Crime Report on April 07, 2019

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 29/19 has been registered at PS Jhakri on the statement of Sh. Anshul Roach S/o Sh. Ashok Roach R/o Village Saroga, PO Thanedhar, Tehsil Kumarsain District Shimla stated therein that on 06.04.2019, he alongwith his friends was coming back from Sarahan Temple in Celerio car No. HP06C-2041. When they reached near village Dawarch, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 15 meters from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Naveen Chauhan S/o Sh. Satish Chauhan R/o Village Samlog, PO Delath, Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla. In this accident, they all sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Jagdish Kumar, I/O PP Jeori.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 61/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 06.04.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dalu Ram S/o Sh. Nagroo Ram R/o Village Shalat PO Shamani, Tehsil Nirmand, District Kullu, HP stated therein that on 06.04.2019 at about 11-15 AM, a Car No. HP06A-5770 driven by Mangat Ram S/o Sh. Narotam Dass R/o Village & PO Shingla, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving and hit a another Alto car No. HP50-0771 near Bittam Garage, sustained injuries to 05 persons.
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 84/19 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 07.04.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Aman Verma S/o Sh. Ved Prakash R/o Village Palag, PO Kadarghat, Tehsil Sunni, District Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 06/07.04.2019, a vehicle No. HP63D-2472 came rashly with negligent driving and hit a Tipper No. HP63-9579, which was parked in front of his vehicle No. HP62-5100 at Shogi Bazar, Shimla. Due to hitting car driver along with a persons sustained injuries and his vehicle, Tipper & other cars, which were also parked on the roadside, have been damaged. The case is being investigated by SI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS West Shimla.
4. A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 82/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 06.04.2019 U/S 448 147 149 323 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Gaurav Kukreja S/o Lt. Sh. Charanjeet Kukreja R/o  8/10, Alley No. 11, Middle Bazar, Shimla stated therein that he is running a Gift Shop as Gaurav Gift House for last 1½ years at Lower Bazar Shimla. Due to maintenance work, he kept closed his shop. On 06.04.2019, at about 02-00 PM, a person namely Surender alongwith his brother namely Rahul and three other persons namely Honey Mehra, Vicky Boxer & Suraj entered in his shop  by breaking the lock. On his asked, above persons beaten him, his friend Rajesh & his workers namely Vikas, Vikrant & Vipin, cuased sustained injuries to them. They have also threatened them with dire consequences.  
5. A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 83/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 06.04.2019 U/S 452 323 504 506 147 149 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Kumar @ Rahul R/o Honey Gift House, 117/3 Lower Bazar Shimla alleging therein that he is running a Mobile Repair Shops for the last 18 years and he pay Rs. 1700/- per day as a shop rent to Gaurav Kukreja. On 06.04.2019, he lost the key of his shop and asked Gaurav to give the another key of shop. But Gaurav refuse to give him the keys and asked him to break the lock. After that, when he alongwith his workers was busy  in his shop, at the same time Gaurav alongwith 5/6 persons namely Saiktu @ Rajesh Andy, Vikas & his brother entered in his shop and started to abuse them. They have beaten him and his workers brutally and also threatened him with dire consequences. In this incident, his workers namely  Akshay Kumar sustained injuries.

FOLLOW-UP

1. Proclaimed offender Lavneet Mehta S/o Sh. Kewal Krishan Mehta R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Batala, District Gurdaspur, Punjab, age 39 years, arrested in case FIR No. 63/16 Dt. 18.03.2016 U/S 420, 120B IPC at  PS Dhalli. He will be produced before the Ld. Court tomorrow. 

Crime Report on April 06, 2019

1. A CHEATING: Case FIR No.81/19 has been registered at PS Sadar on 05.04.2019 U/S 420, 120B IPC alleging therein that complainant got a friend request through Facebook from the account of Mr Devid. David said to the complainant that he wants to buy a property in Shimla and sought the help. He offered commission to the complainant in lieu of that deal. After some days he told the complainant that he has sent a gift and commission to purchase the property. Later complainant received a phone call from Mumbai Airport about the gift and the currency in Dollars & Pounds, sent for the complainant, posing as custom officer. The alleged custom officer asked for charge and insurance and asked for charge and insurance and asked to deposit different amounts, which the complainant did and deposited Rs. 10 lacs. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal I/O PS Sadar.
2. AN ACCIDENT :Case FIR No. 82/19 has been registered at PS West today on 06.04.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh Arjun Pratap Singh S/o Dr. Bhushan Singh R/o House No. 984 Subhash Nagar Jammu District Jammu alleging therein that today on 06.04.2019 a vehicle No. HP 52A 9237 driven by Bhupender Chandel S/o Sh Mahinder Singh Chandel village Ghandel P/o Shakrah Tehsil Dhami District Shimla hit him at NH 88 in which complainant sustained injuries . The case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar I/C PP Dhami.

Crime Report on 5th April 2019

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 58/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 04.04.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh Shiv Singh S/o Sh Atma Ram R/o village Jadevag P/o Sandhu Tehsil Theog District Shimla alleging therein that on 04.04.2019 a vehicle No. HP 09C 4409 hit him while he was going towards D.A.V School and run away from the spot. In this accident case complainant sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by S.I Laiq Ram I/O PS Theog.
2. During last 24 hours 451 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 190, 28 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

Crime Report on 4th April 2019

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 28/19 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 03.04.2019 U/S 279,337 on the complaint of  Sh  Hemant Gautam S/O Sh Devi Ram Gautam R/O  VPO Jeori  Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 03.04.2019 a Maruti Alto 800 No HP06-1097 came rashly from jeori  side and hit his daughter . This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving   of vehicle driver Vishal. Case is being investigated by ASI Chaman Negi I/C PP Jeori.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 23/19 has been registered at PS Kotkhai 03.04.2019 U/S 279,337,338 on the statement of Mohmad Riaz S/o Mohamad Shareef R/o village Pragti Nagar P/o Gumma Tehsil Kotkhai District Shimla alleging therein that on 03.04.2019 a Pickup No. HP62C-1025 met with an accident due to rash and negligent drving of Sanju Chauhan S/o Sh. Satya Nand R/o VPO Kalbog Teh Kotkhai District Shimla. In this accident driver Sanju Chauhan sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok I/O PS Kotkhai.
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 37/19 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 04.04.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Arun Kumar S/o Sh Bhopinder Singh R/o VPO Bamta Tehsil Chopal District Shimla alleging therein that today on 04.04.2019 a vehicle No. HP 08A 1397 met with an accident in which two persons namely kuldeep Singh S/o Sh Mohi Ram R/o VPO Bamta and Pramod Kumar S/o Sh Surender R/o VPO Bamta Tehsil Chopal sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender I/O PS Chopal.
4. A DISOBEDIENCE TO ORDER DULY PROMULGATED BY PUBLIC SERVANT: Case FIR No. 37/19 has been registered at PS East on 03.04.2019 U/S 143, 188 IPC on the rukka of Inspector Parveen Kumar SHO PS East alleging therein that on 03.04.2019 Students Parents/ Guardian Manch under the leadership of Sh. Vijender Mehra gathered outside  the St. Edward School and staged a dharna/ demonstration without any prior permission of the administration and shouted slogans against School Management & Distrit administration to oppose the heavy increased in school fees.  The case is being investigated by Inspector Parveen Kumar SHO PS East.
5. During last 24 hours 587 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 262, 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

Crime report on 3rd April 2019

1.         A TRESPASS: Case FIR 77/19 has been registered at PS West on 02.04.2019 U/S 447, 427 IPC on the complaint of Sh Sewak Ram S/o Late Sh. Shiv Chand R/o village Lagdu P/o Dhari Tehsil and District Shimla alleging therein that on 02.03.2019 Shri Mathu Ram S/O Late Sh. Balia Ram was constructing road by using JCB machine and some of the portion of Temple land damaged. This person trasspassed tample’s land without the prior permission of the Temple Committee. He also damaged the tample’s land by using JCB. The case is being investigated by I/O of PS West.

2.         A DISOBEDIENCE TO ORDER DULY PROMULGATED BY PUBLIC SERVANT: Case FIR No. 80/19 has been registered at PS Sadar on 02.04.2019 U/S 143, 188 IPC on the rukka of I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 02.04.2019 Students Parents/ Guardian Manch under the leadership of Sh. 3.         A CRIMINAL FORCE TO ANY PERSON BEING WORKING AS A PUBLIC SERVANT: Case FIR No. 78/19 has been registered at PS West on today on 03.04.2019 U.S 353,504 and 504 IPC on the complaint of Sh Suresh Chauhan Secutity Officer at HPU alleging therein that today on 03.04.2019 an activist of S.F.I used criminal force to deter his duty at HPU campus. He also abused him and threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by SI Lal Singh I/O PS West.

4.         AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 59/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 03.04.2019 U/S 279,337 IPC &187 MV Act in which complainant alleging therein that today on 03.04.2019 about 10-00 AM when complainant was going towards Chaudhary Adda Rampur one scooty A/F came from Khopri side rashly and hit complanaint and run from the spot immediately. In this accident complainant sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Mohinder Singh I/O PS Rampur

Crime Report on 2nd April 2019

1. AN EXCISE ACT : Case FIR No  24/19 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 01.04.2019 U/S 39(1) (a)  HP Ex Act on the Rukka of ASI Rajesh Kumar I/O PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 01.04.2019 during  patrolling he recovered   24 Bottles  of country and  12 bottles  of English liquor   from the possession of  Veer Kumar  S/O Shiv Nandan Bihari A/P  Vegetable seller at  Rehari Market Jhakri. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar I/O PS Jhakri. 
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 58/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 01.04.2019 U/S 279,337,338 IPC on the ruka of HC Norender I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 01.04.2019 a Maruti 800 No HP-25A-1063 met with an accident at NH-05 near Bhaira Khad in which Driver Avinssh Mehta S/O Sh. Ashok Mehta VPo Marehri Tehsil Kumarsain sustained injuries. This accident occurred due to negligent driving of car Ashok Mehta. The Case is being investiging by HC Norender.

Crime Report on 1st April 2019

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 38/19 has been registered at PS Rohru  U/S 39(1)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Shanti  Sawroop alleging therein that on 31.03.2019 at about  03.00 Pm, during patrolling alongwith staff  Near Koti Rantari Rohru one person namely Ajeet Kumar S/O Sh. Shanker Dass R/o Koti P/o Seema  Teh Rohru Distt. Shimla age 37 yrs. apprehended by them and recovered 96 Bottles of Country Liquor marka peradise Santra and 12 bottles of beer from his possession. The case is being investigated ASI Shanti Sawroop I/O PS Rohru.  
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 56/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 01.04.2019 U/S 39(1)A of HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Karam Chand alleging therein that today at about 12:30am he was on patrolling along with staff near New Duttnagar.During patrolling he recovered 20-boxes (240 bottels) of country liquor Marka Una No.-1 from the passion of Santosh Kumar S/O  Sh.  Ram Dual Vill. Shegni PO Durah Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu HP. Case is being investigating  by SI Karam Chand  PS Rampur.
3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. has been registred at PS Dhalli on 31.03.2019 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the Rukka of I/O PS Dhalli allieging therein that on 31.03.2019 during patrolling at Bhattakuffar 08 bottles of country liquor has been recovered from the possession of  Shuk Lal Bohra S/o Sh Veer Bohra R/o village Githasour P/o Jagpani Tehsil and Salyan Anchal Revati Nepal A/P C/o Ram Lal Niwas   R/oNeri Dhar Bhatta Kuffar Shimla.  
4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 32/19 has been registred at PS New Shimla on 31.03.2019 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of I/O PS New Shimla alleging therein that on 31.03.2019 he alongwith staff duting patrolling he recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from the possession of  Umesh Shah S/o Sh Mahaveer Shah R/o Saint Kuteeer Ridka P/o Chaura Maidan Shimla HP. The case is being investigated by SHO PS New Shimla.
5. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 35/19 has been registered at PS East on 31.03.2019 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Mehar Chand I/O PS East alleging therein that on 31.03.2019 he along with staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS East and recovered 24 bottles of English liquor from the possession of  Chaman Lal S/o Sh Dagu Ram R/o Kagra Niwas Nav Bahar Tehsil and Distt Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Mehar Chand I/O PS East.
6. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 76/19 has been registered at PS Sadar on 31.03.2019 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Krishan Chand I/o PS Sadar alleging therein that on 31.03.2019 he along with staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS Sadar and recovered 36 bottles of Country liquor from the possession of  Krishan Kumar S/o Sh Man Singh R/o 34/1 Anaj Mandi Gunj Bazaar Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Krishan Chand I/o PS Sadar.
7. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 77/19 has been registered at PS Sadar on 31.03.2019 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Tenzin Chering I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 31.03.2019 he along with staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS Sadar and recovered 12 bottles of English liquor from the possession of  Budhi Ram S/o Sh Bajir Chand R/o village Kharti P/o Ziya Tehsil Palampur, District Kangra. The case is being investigated by ASI Tenzin Chering I/O PS Sadar.
8. AN ACCIDENT ACT: Case FIR No.16/19 has been registered at PS Nankhari on 01.04.2019 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of SHO PS Nankhari on 01.04.2019 a A/F Celerio in which one person namely Anoop Kumar S/o Sh Dharma R/o Radara Nankhari died on the spot and two persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by I/O PS Nankhari.
