CRIME REPORT 2 DECEMBER

  1. An Accident Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Sunni on 1-1-14 U/S 279,337 IPC on the report of SI/SHO PS Sunni that  a Alto Car No. HP63A-2600 met with an accident near Gharat Nala Sunni. Due to rash & negligence of driver this vehicle  fell down 100 mtrs., in which five persons got injured. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Sunni.

  2. An Accident Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 2-1-14 U/S 279, 337, 304 A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mintu Verma S/o Sh. Om Prakash Verma R/o H.No. 98/2 Gali No.8 B, Shanti Nagar Manimajra, Chandigarh, alleging therein that on 2-1-14 at about 9-00 AM a vehicle HR No.  39C-2299 met with an accident near Kufri By-pass. Due to rash & negligence of driver Suresh Kumar. In this accident one lady died on spot & other 15 persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by LHC Sarita, I/O PS Dhalli.

  3. An Excise Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Jhakri on 01-01-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  on the report of SI/SHO Mangat Ram, PS Jhakri that during patrolling alongwith staff  near Jhakari he recovered 5 liters illicit liquors from the possession of Smt. Phool Maya R/o Rehari Market Jhakri. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Jhakri.

  4. An Excise Case FIR No. 2/14 is registered at PS Jhakri on 01-01-14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  on the report of ASI Cheering Dorje, I/C PP Sarahan that during patrolling alongwith staff  near Rangori he recovered 6 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Gokal Ram R/o Rangori, Teh. Rampur. The case is being investigated by ASI Cheering Dorje, I/C PP Sarahan.

  5. A Snatching Case FIR No. 1/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 2-1-14 U/S  382 IPC  on the statement of Sh. Shakti Lal S/o Sh. Durga Dass R/o VPO Khabal, Teh. Chirgaon, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 2-1-14  at about 11.00AM while he was going to Lakkar Bazar Bus Stand when he crossing the Lower Bazar Tunnel one unknown person pushed him and snatched his bag with Rs.70,000/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Paramjeet Singh I/O P.S Sadar.

  6. During last 24 hours 194 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 14 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 34,200/-.
