Crime Report on July 29, 2018

1.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 148/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.07.2018 U/S 39 Excise act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Chand, I/O PS Theog alleging therein that on 28.07.2018, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the Shop/Dhaba of Kirti Bahadur S/o Sh. Kharak Veer A/P running a Shop/ dhaba at village  Narail, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla and recovered 14 Bottles of Country liquor marka Santra No. 1, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Chand, I/O PS Theog. 

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 149/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.07.2018 U/S 39 Excise act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Chand, I/O PS Theog alleging therein that on 28.07.2018, on the secret information, 24 Bottles of Country liquor has been recovered from the possession of Meen Bahadur S/o Sh. Gian Bahadur R/o Village Narail, PO Laffughati, Tehsil Theog, Shimla from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Chand, I/O PS Theog.

3.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 150/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 29.07.2018 U/S 39 Excise act on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila, Theog alleging therein that on 28.07.2018, one vehicle No. HP09C-0581 stopped by them for checking and during the searching of vehicle, 84 Bottles of Country liquor marka Santa No.-1 recovered from the possession of Shyam Singh S/o Sh. Dila Ram R/o Village & PO Bhalgar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila (Theog).

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 96/18 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 29.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjeet Mishra S/o Sh. Ashok Mishra R/o Village Khagni, PO Mustfabad Tehsil Goriakhothi District Siwan, Bihar A/P shopkeeper, Jai Maa Durga Hardware Store, near PWD Rest Hosue, Reckongpeo, Kinnuar, alleging therein that on 28.07.2018 at about 07-35 PM, he alongwith his brother Ranjeet Kumar, was going to Bihar from Reckongpeo in his car No. HP25C-7451. When they reached Nogli, at the same time a Vehicle No. HP06A-8797 Alto-800, driven by Bal Raj S/o Sh. Chajji Ram R/o Village Pali, PO Poshna, Tehsil Nirmand, District Kullu, came rashly with negligent driving and hit his car. The case is being investigated by HC Lal Chand, I/O PS Rampur.

5.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 140/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 29.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Gain Singh S/o Sh. Hari Dass R/o Village Tikker PO Basadhar Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 29.07.2018 at about 09-45 PM, one Mahindra Pick-Up No. HP51B-2497, met with an accident near Deepak Guest House and rolled over on the middle of road due to rash & negligent driving of Ravinder, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Tek Ram, I/O PS Dhalli.

6.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 151/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 29.07.2018 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Manoj Kumar S/o Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Village Shila PO Deha Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that today on 29.07.2018 at about 09-00 AM, he alongwith his friend Anil @ Nilu (Nepali) were travelling in vehicle No. HP52A-0933 (Weagon-R). As they reached 01 KM ahead from Shilagaon, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 30 feet from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Anil @ Nilu S/o Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Village Shilla. In this accident, Anil @ Nilu died on the way to hospital. The case is being investigated by ASI Chet Ram, I/C PP Deha (Theog).      

7.     During last 24 hours 242 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 132 fine realized Rs.  77,700/- and 27 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,700/-.

1.     Accused  Rajesh Kumar @ Khanna S/o Sh. Mehga Ram R/o House No. 97, Dashmesh Colony, Mandi Govindgarh, Tehsil Amloh, Distt. Fatehgarh PB., arrested in case FIR No. 57/18 U/S 379 34 IPC at PS Dhalli is remanded in Police Custody upto 30.07.2018, by the Ld. Court.

2.     Accused i) Sunny S/o Sh. Surender R/o G-303, Tea-Huts near Kushal Hole, Jahangeerpur New Delhi-33 and ii) Avinash Vishwas S/o Sh. Uma Shankar R/o DG-76, 77, Galli No.-1, Swaroop Nagar, New Delhi-42, arrested in case FIR No. 189/18 Dt. 18.07.2018 U/S 170 420 120B IPC at PS West, is remanded in Police Custody upto 30-07-2018.   

3.     Accused Jagdish Bhardwaj @ Deepu @ Chatra S/o Sh. Bahadur Ram Sharma R/o Duggal Cottage Taradevi, Shimla, HP, age 23 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 197/18 Dt. 27.07.2018 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, is remanded in Police custody upto 30.07.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4.     Accused Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Het Ram R/o Village Serati (Khaddar) PO Nakoda Pull, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 90/18 Dt. 26.07.2018 U/S 363 366 IPC & 12 POCSO Act at PS Chopal, is remanded in police custody upto 03.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.

5.     Accused i) Nirmal Singh @ Sunny S/o Sh. Sardar Bahadur R/o Charanjeet Niwas, Vishwkarma Cottage Dhalli, Shimla, age 28 years & ii) Geeta Ram @ Sanju S/o Lt. Sh. Mohan Lal Thakur R/o Village Sumog, PO Chalal Tehsil Sunni, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 31/18 Dt. 15.02.2018 U/S 379, 427, 34 IPC at PS Dhalli, are remanded in police custody upto 31.07.2018.  

6.     Proclaimed Offender Hari Singh S/o Sh. Hem Raj R/o Village Taha PO Takhatgarh PS Nurpur Bedi, Tehsil Anandpur Sahib, District Ropar, Punjab, age 66 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 71/03 Dt. 23.05.2003 U/S 363 366A IPC at PS Rohru. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
