Crime Report on 10th May 2019 (MORNING)


1.       AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 53/19 has been registered at PS East on 09.05.2019 U/S 279, 427 IPC on the statement of Sh Sachin Thakur S/o Sh Kesar Singh R/o village Melan P/o Kot Tehsil Kumarsain District Shimla alleging therein that on 09.05.2019 a truck No. HP62A 2527 colided with HP63A 8273(Tata Tayego) HR 01V-8280 (Alto), HP38E 6007 (I20) and HP 09A 4652 (Maruti Car) . This accident happened due to rash and negligent driving of Balbir S/o Bhadur Singh R/o Kailath P/o Shilai District Sirmour H.P. The case is being investigated by HC Pramod I/O PP Kasumpti.  
A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 52/19 has been registered at PS East on 09.05.2019 U/S 4,5 Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Narender I/O SIU Shimla alleging therein that on 09.05.2019  during patrolling at Kasumpti Shimla he got information regarding playing of gambling with playing cards. On This Information he alongwith staff raided the house of Narender Sharma and recovered Rs 35,150 from the possession of 08 persons. The case is being investigated by HC Mahesh Dogra I/o PP Kasumpti Shimla.  
2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 107/19 has been registered at PS West on 09.05.2019 U/S 39 (i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Roshan Lal I/O PS West alleging therein that on 09.05.2019 during patrolling at Tavi curve he recovered 18 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Vijay Kumar S/o Late Sh Jogeswer Prasad R/o Apka Bhojnalya near Hardwear Kacchi Ghati Tara Devi Shimla.The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal I/O PS West.    
3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 80/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 09.05.2019 U/S 39 (i) (a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of Inspector Harish Kumar SHO PS Theog alleging therein that on 09.05.2019 during patrolling at Prem Ghat he recovered 90 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Hari Bhadur S/o Lal Vir and Naveen S/o Sh Harka Bhadur C/o Pummy Vekta R/o Premghat Theog. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Theog.
4.    During last 24 hours vehicles 482 were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 208. 20 person’s challaned under Smoking Act.
