-52B-0442 came from Theog side and hit her vehicle. This accident occurs due to rash & negligent driving by driver. Case is being investigated by ASI Santokh Singh I/o PS Theog.

3.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 65/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 05-07-13 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the complaint of Sh. Hemraj S/o Sh. Mohan Lal Chauhan R/o VPO & Teh Chirgaon, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 05-07-13 at 11:00 AM when he came from Mehli along with his friends Surinder Chauhan and Keshav Thakur in vehicle No. HP-62A-1447. When they cross Malyana one vehicle Bolero Camper No. HP-63B-0370 fell into a trench. They stopped and came down to move out above Bolero Camper. When Keshav Thakur S/o Sh. Bhag Singh Thakur R/o Vill Dhaura, PO Sohar, The Naina Devi, Distt Bilaspur looking into a trench, suddenly the driver of Bolero Camper Maan Singh S/o Sh. Khatri Ram R/o VPO Dugana, Teh Shillai, Distt Sirmaur, started the above vehicle and hit above Keshav Thakur accidently. They rushed him to IGMC, where doctor declared him brought dead. Case is being investigated by HC Mohan Dutt I/O PP Kasumpti.

4.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 141/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 05-07-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Partap Kumar S/o Sh. Jiya Lal R/o Vill Kayna, PO Rouri, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 04-07-13 at 9:30 PM during his dinner he heard a noise of vehicle on this when he went out of his house, he saw one vehicle Nano car No. HP-62-2091 fell down from the road near his house. He rushes the spot and found Sh. Raj Krishan S/o Sh. Surat Ram and Sh. Dalip Kumar sustained injures. Case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal I/o PP Jutogh.

5.     During last 24 hours 139 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 11 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA is Rs. 27,900/-.

CRIME REPORT 04 JULY

1.     A HURT case FIR No. 37/13 is registered at Police Station Chirgaon on 04-07-13 U/S 353, 332, 504, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Munish Kumar S/o Sh. Puran Chand JE HPSEB Gushali, alleging therein that at 10:00 AM when he was waiting for Bus at Chirgaon one person named Diwan Singh S/o Kewal Ram R/o Vill Dagoli slap him and also threatened him with dire consequences. Case is being investigated by HC Kalam Singh I/o PS Chirgaon.

2.     A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 64/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 04-07-13 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Attar Singh S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Sharma Niwas, Shanan driver vehicle No. HP-07-4172, alleging therein that he overtakes one vehicle Bus No. HP-63-3111 and dropping passengers near panthaghatti then driver & conductor of Bus No. HP-63-3111came and beat him. Case is being investigated by HC Sheesh Pal I/o PP Kasumpti.

CRIME REPORT 03 JULY

1.    A SNATCHING case FIR No. 139/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla 02-07-13 U/S 356 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Priti W/o Sh. Devinder Chandel R/o Vill Chainer, PO Saryanj, Teh Arki, Distt Solan, alleging therein that at 7:00 PM when she and her sister Priyanka went to her quarter Fagli from ISBT Tuti Kandi, near Tuti Kandi crossing one person came from back side and snatched her necklace and ran away from the spot. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagi Rath I/o PS West.

2.    An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 140/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 03-07-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sushil Thakur S/o Sh. Ravinder Singh Thakur R/o Ravinder House, Tuti Kandi, Shimla, alleging therein that when he went to Chandigarh from ISBT Tuti Kandi Shimla, he saw one vehicle fell down about 300 ft. from road. When Police rushed to the spot they found one vehicle Car No. HP-52A-5540 met with accident and 3 persons sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by HC Kashav I/o PS West.

3.    An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 79/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 03-07-13 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the complaint of Sh. Harish Kanwar S/o Sh. Narender Kanwar R/o Vill Banabag, PO Kathog, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 02-07-13 when he went to his home in vehicle Pick-up No. HP-25A-0855 near Lafughati he saw one vehicle Pick-up No. HP-62A-0552 fell down 500 mtr. from the link road to Pitinal. In this accident one person named Girja Nand R/o Kilra died on the spot. Case is being investigated by Insp/SHO Baldev Thakur.

4.    An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 63/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 02-07-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kapil Chauhan S/o Sh. Shashi Chauhan R/o C/o Chauhan Business Center, Sargheen, Kasumpti, Shimla, alleging therein that on 02-07-13 at 8:45 PM one vehicle Spark No. HP-15A-0510 came from Panthaghati and at Sargheen Chowk fell down from the road due to rash and negligent driving by driver Beer Singh. In this accident 3 persons sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by HC Mohan Dutt I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.

5.    During last 24 hours 188 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 09 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA is Rs. 30,100/-.

CRIME REPORT 02 JULY

1.     (ACCUSED ARRESTED) A MURDER case FIR No. 75/13 was registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 30-06-13 U/S 302, 341, 427, 34 IPC during investigation on 01-07-13 at 7:30 PM one person named Mahinder Singh S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Vill Larki, PO Kotighat, Teh Kumarsain, Distt Shimla has been arrested from Rampur by police party.

2.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 78/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 01-07-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the complaint of Mahesh Sharma S/o Sh. Laiq Ram Sharma R/o Vill Galu, PO Fagu, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 01-07-13 when he was near Shani Mandir an Ecoment Truck No. HP-62A-1785 came from Shimla, driver Chhater Singh lose the control and fall down from the road. In this accident one person named Vinod Kumar S/o Ram Krishan R/o Vill Nala, PO Fagu, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla got died on the spot and two person sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by Asi Kamal Nain I/ c PP Fagu.

3.     During last 24 hours 228 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 09 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA is Rs. 24,100/-.

4.     Two persons namely Ramesh Kumar S/o Rama Nand and Rajender Kumar S/o Sh.  Balak Ram R/o VPO Chkhar, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla have been arrested U/S 107/151 Cr. PC at Police Station Theog on 02-07-13.

CRIME REPORT 01 JULY

1.     An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 133/13 is registered at Police Station on 30-06-13 on the report of ASI Paramjeet Saini Sadar Shimla, alleging therein that on 30-06-13 at 7:00 PM during patrolling duty along with staff he recovered 600 grm Chars from the illegal possession of Diwakar Sharma S/o Sh. Devi Ram Sharma R/o Vill Shoshan, PO Namhol, Teh Sadar, Distt Bilaspur from Timber Depot, Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

2.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 113/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 30-06-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Rohit Bhardwaj S/o Sh. Prahlad Bhardwaj R/o Vill Kehari, PO Oddi, Teh Kumarsain, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 30-06-13 at 6:30 PM one vehicle Motor Cycle No. HP-06C-1300 met with accident near Nirath, due to rash and negligent driving. Case is being investigated by HC Sunil Kumar I/o PS Rampur.

3.     An INDIAN FOREST ACT case FIR No. 114/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 01-07-13 U/S 447 IPC & 32, 33 IF Act on the complaint of Sh. Hardev Singh Negi Range forest officer Rampur, alleging therein that RHEP Jhakri, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla encroached the Govt./Forest land in Moza Duttnagar to construct the road. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/o PS Rampur.

4.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 61/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 30-06-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Lalita Rana W/o Sh. Hira Singh Rana R/o VPO Timbi, Teh Shilai, Distt Sirmaur, alleging therein that on 30-06-13 when she was on the way to Sai Temple with her neighbour in vehicle No. DL-4CH-6420 near Majhar driver Dinesh lose the control and above vehicle fell down from the road and all people's sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by HC Sheesh Pal I/o PS East.

5.     A BURGLARY case FIR No. 30/13 is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 30-06-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the compliant of Smt. Rewati Devi W/o Sh. Relu Ram R/o C/o BMO Office Nerwa, alleging therein that some unknown person has stolen away 1 pair gold kante, 1 gold ring & 2 nose pins from her house. Case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar I/o PS Nerwa.
