CRIME REPORT 07 JANUARY

1. An Excise Case FIR No. 3/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 06.01.14  U/S 39 H.P Excise Act on the Rukka of SI Sandeep Kumar I/C P.P L/Bazaar Shimla alleging therein that on 06.01.14 at about 9.40 PM while SI Sandeep Kumar along with staff on patrolling Duty, on the secret information he recovered 108 Bottles country Liquor at Rangyan from the possession of Narinder  (Nindu). The Case is being investigated by SI Sandeep Kumar I/C P.P Lakkar Bazar Shimla.

2. A Causing Death by Negligence Case FIR No. 05/14 is registered at PS Theog on    06.01.14 U/S 336, 304A on the statement of Sh.Jeet Rem S/o LT Sh Mehar Singh R/o Halai PO Sariwan  Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he bought an Alto 800 Car in November 2013. On 05.01.14 at about 7.45 PM his son Virender (Vicky) washed up the car. The car was parked in down slop place due to down slop place the car was neutral and fall down from the hill, his son Virender also fell down with the car and died on the spot. This accident occurs due to unnecessary teasing and neutral of car. The Case is being investigation by PSI Sanjeev Kumar I/O PS Theog 

3. During last 24 hours 157 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 05 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs.21, 000/-

CRIME REPORT 06 JANUARY

1. A Case of Abatement of Suicide Case FIR No. 02/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 6/1/14 U/S 306 IPC on the statement of Sh. Gulab Singh S/o Late Sh. Uchhabu Ram R/o Village Aar PO Vijamal PS Nerwa Teh. Chopal Distt Shimla alleging therein that his daughter namely Nisha Devi age 21 years studied in the Poly-Tech. College Rohru in the D-pharmacy course. On 06.11.13 warden of hostel told telephonically that his daughter hanging on the fan in the room. Before this incident accused has called on his mobile phone and used rough language to him. After that his daughter in law Nisha, his wife and son told him that accused harassed his daughter Nisha daily telephonically and by sending messages on her mobile phone. Due to this harassment his daughter hanged herself. The case is being investigated by ASI Karm Singh Thakur I.O PS Rohru 

2. During last 24 hours 21 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 18 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs.11,000/-.

CRIME REPORT 05 JANUARY

1. A Burglary Case FIR No. 02/14  is registered at PS Sunni  on  05.01.14 U/S 457 380 IPC PS Sunni on the statement of Sh. Puran Chand S/o Late Sh. Keshwa Nand R/o VPO- Basantpur, Tehsil- Sunni, Distt. Shimla, age-55 year alleging therein that he is working as Pujari in Mata Shanghai Temple at Basantpur since last one year. On 04.01.2014, after worship he locked the temple and went to his home. On 05.01.2014 at about 08-00 AM, when he came to the temple, he found that some unknown person has broken the door lock of above temple and stolen away 11 idols of brass from the temple. The Case is being investigated by SI Tara Singh Negi, SHO PS Sunni. 

2. During last 24 hours 145 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 12 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 33,900/-.

CRIME REPORT 04 JANUARY

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 3/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 3-1-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Chaman Chauhan S/o Sh. Roop Ram R/o Vill. Nihari, PO Bharari, Tehsil & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 3-1-14 a Tanker No. HR-37D-0545 hit him near Subzi Mandi Dhalli. This accident occurred due to negligence and rash driving by Tanker driver. The case is being investigated by HC Bhajan Dass, I/O PS Dhalli.

2. An Accident Case FIR No. 4/14 is registered at PS Theog on 3-1-14 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Neeraj S/o Sh. Praja Lal R/o VPO Fagu, Teh. Theog, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 3-1-14 a Maruti Alto Car No. HP09B-1470 hit his Truck No. HP63-4699 near Kufri. This accident occurred due to negligence and rash driving by Aulto driver Inder Singh S/o Iti Ram R/o VPO Kedi, Teh. Chopal, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Het Ram, I/O PS Fagu.

3. A Criminal Breach of Trust Case FIR No. 2/14 is registered at PS East on 4-1-14 U/S 406 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rohit Sharma R/o Admin Incharge, R.J.I L Office Shimla, alleging therein that he was installing machines and other equipments in his office i.e R.J.I L, Commercial Complex Verma Apartment Panthaghati, Shimla. He has further reported that two rolls of copper wire were found missing from the office premises whereas, Chowkidar who has been deputed in the premises was also present at that time. The case is being investigated by HC Shish Pal, I/O PP Kasumpti.

4. During last 24 hours 139 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 14 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 23,730/-.

CRIME REPORT 03 JANUARY

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 2/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 2-1-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vinod Sangroli S/o Sh. Sharn Dass  R/o Vill. Malthu, PO Baggi, Teh. Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 2-1-14 at about 3.00 PM  a vehicle Swift Dezair No.  HR99-RN. Temp. 4581 hit his vehicle  Temp. No HP03-4291 near IHM Kufri. This accident occurred due to negligence and rash driving by driver of HR99-RN. The case is being investigated by LHC Sarita, I/O PS Dhalli.

2. A ND&PS Case FIR No. 1/14 is  registered at PS  Kotkhai on 3-1-14 U/S 20-61-85 ND& PS Act on the report of  SHO PS Kotkhai that on 2-1-14 when he was on Naka duty alongwith staff near Rawlakiar, one person namely Dinesh Kumar S/o late Sh. Shyma Nand R/o Baswi, PO Kalbog, Teh. Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla started running by seeing police officials. During his personal search 71 grms of Charas has been recovered from his possession. Accused arrested. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Kotkhai.

3. A Cheating Case FIR No. 3/14 is registered at PS Theog on 2-1-14 U/S 420 IPC on the  complaint  of  Sh. Anant Ram S/o Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Vill. Halaila, PO Mahasu, Teh. Kotkhai, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that he is the owner of Khasara No. 795,797,798. Sh. Kewal Ram S/o Sh. Gopal Dass R/o Vill. Khanew, Teh. Theog, Distt Shimla filled an application for the installation of Electricity Meter and the Electricity Department installed the meter in his house. Patwari of Revenue Department has issued the certificate of  ownership of the above Khasara No. to him. But as per record he is not actual owner of that Khasara No. but the complainant of this case is the actual owner of this Khasara No. This certificate was issued wrongly by the Patwari in favour of Kewal Ram. The case is being investigated by ASI Muni Lal, I/C PP Chailla.

4. During last 24 hours 152 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 13 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 19,400/-.

CRIME REPORT 2 DECEMBER

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Sunni on 1-1-14 U/S 279,337 IPC on the report of SI/SHO PS Sunni that  a Alto Car No. HP63A-2600 met with an accident near Gharat Nala Sunni. Due to rash & negligence of driver this vehicle  fell down 100 mtrs., in which five persons got injured. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Sunni.

2. An Accident Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 2-1-14 U/S 279, 337, 304 A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mintu Verma S/o Sh. Om Prakash Verma R/o H.No. 98/2 Gali No.8 B, Shanti Nagar Manimajra, Chandigarh, alleging therein that on 2-1-14 at about 9-00 AM a vehicle HR No.  39C-2299 met with an accident near Kufri By-pass. Due to rash & negligence of driver Suresh Kumar. In this accident one lady died on spot & other 15 persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by LHC Sarita, I/O PS Dhalli.

3. An Excise Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Jhakri on 01-01-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  on the report of SI/SHO Mangat Ram, PS Jhakri that during patrolling alongwith staff  near Jhakari he recovered 5 liters illicit liquors from the possession of Smt. Phool Maya R/o Rehari Market Jhakri. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Jhakri.

4. An Excise Case FIR No. 2/14 is registered at PS Jhakri on 01-01-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  on the report of ASI Cheering Dorje, I/C PP Sarahan that during patrolling alongwith staff  near Rangori he recovered 6 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Gokal Ram R/o Rangori, Teh. Rampur. The case is being investigated by ASI Cheering Dorje, I/C PP Sarahan.

5. A Snatching Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 2-1-14 U/S  382 IPC  on the statement of Sh. Shakti Lal S/o Sh. Durga Dass R/o VPO Khabal, Teh. Chirgaon, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 2-1-14  at about 11.00AM while he was going to Lakkar Bazar Bus Stand when he crossing the Lower Bazar Tunnel one unknown person pushed him and snatched his bag with Rs.70,000/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Paramjeet Singh I/O P.S Sadar.

6. During last 24 hours 194 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 14 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 34,200/-.

CRIME REPORT 01 JANUARY

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 1-1-14 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil dutt S/o Sh. Dhyan Ram R/o Vill. Kot, PO Balag, Teh.Theog, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 31-12-13 he was going towards Nogli in Maruti Car No. HP25A-0913 along with Surinder Singh on dated 01/1/2014 at about 12.05AM when he reached near Nogli Dvr. Surinder Singh lost control over the vehicle and it fell down below Road. This accident occur due to rash and neglient driving of the Driver of car Surinder Singh. In this accident both persons got injuries over their body. Case has been registered and is being investigated by HC Bhakshi Ram IO PS Rampur.

2. An Accident  Case FIR No. 247/13 is registered at PS Sadar on 31-12-13 U/S  279, 337 IPC & 187 M.V Act  on the statement of Sh. Rajinder Singh S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Vill. Lagal, PO Majhar, Teh. Theog, Distt Shimla,  alleging therein that on 31-12-13 at about 7.00PM when he reached  opposite Medical college IGMC Cart Road Simla a Car No. HP09C-4300  hit him. This accident occurred due to negligence and rash driving by Car Driver. In this accident he got injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt  I/O P.S Sadar.

3. A Rioting Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 1-1-14 U/S 147,148,149,323  IPC on the statement  of Sh. Deepak Chaudhary R/o House No. 20, Bagga Building 3th Floor Gali No. 1, Krishna Nagar I, New Delhi, alleging therein that on 31-12-13 at 11.00PM while he reached at Old ISBT from Delhi, 7/8 persons assaulted them in which he and Tripta Shukla got injured. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand  I/O PS Sadar.

4. During last 24 hours 132 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 18 persons were challaned under Smoking Act., 11 person were challaned under Police Act. & 11 persons were challaned drunken driving.  The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 24,330/-.
