CRIME REPORT 07 DECEMBER

1. During last 24 hours 260 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 24 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. & 3 challaned under mining Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 43,600/-.

CRIME REPORT 06 DECEMBER

1. During last 24 hours 239 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 27 person were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 31,300/-.

It is  for the information of general public that No Objection Certificate of vehicles pertaining to District Shimla are now will be issued from the Office of Superintendent of Police District Shimla in Traffic Branch instead of SCRB Khalini Shimla-2. People can collect the NOC of  all types of vehicles w.e.f. 02.12.2013 after depositing the processing fee.

CRIME REPORT 05 DECEMBER

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 250/13 is registered at PS West on 05-12-13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Neem Chand  S/o Sh. Gusau R/o VPO Gadhari, Teh. Sunni, Distt. Shimla A/P Motorcycle Rider, Traffic Wing Shimla, alleging therein that on 05-12-13 at about 9.00 PM he was going  to Court (Chakkar) in Motorcycle bearing No. HP 62-2035. When he reached near Deepak Project, Chaura Maidan,  A vehicle bearing No. HP 03C-3011 came from Boileauganj hit his Motorcycle.  This accident took place due to  rashness and negligence of Driver Man Singh. In this accident Neem Chand got injured. The case is being investigated by HC Laiq Ram, I/O PS West.

2. A Forest Act. Case FIR No. 172/13 is registered at PS Theog on 04-12-13 U/S 26,33,63 IF Act & 434,447 IPC on the complaint of  Sh. Parveen Kumar, Range Forest Officer  Theog,  Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that Baldev Thakur owner of Fun Campus Gallu, Amar Singh owner of Fun World Kufri, Kumbh Dass, Mohan Lal are captured Govt. Forest Land in illegal way and making construction on Forest land and moves land mark  fixed by public authority at Teer Mahasu, Rajinder Rakh, Kangar & Lambidhar near Fagu without permission of Govt. The case is being investigated by HC Het Ram I/O PP Fagu.

3. During last 24 hours 318 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 13 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 43,100/-.

CRIME REPORT 04 DECEMBER

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 185/13 is registered at PS Rampur on 03-11-13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Nishu Bansal S/o Sh. Jai Bhagwan Bansal R/O Ward No 4 Main Bazar Rampur Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 03-12-13 at about 3.30 PM he was going Nogali in vehicle bearing No. HP 06C-9091. When he reached Bazir Bawali , A Bolero Camper No. HP 06B-1141 hit his Car.  This accident took place due to  rashness and negligence of Driver Dev Raj S/o Kehar Singh R/o Vill. Deothi, Teh. Rampur, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal, I/O PS Rampur.

2. A Theft Case FIR No. 249/13 is registered at PS West on 04-12-13 U/S 379, 34 IPC on the statement of  Sh. Vishal Thakur S/o Late Sh. Singhar  R/o Tal, PO Badhari, Teh. & Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on the intervening night 3/4-12-13 three persons namely Vishal Sethi, Anil & Rahul has been stolen 7 batteries in Bolero Camper HP 64B-1047. Accused arrested.  The case is being investigated by SI Harish, I/O PS West.

3. During last 24 hours 263 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 01 person were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs.30,200/-.

CRIME REPORT 03 DECEMBER

1. A ND&PS Case FIR No. 246/13 is registered at PS West on 02-12-13 U/S 27 ND&PS Act.on the report of HC Anil Kumar that when he was on patrolling alongwith staff at Tara Hall etc. and when he reached near Shivam Building in which Snooker Parlor is opened. He entered Snooker Parlor & found one person smoking cigarette and a smell of charas was also present there. After seeing police there he threw it at once and tried to break it. When HC Anil Kumar according to procedure interrogated and searched him, two cigarettes filed with charas were recovered from him. After interrogation he disclosed his name Rakesh Thakur S/o Sh. Baldev Raj Thakur R/o Bukhari, PO AG Office, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS West.

2. A Burglary Case FIR No. 247/13  is registered at PS West  on 02-12-13 U/S 457,380 IPC, some unknown person has broken the lock of Godrej and stolen away Neckless, Kitty Set, Tops & Jumky near Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Ram Nagar Shimla. The case is being investigated by PSI Rajesh Prashar, I/O PS West.

3. A Burglary case FIR No. 227/13 is registered at PS Sadar 02-12-13 U/S 454,380 IPC, some unknown person has  stolen  away two gold rings , currency note of 5000/- and some silver coins near  Lower Kaithu Shimla, The case is being investigated by SI Sandeep Kumar I/C PP, L/Bazar.

4. During last 24 hours 164 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 7 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs.25,700/-.

CRIME REPORT 02 DECEMBER

1.      A Wrongful Restraint Case FIR No. 244/13 is registered at PS West on 01-12-13 U/S 341,323, 147,148, 149 IPC,  alleging therein that on  01-12-13 when he  was near Victory Tunnel,  Ajay Salvani, Harish Viyas &some  other persons came from Railway Station in  vehicle bearing No. HP-01A-1160. They  obstructed  his way and beaten him. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS West.

2.      An Accident  Case FIR No. 184/13 is  registered at PS Rampur on 01-12-13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of  Sh. Babu Ram S/o Sh. Goverdhan Dass R/o Vill. Punan, Sub- Tehsil Nankhri, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 01-12-13 at about 2.00 PM when he  was going to see the Lavi Fair along with his son and his nephew Radhe Krishan .In  Indira Market a Alto Car bearing No. HP 14-8934(T) hit his son Nilesh. This accident occur ed due to rash and negligence of above Alto driver. The case is being investigated by HC Bakshi Ram, I/O PS Rampur.

3.   During last 24 hours 142 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 10 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs.15,000/-.

CRIME REPORT 01 DECEMBER

1. A Burglary Case FIR No 226/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 30.11.13 U/S 457,380 IPC , alleging therein that in the intervening night 27.11.13 to 29.11.13 some unknown person broken the window and stolen away Kitty Set & One Gold Bangle. The Case is being investigated by SI Dharm Singh  I/O P.S Sadar Shimla .

2. An Accident Case FIR No 183/13 is  registered  at  PS  Rampur on 30.11.13 U/S 279,337IPC on the Rukka of ASI Karam Chand alleged that at about 1.30 PM one person namely Bittu S/o Moh. Jakir Miyan R/o Bihar who was going towards Kheneri on Motorcycle No HP06-3478, when above persons reached near HS Kheneri Petrol Pump he lost control over the vehicle and it fells down in to hill. This   accident occur due to rash and negligent driving of the driver Bittu above. He sustained injuries over his body & has been referred to IGMC Shimla for treatment. The Case is being investigated by ASI Karam chand I/O Ps Rampur.

A Burglary Case FIR No. 243/13 is registered at  PS  West Shimla on 30.11.13 U/S 454,380 IPC,alleging therein that   some  unknown person  stolen  Gold & Silver  Chain  and Cash .Rs  30.000/-  .Total value  is worth   Rs. 85000/- approx. The Case is being investigated by HC Man Singh  I/O  PS West  Shimla.

4. An Accident  Case  FIR No.50/13 is registered at PS  Nerwa on  30.11.13 U/S 279, 337 IPC  on the  statement of SH. Jagdish Chauhan S/o Sh Man Singh Caste Rajput VPO  Dimbi Tehsil Shilai  Distt Sirmaur, alleging therein that   while  he was  returning  from  retirement party  at Chopal  to  Dimbi   he was  traveling in a Private Vehicle  bearing No.  HP17A-7651 Alto  accompanied by  friends  namely Rajinder Chauhan, Jagdish ,Dhanvir, Jagpaul and Jagdish. Rajinder  Chauhan was driving  the  above vehicle  in over speed  due to  that  accident  in near  about  Dhawada Bridge Nerwa . No causality in this happened all passenger were slightly injured. The case is being investigated by HC Hem Raj  I/O PS Nerwa. 

5. During last 24 hours 187 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M V Act , 01 Challaned under Mining Act. and 07 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of  challans under MV, & COPTA Act is Rs. 28,300/-
