CRIME REPORT 5 APRIL

1.   A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST BY PUBLIC SERVANT case FIR No. 37/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 05-04-13 U/S 409 IPC & 13(2) PC Act on the complaint of Sh. M R Negi D.M State Co-operative Bank, Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that one Mr. L R Thakur Ex-Branch Manager R/o Vill Punder, PO Deha, Teh. Theog, Distt Shimla, misused his position and unlawfully sanctioned loan to the people and himself about Rs. 3,23,07,000 (app). Case is being investigated by SHO Baldev Singh Thakur.

 

2. A BURGLARY case FIR No 54/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 04-04-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Malta S/o Sh. Daulat Ram Malta R/o Malta Niwas, Dhingu Dhar, Sanjauli, Shimla, alleging therein that on 04-04-13 some unknown person has stolen away 1 Camera Kodak and Cash Rs. 8,500/- from his house. Total value of stolen property is Rs.13000/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Ajit Kumar I/O PS Dhalli.

3. A HURT case FIR No. 13/13 is registered at Police Station Kotkhai on 04-04-13 U/S 325, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Vikesh S/o Sh. Kashmir Singh R/o VPO Deothi, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 27-03-13 at 5:00 PM persons namely Manoj, Tonny, Sanjeev and Liqu Ram beat him at Himri. Due to this he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by HC Roshan Lal I/o PS Kotkhai.

4. A Vehicle ACCIDENT case FIR No. 14/13 is registered at Police Station Kotkhai on 05-04-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the complaint of Sh. Neeraj Chauhan S/o Sh. Randeep Chauhan R/o Vill Bakhrail, PO Gumma, Teh Kotkhai, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 05-04-13 at 8:00 AM when his laborer's daughter Sonakshi was filling the water, one vehicle Maruti Car No. HP-09A-3127 met with accident and hit Sonakshi. She was taken to hospital for treatment where she was declared dead. This Case is being investigated by HC Roshan Lal I/O PS Kotkhai.

 

5. A HIT and Run case FIR No. 59/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 04-04-13 U/S 279, 337, 338 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mansa Ram S/o Sh. Hari Dass R/o Vill Khanash, PO Sarahan, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 04-04-13 at 9:00 PM, when he was crossing the road near GSSS Rampu,r one vehicle Maruti Car No. HP-34A-2797 hit him and ran away. In this accident he sustained injuries. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by Parkash Thakur S/o Sh. Tej Sing R/o Vill Ner Chowk, Distt Mandi. Case is being investigated by HC Yoginder Singh I/O PP City Rampur.

 

6. During last 24 hours 206 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 10 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Product Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of Challans under MV& COPTA Act is Rs. 46,400/-.

CRIME REPORT 4 APRIL

 RECOVERY OF STOLEN PROPERTY

1.       A case under Indian Forest Act FIR No. 21/13 is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 04-04-13 u/s 32 & 33 IF Act & 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Puran Chand Forest Range Officer Tharoch, Nerwa, Tehsil Chopal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that in the forest beat Pujarli about 4/5 months ago some unknown persons cut down 54 tree of Kayal & Deodhar and stolen away. Total cost of stolen trees is Rs. 12,87,349/- During investigation the stolen property worth Rs. 7,16,944 has been recovered. Case is being investigated by HC Ravinder I/c PS Nerwa.

2.      An vehicle ACCIDENT case FIR No. 57/13 u/s 279, 337 IPC dated 03.04.20132 is registered at this Police Station West, Shimla  on the report of Sh. Kamal Kumar s/o Sh. Mouji Ram R/o Vill. Rajeev Nagar Teshil and Distt. Hisar hariyana A/P DVR in Haryana Roadways alleging therein that on 03.04.2013, he was on ;his route in Bus No. HR 58A-8204 from Yamuna Nagar to Shimla. At  about 1.25 PM, when reached in front of  Ashiyana, his bus was hit by a Eicher Tanker crane loaded with one small vehicle. The driver of the Eicher Tanker was badly injured. Driver and conductor of the bus came out and helped the Eicher Tanker Driver to pull out of the vehicle and sent them to the hospital . The passengers sitting in the bus also sustained minor injuries including driver and conductor. This accident took place due rash and negligent driving by the driver of Eicher tanker.

3.      A house TRESSPASS case FIR No. 58/13 dated 04.04.2013 bu/s 451, 504, 323 34 IPC is registered at Police Station West, Shimla the statement of Sh. Kamal kumar s/o Sh. Mohar Singh Thakur R/O. Vill. Shahily P.O. Piran Tehsil and Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that he was working as sales man in liquor Shop English and Desi at Lower Tutu. On 3-4-2013 at about 11.30 PM, he haerd the knocking sound on the shutter of the shop on this Sh. Nek Ram got up and asked who was knocking the shutter. The person told that he need 2 bottles wine and Beer but Nek Ram refused to give the wine. At this the persons outside started abusing and hitting the shutter badly with stones. At last Nek Ram opened the shatter and three boys come into the shop and beat him. He sustained injuries and was taken to IGMC for treatment

4.      During last 24 hours, 186 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 06 persons were challaned under COTPA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under M.V. Act and COTPA is Rs. 32600/-.

5.      On 03.04.2013 at  10.30 PM, Sh. Naresh Nakta VPO Shekhal Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla reported at PP Saraswati Nagar that his servant nepali Gorkha Govind Bahadur s/o Sh Man Bahadur consumed poison with alcohol. He was brought to PHC Sawra by Naresh Naikta where during treatment he was expired at 11.45 PM. After his postmortem his dead body was handed over to his wife and his owner for cremation.

CRIME REPORT 3 APRIL

1.      A vehicle accident case FIR No. 30/10 dated 03.004.2013 u/s 279, 337, 304 IPC on the statement of Sh. Anshu Katiyar S/O Sh Onkar Katiyar JTO BSNL Chhota Shimla Kasumpti alleging therein that o 02.04.2013 at about 10.30 PM he and his friend were going to home on Motorcycle No. HP63-4171 and when they reached near Vikasnagar bus stop, the motorcycle was hit with a tree and fell down. Both of them sustained injuries and they were taken to IGMC for treatment where Adarsh Tripathiwas declared dead by the doctor.

2.      A vehicle accident case fir No. 36/13 dated 03.04.13 u/s 279, 337, 304 aIPC registered iat Police Station Theog on the statement of Rakesh Kumar S/O Mani Chand R/O  Chindi PO Bakhrot Tehsil Karson District Mandi alleging therein that on 02.04.2013 when he was going alongwith Lal Singh,  Mohi  Ram and  Surunder in Maruti \car No. HP06C-0219 towards Deothi, the vehicle rolled down from the road in which 2 person mohi Ram and Lal Sigh died on the spot and other two person sustained injuries.

3.      A Burglary Case FIR  No. 15/13 u/s 454, 380 IPC at Police station New Shimla on 2-4-2013 on the statement of Smt. Neelam Rani W/O sh. Sunil dutt R/O Devgargh house Kanlog Shimla-9  alleging therein that on 02-4-13 after locking her room, She was going to US club with her private work. And when she came back at home at about 5.30 Pm., She found that her the lock of her room was broken and on checking she  found that all gold ornaments including 5 gold rings gents,2 gold ring ladies, 1 nath gold, one chain gold, 1 bangle gold , 2 pair jhumka , 1 pair ear ring gold & 3000/- Rs Cash were stolen by unknown.  

4.      A case FIR No. 12/13 dated 03.04.2013 u/s 341, 323 IPC is  registered on the application of Sh. Noor Mhd. S/o Sh. Abdual Gani, R/o Village Chilana, P.O. Bharanu, Sub-Tehsil & PS Nerwa, Tehsil & PS Chopal, District Shimla HP Stating therein that on 02.04.2013, when he along with Hasina Begam was going to Bhranu and reached at Bag, Brothers of Hasina Begam namely Ishak, Imran and Akram restrained them and beat them. The case is being investigated by ASI Partap Singh I/O PS Chopal

5.      During last 24 hours, 132 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 07 persons were challaned under COTPA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). CRIME REPORT 2 APRIL

1.      A forgery case is registered at Police Station Sadar vide FIR No. 69/13 dated 1-4-2013 U/S 466,474,193,199,196,197,198, 201,209,218,120-B IPC on the inquiry report of ASI Prem Lal I/O PS Dhalli alleging therein that Amam Chaudhary and his parents have prepared forged birth certificate of Aman Chaudhary in case FIR No. 237/11 U/S 302, 381 IPC PS Dhalli Shimla in connivance with Hospital authority Navgachhiyan (Bihar) to establish him as juvenile in above mentioned case

2.      A Restraint case FIR No 71/13 dated 1/4/13 u/s 341, 323, 34 ipc is registered at Police Station Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Jasvant Lal s/o Sh Dass Ram R/O H.No 2 near Cow Shed Krishna Nagar Shimla alleging there in that on 1/4/13 at about 7.15 PM, Harbans Lal and Rajni restrained  him and beat him.

3.      A burglary case FIR No. 56/13 Dated-01/04/13  U/S 454,380 IPC is registered at P.S. West, Shimla on the statement of Sh. Mohan Lal Dogra S/O Sh. Jeevan Lal Dogra R/O Shanti Kutia Chakkar Tehsil and Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 01/04/13 at about 02-00 pm when he reached back at his home from Fagu he saw that window of his house was broken. When he checked the room, he found that one gold chain, one ring gold, one ring diamond, one silver glass etc. and 10000/- cash was found stolen by some unknown person. Total value of stolen property is 90,000/- The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar No. 1672 P.S. WEST.

4.      During last 24 hours, 151 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 05 persons were challaned under COTPA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). CRIME REPORT 1ST MARCH

1.      A case under excise act FIR No 65/13 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on the report of HC Shiv Kumar No  172 that on 31.03.2013 at about 4.40 PM during patrolling duty 7 bottles of officer Choice were recovered from Ram Kumar R/O 115, Krishna Nagar Shimla.

2.      A case under excise act FIR No 66/13 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on the report of HC Bala  Ram 186 that on 31.03.2013 at about 5.40 PM during patrolling duty 5 bottles of English Liquor e were recovered from Munna Lal Sabzi Mandi Shimla.

3.      A case under excise act FIR No 67/13 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on the report of ASI Lachhmi Singh that on 31.03.2013 at about 6.45 PM during patrolling duty 6 bottles of English Liquor  were recovered from Om Krishan R/O Grace Hotel Shankli Road Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

4.       A Burglary case FIR No. 68/13 dated 31.03.13 u/s 454, 380 IPC is registered at Police Station Shimla on the statement of Smt. Suman Lata w/o Sh. Hira Lal at present Neejm hand Building village Badash, PO Shimla 3 alleging therein that on 31.03.2013 at about 11.00 AM she left her house to visit her uncle house at Badash. When she reached bat at her home at about 4.30 PM, she found the window of her house broken. On checking one gold Mangalsutra, one lady gold ring, one pair Kainten gold and currency notes of 35,000/- stolen from the house. The total cost of stolen property of Rs. 1,50,000/- approximately.

5.      CASE FIR No 29/13 dated 01-04-13 U/S 341,323,504,506,34 IPC is registered at Police Station East on the statement of Sh. Karan Kumar S/O Sh Santosh kumar R/O Jagdish Niwas Kasumpti Shimla-9 alleging therein that on 31-03-13 at about 11 PM, he was at Kasumpti Chowk with his friend Surender Verma and Rajnish Rana in the mean time a vehicle came and 3-4 persons got down from it and beat them. 6.      A case FIR No. 34/13 dt 31-03-13 u/s 452,354,323 ipc is registered at Police Station on the  application of Reena Devi w/o Roshan Lal r/o Devkelti Tehsil Theog distt Shimla alleging therein that at about 12 pm on 30-03-13 when she was in her home, Ramesh kumar s/o Inder Singh r/o Dev Kelti entered her room, beat her and tried to outrage her modesty. This case is being investigated by asi Bhagat Ram i/c pp Matiana.
